Elite is by far the best choice in for roofing!! My building had the daunting task of replacing our entire roof and all the siding. After meeting with many different contractors, Elite stood out above all! They were super detailed and helpful in the process of quoting and building out the scope of work. When it came time for the construction to begin they showed up on time, they worked quickly, and were very responsive when I had questions. The crew was also super friendly and professional the whole time. Also, their work speaks for itself, the finished product looks amazing! I can’t fit all the words needed to describe the great experience it was working with a team as professional and knowledgeable as Elite’s. Al and the whole crew are awesome. I’ve been having some leaking during heavy rainstorms, I called Elite Roofing. I explained to them my issues, they sent someone over the next day to inspect. Elite sent me the pictures taken from my roof and called me to show me the trouble areas of my roof. And explained in detail what it would take to make repairs. They sent me a quote and a couple of days later contacted me because substantial rain was forecast in the next couple of days. Elite came that Friday, made necessary repairs, took a lot of pictures to show me what they did. On Saturday we had that torrential downpour that was predicted. Elite is my go-to roofer. The most recent project was shingle replacement on a slanted, forward facing roof section (I have a flat roof that Elite sealed a few years ago). The staff were completely professional, their work was excellent and efficient. Communication with the front office is always friendly and a breeze. I did not need to monitor their progress because I trust the people at Elite. They left my surroundings completely clean. Even though Elite is not the cheapest, the value of their service is excellent. Don’t go cheap on roofing because you’ll pay the price later.

This company is fantastic and priced reasonably given the scope of work they performed. I got 5 different estimates when water started to leak into the attic. Although some might have been a little cheaper I felt that Al and his team had a real passion for their work; their experience speaks for itself and they have a whole warehouse/workshop to deal with any roofing needs.This also happened during the winter so I was worried that the snow would make the leaks even worse; they only work in 40° and up. Luckily it's been warm this winter. From the time I signed the contract to the time the work was performed took about a month, mainly because Jersey City is slow to approve permits. Al was very open and answered all of my questions. I had to present to the board for approval of a special assessment and he sent me all the drone photos; I was able to explain to everyone what issues we were having and how he intended to address all of them.On the day the work started there were 5 large trucks outside my building and they basically finished 90% of the work on my ~1700 square foot flat roof in about 9 hours; they finished the rest the next business day. Al was the only contractor that seemed to understand what the real issue was as to why my roof was leaking and I'd rather spend a little more for peace of mind; the roof is definitely an area of a building you don't want to skimp on and whoever put my old roof in definitely cut corners. After visiting their warehouse/workshop, speaking to Al and seeing all his previous work I knew I wanted them to fix the roof. I am part of an HOA and we had already wasted ~$6,000 on the roof; we still had issues less than a few years later. This is what happens when you want to save a little bit of money by hiring a cheap contractor; it costs more in the long run and the damage continues.They also changed out the gutter system and the skylight (the other contractor that replaced the skylight previously put the wrong type on for a flat roof) along with the re-roof.I highly recommend them if you are considering a roofer and I like that they have a maintenance program for the roof after they install it; yes there is an extra fee for the gutter cleaning and roof maintenance but I'd rather have them catch a problem early than have another leak cause additional roof damage.

I was referred to Elite Roofing by a neighbor. And I must say It’s rare to find contractors that are as passionate about their craft as this company. Before committing, I visited their headquarters in Bayonne NJ., where I was greeted with a warm welcome, then given a tour and crash-course in roofing by the owner, who seemed obsessed with roofs. That’s a compliment, because I left feeling like I was dealing with a company that was competent, detailed oriented, honest, and would not cut corners. I also liked the fact that they handle jobs mainly in Hudson County, NJ., which means they were very familiar with the local architecture.My job consisted of a complete roof tear-off and replacement on an 1890 row house. I also needed two skylights replaced. Elite got the entire job done in one day, and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. The workers were polite, accommodating, and professional throughout the process. Although I am always skeptical, I was reassured by Elite office staff with prompt and courteous responses through phone and email. They were very professional and i enjoyed the fact that they were local. Come to find out this is a family business and that's exactly what I was looking for.Elite Roofing performed a rather complicated task on replacing a 4 inch storm drain (50 feet high) from a difficult position on the roof down to the basement. Shopping around for a Jersey city contractor to fix some roof siding damage, I came across elite roofing. Comparing prices from some other nearby roofers I found them to have the best value and initial customer service. I identified the area that needed repairs and they sent someone to check it out a few days later. They were able to come up with an estimate a few days after that. After some back and forth I paid a deposit and scheduled the work. I had to do some coordination with neighbors for access, but Al and crew came and finished the work In about 3 hours, close to their estimated time. I would highly recommend using them for your roofing needs.

Over a few sweltering July days, Elite's team ripped off my old roof down to its 1895 bones. They repaired underlying damage, re-pitched the flat parts, and put a new roof over two complicated flat areas and one shingled gabled section.I'd called Elite before for a downspout and re-roofing a bay window, so I trusted them and hired them again. There was only a one-week window for the work since the house residents were out of town, and the team showed up exactly as promised. Everyone was professional, considerate with the nuns next door, and attentive to not letting the cats get out of the house.Plus, on a return trip to add a gravel stop, one of them rescued my drone from where it was stuck in a tree.The whole team from office manager to foreman to every laborer was hard-working, respectful, and considerate. I hired Elite Roofing to clean out my gutters and I couldn't be happier with the results! The team was on time and the communication was 100%. Charlie and Anthony were able to remove my gutter guards, remove all of the debris that fell through, and reinstall my gutter guards within an hour.
