Quick l words that describe our experience with Home Source: Professional, Reliable, Flexible.We have been working with Ozzy and Home Source for several years now to complete two major home renovations. The first was building a stand alone garage and new driveway on the opposite side of where the driveway originally existed for our home. The second was redoing our entryway- removing the staircase, closet and creating a whole new space.Our projects required a lot of planning. Throughout the entire process, the Home Source team, especially Ozzy, were patient and assured us that we were going to get exactly what we wanted, no matter what curveballs the town would throw at us. Ozzy would constantly say we had nothing to worry about. And sure enough, we ultimately ended up with exactly what we wanted.Ozzy is always happy to answer questions and explain the process. With a busy schedule/three kids, it was always helpful to know exactly what was going to be going on at the house, and Ozzy never failed to provide me with specifics when I asked. I especially liked that Ozzy would come by and see how the work was progressing. He was always available to us. If there was something I thought I forgot to say I wanted, he would say no problem and make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted.Our vision and style is not necessarily what you see in current home trends. I had a very specific look I was going for and I was concerned when finding a contractor that they would discourage us from doing what we wanted. Or they would try to push their style on us. Ozzy knew my vision and was happy to work with me to achieve exactly what I wanted.The quality of the work is top notch. Ozzy wants you to be happy/thrilled with your home and they will stand by their work and make sure it is perfect. If something needs to be tweaked, they'll do it.We have been extremely happy with Ozzy and everyone from Home Source. We know many people that have used Home Source and also have had a great experience. We definitely will recommend them to others as well.

By far the easiest review I’ve ever provided. Ozzy and the Home Source team were simply amazing from Day 1 and it’s difficult to imagine how we could possibly be any happier with the final result.We just finished an addition transforming our ranch-style home into the colonial house of our dreams. We’d heard so many horror stories about major projects like ours but Ozzy and team did such a tremendous job day in and day out on every aspect of the addition. His initial estimate was that the project would take 6-8 months because of a variety of potential delays and, 6 months and two weeks after Day 1, the project was completed and we were already moved back in.Ozzy always made himself available to answer our many questions throughout the project, was incredibly patient every step of the way and somehow always managed to remember every single detail that we ever spoke about. His responsiveness, attention to detail, professionalism and genuine interest in delivering our vision made what might have otherwise been a stressful project a smooth and fun experience that exceeded our expectations in absolutely every way.The Home Source team was ever present throughout the project and our neighbors regularly commented that (1) the team was there every day and (2) for the amount of work being done inside the house, they would have expected to hear the noise at all hours – far from it and you wouldn’t have known work was being done if there wasn’t always the van(s) outside. We were very fortunate to be staying in an apartment a couple miles away so regularly stopped by – most folks would have gotten annoyed at how frequently we stopped by but the Home Source team was always so friendly and happy for us to check in on the progress. They regularly made a conscious effort to go above and beyond and, each time we threw them a curve ball (i.e. a mix up in paint colors, I ordered the wrong fixtures or something came out different than what we had envisioned), they always had the same response – “No Problem”.Huge thank you to Ozzy and Home Source team for such an incredible job transforming our home. The only negative might be that now my wife wants to redo the kitchen because that’s the only room in the house that hasn’t been updated. At least I know who to call!

We could not be more pleased with the outcome of our home renovation. Ozzy and his crew are top notch, and we highly recommend The Home Source to anyone looking for a trustworthy, experienced and skilled contractor. We were very impressed that Ozzy was on site at our project nearly every day. Fearing all of the construction horror stories often heard, we feel lucky and grateful not to have experienced any of them ourselves. We really had no idea what we were getting into when we embarked on this project. From adding square footage, to building an entirely brand new kitchen, to various updates throughout the house, almost every single room was touched in one way or another, as well as exterior updates to the front of the house. We lived in the basement throughout construction and the crew was always courteous, respectful and mindful that were living there through all of it. Ozzy and his crew transformed our house into everything we imagined it would be. Professional, resourceful, knowledgable, hard working team (plumbing, electric, construction), transparent (you know exactly what you are paying for, no surprises), responsive (returns calls and/or texts in a timely manner). We are so happy we chose Ozzy and his company The Home Source!!!To sum up how he delivered….the physical work on our home started a month and a half late (by no fault of his company… our personal reasons) and he still managed to finish at the original end date of the project!!!We couldn’t be happier and will continue to use Ozzy and his company for any future home projects!!!!

We just finished a major major kitchen and laundry room renovation and couldn’t be more happy that we chose Ozzy and his team to do it. Ozzy and his crew were incredible and I've since recommended Home Source to a few friends (and all of THEM are supremely satisfied). We originally found about Home Source from some friends in town who had added a 2nd floor to their ranch-style home. My wife and I saw the work, asked lots of questions of the homeowners, and decided that Ozzy was the right guy to help us.We had a smaller, cape-style home so we decided to knock it down and rebuild from scratch, so Ozzy essentially built us a brand new home (using some of the original foundation, in addition to an extension). His guys were friendly, reliable, talented, and always went above and beyond our expectations. Even my next-door neighbor would always tell me how respectful and quiet they worked (no blaring radios, etc.), and that they almost never took a day off. Their work ethic was unlike anything I've ever seen.As for Ozzy, he absolutely delivered on every promise he made and we couldn't be happier with our interactions with him. My kids run up and give Ozzy a hug whenever we see him so, in some ways, he's become part of the family. He was always available to us, unlike some of the nightmare stories we've heard about some contractors. Ozzy always provided helpful solutions and was extremely honest with us about his suggestions, pricing, etc..I cannot stress enough how organized Ozzy is, how accommodating he was in working around our schedules, and also how well he collaborated with our architect.We would 100% hire Home Source again in the future. I can't say enough nice things about Ozzy and the crews at Home Source. Every interaction, every day was excellent from first meeting Ozzy through the last 3 months of work. They transformed my house, razing an ancient cement walkway and stairs to replace it with a large modern porch.The crews were here at a consistent time every here and worked a full day (not leaving at 3pm every day like I've seen in the past). The crews were friendly and nice. Here's an example -- on the day they arrived, my front door became unavailable right away. I hadn't really expected that, so I had to shovel from my back door all the way around to the front. While I was shoveling, they realized what happened and came over to help. These kind of things happened all the time!The construction itself seems to be quite high quality. I'd check around and always notice angles being square, pieces being level, screws and nails driven correctly -- anything I could think to check. They also did masonry and electrical work as part of my job -- I'm equally happy with both. I recently hired Ozzy from Home Source to remodel my bathroom, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The entire process, from the initial consultation to the final walk-through, was smooth and professional.Ozzy and team started by removing the old bathtub and replacing it with a beautiful standup shower. The rain shower they installed is a luxurious touch that I absolutely love. The new shower tiles are stylish and modern, and the shower door is a perfect fit.In addition to the shower, they also replaced my old vanity with a gorgeous new one. They even installed custom lighting to make the space look even better. The backlit vanity mirror is a real showstopper!Throughout the project, Ozzy was communicative and responsive to my needs. Ozzy was recommended to us by my cousin who had recently built a gorgeous new home.From our first meeting with him, we knew he would do an amazing job with our renovation. His bid was very detailed, we knew what type of windows, heating units, etc., we were given estimates for. Nothing was vague, he presented a clear cost of what we could expect the renovation to cost.We had a cape style ranch that we gutted and built a second level. Ozzy was a true gentleman, very organized, kept to his word and always communicated with us. He treated his crew as if they are family.Our renovation took place during the pandemic, he never promised anything he couldn’t complete. Ozzy and his crew came highly recommended, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the job they did. We brought them in to remodel our family room, which previously felt dark and closed off from the rest of our main floor - it had a massive old wood burning stove that was far too large for the room, and a giant, dark red brick wall and hearth. Ozzy handled all the permit paperwork and it was a breeze thanks to him. The team removed the stove and brick (along with the exterior chimney associated with the stove), gave us a beautiful gas fireplace and built-in bookshelves, and opened the wall up leading into the family room to help our main floor feel more open and airy. The project also entailed redoing the posts, balusters and handrails for our main staircase, and everything turned out beautifully. In addition to being extremely responsive and professional, one of the things we appreciate most about Ozzy is his willingness to listen, and desire to ensure that we'd be happy with the end result. Mid-way through the project there was one detail we weren't sure about, and we asked if we could make a change - which required some extra time/labor, etc. Not only was he willing to listen, but he (and the crew) handled this with such ease and grace! It was never a problem, and honestly in our experience with other contractors, this could have gone in many other directions -- but we were so pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to go through the process, and are extremely happy with how everything turned out. We actually came in under set budget and only 4 weeks behind schedule which is, truly, remarkable. The people he hires are kind and polite people, and very neat with their work. Glad I found Ozzy for the remodeling project for our house. I only heard the scary stories with all remodeling projects and never anticipated my experience was going to be the opposite. The contract was detailed and he provided all the details about where he will be spending the money. The moment I saw that, I was leaning towards his deal, even though I had different quotes with lower numbers. When I asked for the referral, he gave me a big list and told me that these are the projects he worked in the past and to call any of them to verify. That was the moment I decided to choose him. As a matter of fact, I didn’t even call any of the referrals. He was very upfront with the cost and told me in advance the extra, which was consistent with his contract. I never experienced any hidden cost or surprise all along the construction.Ozzy and his crew were very friendly and we considered them as a member of family. I will strongly recommend Ozzy and his team to any one. I already gave his details to several of our friends so that they could also experience the best. I was very satisfied that I was able to get through this very easily, and Ozzy made the process as smooth and easy as possible.
