I had an issue post solar installation where some drill holes were left in my siding. I called Rob and he was able to come out the next morning to assess the situation. He was extremely honest and very transparent on all the different repair options. What I appreciated the most was he wasn't out to take advantage of the situation and was extremely personable as he walked me through everything. I called Huggs Roofing and left a message. Robert called me back within a short time and scheduled an appointment. He told me that he would inspect my roof and if any problems were found he would document and photograph. Robert arrived promptly. He climbed in our roof and throughly inspected it. My husband and I had an issue with our roof (shingles blew off in windstorm). We called Robert ( the owner)Thursday, January 11, 2024 to explain to him our problem. He immediately made an appointment for the next day and told us he would call us before he came. On January 12, he called us back to let us know he was on his way. He fixed our shingles and did an inspection of our roof. He informed us that the workmanship as to the installation of the shingles were not installed properly and the work was " shotty". He was professional, thorough and took the time to explain the condition of the roof(3 years old)and how it could be corrected . His price for his time was extremely reasonable. We were very pleased and impressed with his service . We highly recommend him for roofing and siding issues.

A great company and highly recommend them. Robert came out to the house listen to my concern and went up on the roof to look at the concerns. When he came back down and told me what he found and took photos of the problem. Within a few days he returned and made the repairs and was very reasonable with the fee. I had Rob come by to take a look at a leak that developed after a recent storm. He climbed on the roof, checked it out, and then examined more and noticed that the leak was likely coming from the window, not the roof. He worked with me to test to see if the leak was, in fact, coming from the window or the roof, and then, Rob caulked the window for me while he was up there to correct the issue at no charge. He could’ve very easily Told me that I needed costly repairs on my roof. Hard to find an honest contractor. Thanks again!

Had a leak start up on my roof, called Huggs Roofing and got to speak to Rob who was able to come out the next day for repairs which was great. Its amazon prime week and I work nights for amazon. Rob was accommodating to my schedule so I could get some sleep came out in the hotter part of the afternoon which I am very grateful for and promptly fixed my leaking roof. Price for repairs was great and I know I got 2-3 years left on my roof and I know who I will be calling when it comes time. Rob got the job done after a horrible storm we had recently. He came by to estimate in the pouring rain! Then returned 5 days later when the rain finally stopped. I recommend contacting Huggs Roofing and Siding if you need a new roof!We needed a new roof and after searching online came upon Robert’s website. We liked that he was located in our neighborhood. Rob was able to stop over the same day, actually, a few hours after we spoke on the phone. He took a look at our roof, took measurements and gave me the finer points of the Certainteed roofing product. He followed up with three proposals, each a different tier of the Certainteed product, along with samples and locations where he had installed each product, so we could drive by and see them installed. Communication with Rob was never an issue.I found that Rob is a personable guy, easy to speak with (answering all of my questions) and cares about the quality of his work, a true professional. Rob’s crew was fantastic, they arrived on time and got to work immediately. They cleaned up and left our property cleaner than it was before they came! By chance Huggs crew was working across the street from my grandmothers home on Dorothy drive in manahawkin and my step dad approached the crew about an issue with roofing and siding lifting on our house to ask questions and get an idea of how best to fix it…a storm ripped off some soffit and siding and the roof was getting wet underneath and the crew responded immediately had the materials within the week and fixed it beautifully no appointment even needed! Robert was very responsive after that wind storm knocked my front fascia off my house. I called him when the remnants were banging against my son's window. He was able to take down the remaining pieces despite how bad the wind was. Knowing the rain and more wind were coming he custom cut replacements and installed them on a day when it was obvious he fit me in after a full day with other customers. I recommend R & W not just because of the quality of the work, but the prompt, courteous and understanding nature of Robert Huggins. If you ever need exterior work done, go to R & W.
