When my wife and I bought our house in 2020, we had a list of items we wanted to update and quickly began knocking things off of our list. Knowing that we wanted a kitchen remodel, we got used to our space and started brainstorming some ideas for a new floor plan, quickly realizing that we weren’t designers! Ayars’ has always had a great reputation in home renovations, and we knew that when we were ready, we’d be contacting them. Four years later, we decided to move forward and our experience was exactly what we expected… perfect.Starting the process, Josh reached out to us to get a feel for what it was we wanted out of the renovation, and with a site visit, we were able to dial in on a rough draft of a list of wants and needs. He measured our area, was able to make recommendations, helped us understand the magnitude of the project, and set up a meeting with his designer, Sharon. Between the two of them, Josh and Sharon’s expertise in product lines, dimensions, aesthetic, spatial awareness, and functionality was invaluable. They had a passion for getting us exactly what we wanted by showing samples, making recommendations, collaborating and communicating as often as it took, and even grounding us if our thoughts were going astray. We felt comfortable and like a priority all of the time, throughout the entire planning process.Once a start date was determined, the execution was just as detailed. We had a schedule outlined with every work item for each day of each week. The team working at our home, Ethan and Kevin, were top notch in professionalism, respect, work ethic, attention to detail, and craftsmanship. They arrived on time, took time to zip-wall off any adjacent rooms before hand, and cleaned up at the end of every day, treating our home like their own. While on site, they felt like members of our family and were a joy. Managing the project, Eric and Josh would be in daily contact, stopping in to answer questions, verify progress, and solve a problem or two along the way. We had an unforeseen duct work issue that they had to engineer a custom repair for that ended up flawless.Overall, the value added to our home by the ideas on the front end, combined with the detail in craftsmanship and execution throughout, really couldn’t have culminated to a better outcome. Ayars Complete Home Improvement (no relation to us) renovated and redesigned our first floor including the kitchen, powder room, addition of fireplace, and upgrade of foyer and staircase. Our new space is gorgeous! Our remodel exceeded all of our expectations and, we can honestly say that there is not a single thing we would have done differently. Ayars has assembled an amazing team. From our first phone consultation with Josh to the final inspections, Ayars exceeded our every expectation. Communication was high from the start of our planning process up until final inspection day. They are a well oiled machine and it shows!Each member of the team played a key role in bringing our bathroom remodel vision to life. Josh listened to our hopes for the space, worked hard with Eric to make sure our vision had function but also met our needs. Sharon was a pleasure to work with as we made design selections- she knew just when to speak up as we worked through choices, was fun and knowledgeable, and helped us make gorgeous selections. Then came Butch- truly one of the friendliest people I've ever met- he was such a pleasure working with on the job I actually was sad to see him leave once the project finished! He was meticulous in his work and made sure all trade partners met their deadlines to keep our project on schedule. Every person we encountered from Ayars, even if it was for a brief moment, was friendly, courteous, and helpful.Beyond the wonderful people, the craftsmanship and design of our finished product is what we are happiest with. From my first meeting with Josh Ayars and Sharon, their designer, to the project's completion, I was extremely pleased with the professionalism of each member of Ayars Home Improvement. Prior to the beginning of my master bathroom renovation, both Josh and Sharon answered all my questions in a timely, courteous manner. I worked most closely with Butch on a daily basis and Eric periodically. Both always asked if I had questions or concerns. At the end of each day, the work area was left clean and neat. My wife and I recently renovated our kitchen, dinning room, and living room through Ayars in the beginning of 2022. From the initial planning stages until the completion of the project, everyone at Ayars was fantastic to work with and very responsive to our needs.Our project was big and we were planning to make a lot of changes. Ayars helped us achieve the look we were going for while keeping us grounded about what was possible within our budget.The entire project took about 7 weeks, which was right in line with the estimate. We started planning the project in the midst of the pandemic with ongoing supply-chain problems. Ayars timed everything perfectly to make sure all the materials were ready to go before the project started and nothing was delayed once the construction actually began.From the owner Josh, to the project managers, to the subcontractors, every single person we dealt with during the course of the project was personable, professional, and sincerely cared about making sure our project was a success and that we were happy with the outcome.The speed and efficiency in which they moved was unreal. Sometimes the amount of change from when I left for work in the morning to when I came home in the evening made it look like it was a different house.Moreover, the effort they made to accommodate us while we lived through the construction was appreciated. Their dedication to keeping the construction area clean at the end of every single day was a demonstration of the level of pride they clearly have in their work and reputation.I am very satisfied with how the project turned out. I could not recommend Ayars more highly.

Eric, Josh, Chip & team are the most organized & responsive contractors I've ever worked with. I had a stressful discovery about my home that required immediate & complex work and I could tell that I could put my trust in them right out of the gate which was very comforting.The team is capable to suit all of your needs and are a one-stop shop even if you are doing simultaneous projects that typically require multiple contractors. We hired Ayars Complete Home Improvements (Ayars) to complete a refurbishment of our screened in porch. This included lowering the existing knee wall and installing EZ Breeze vinyl windows in place of the existing screens.From the point of the initial meeting with Chip Ayars the owner who prepared the estimate to completion of the project the Ayars team did a superior and highly professional job. They completed the project promptly. Joe the Ayars carpenter assigned the project was dedicated to staying on schedule and worked almost entirely alone over the week to 10 day period. Each day he ensured he cleaned up thoroughly before departing after the day’s activities.Josh Ayars, Chip’s son, followed up with us during the project to ensure we were completely satisfied with the work and product.Due to their professionalism, experience, dedication and superior customer service I would highly recommend Ayars for residential building repair and construction projects.

Ayars did an amazing job with our family room remodel - built-ins, beams, lighting, repositioning our fireplace, etc - and mill work and new lighting fixture with lift installed in our foyer. Eric H. was so easy to work with. He took a lot of time to develop and build a beautiful new fireplace, mantle, and mill detail. It was a complex job which turned out amazing due to his attention to detail. We are so happy with the work! We highly recommend Ayars.

He even brought in more people to complete a two day project in one. Not only was everyone extremely professional but incredibly nice as well. We hired Ayars Complete Home Improvement to replace our roof and we are very happy to share that they are a company to be trusted! We met with Chip in their showroom in Mickleton to learn about new shingle products and pick a color. We picked a date and they showed up as contracted. They were efficient and professional in doing the job and we are very happy with the results. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and plan on hiring them again since being in their showroom gave me lots more ideas for the future renovation we are planning! Ayers completely remodeled our 3 bathrooms all at once. Their job coordination with their highly qualified subs was so good that they never left us without a shower and a toilet at any time. Short version: Ayars were absolutely spectacular from their designs, communication, craftsmanship, professionalism, and price point. They’ve been absolutely wonderful at answering our questions and concerns and were flexible with our wishes and wants. I would recommend them for any large or small home improvement projects.Long version:Early 2021, my wife and I were presented with an opportunity to buy her late grandmother’s house for a really good price and we jumped on it. It had been originally owned by her grandmother since it was built in the mid 50’s and consequentially, still looked like it was in the mid 50’s. We knew that the kitchen had to be replaced and a few other details upgraded. I called several well known contractors in the area. Most gave me a “eff you” price point or wouldn’t consider us. However, Chip Ayars, the owner, called me back and gave me so real talk. The construction industry was obviously in a boom and he wouldn’t be able to start until about June and gave a decent quote over the phone.A few days later, his son, Josh came by to see the place. His personality was contagious and you could see he agreed with our vision for the plan. He talked us through what they could do and in about how long it would take. What truly sold me was their commitment to starting the project and continuing straight to the finish with no gaps. That and they were willing to work to our budget.What I truly didn’t expect and appreciated the most was the COMMUNICATION!! My goodness, they’re a text, call, email away and always answer timely. It was so reassuring.They committed to their timeline, were very communicated to the supply chain struggles of 2021, did top notch work, and were flexible with how we wanted to change this and that.What started as a kitchen remodel request turned into new electric, new insulation, new drywall, new floors, etc because my wife and I wanted to make sure our new home was as up to date and safe as possible. Ayars never pressured us to do any of the extra work, they were just happy to do it.I cannot thank Josh, Ethan, Butch, Eric, Darrel, and Sharon enough for all the great work they did with helping us build our home. The before and after puts friend and family into awe. This is our second time using Ayars Complete Home Improvements, and my husband and I wouldn’t use anyone else. We have had our master and guest bathrooms remodeled, and the entire project from planning to completion was seamless. Chip and Josh are perfectionists when it comes to design layout and installation. They are hands on and with our last remodel this summer, Josh was by at least once a week during the three weeks it took to complete construction. All of their employees - Chuck, Butch, and Eric - were attentive to what we wanted and made the entire process les stressful.

An actual company that gets it...I cant say enough how much we love the fireplace, professionalism, and friendliness throughout the whole process. We met both Chip and Josh Ayars and they were great!All of their ideas turned out perfect and they even helped make my “ideas” come to fruition. The leathered granite, keystone, mantel and the craftsmanship of it all are awesome.Also, the little things that They do make Ayars that much better then everyone else. (I.e. Had to get some work done and the guys I trust told me about Ayars. These guys show up ON TIME and are ready to go! Sat down with us and listened to what we wanted. Didn’t try to sell more work than what was needed. These are some honest, straight forward guys which in today’s world is rare. The work was done meticulously! Even the dumpster was immaculate. Go figure. We have other work to do and Ayars will be doing it. Good people, reasonable, reliable AND great work.
