My bathroom reno turned out beautiful!! Our project was turning a water damaged powder room into a full walk-in shower bathroom. They have a great team to work with, patient with the customers’ requests and focused on getting the things done to fit your exact vision. Communication was good and they were open to work around my schedule despite being busy with multiple clients at their end as well.I will definitely with them again for all my renovation needs

We've used Garden State twice for two different jobs. We first used them for our main bathroom that was in need of a renovation. They came in and did a wonderful job of sprucing up our small bathroom. Herman and Joe were wonderful to work with. Based on the smaller bathroom job we decided to use them for our much bigger kitchen renovation. We lived at home through this much longer process, but Garden State made it bareable. During this time of renovation we noticed a problem arising from the first bathroom job. We asked them to repair their work and they did it right along side the current project. Moved to another house and needed a complete update on the entire living floor, Herman's workers, Alan and Fred, did fantastic work on our floors, walls and cabinets. Even when our paint needs changed , they brought in a color specialist, Meggie, who changed our color pallet for the better. Garden State Painting & Contracting handled all our requests and concerns in a professional manner. The modifications to the cabinetry were professionally completed, the painting was quick and accurate, wall modifications to mount our TV were accomplished professionally, when doors had trouble closing, they adjusted them with no issues. It's like a completely new home now. Herman guided his workers very closely with precision to keep us satisfied. Would use Garden State Painting & Contracting again for all our future needs.

Garden State Painting and Contracting.We hired Garden State Painting to replace our roof and gutters which were in complete disrepair. Hernane provided two roofing brands which were the top two brands which we were also considering. This reassured us that they were providing quality roofing materials to their customers and not trying to cut costs. After further research we went with one particular brand that suited our roofing needs. The roofing team did a great job in completing their roofing job in just one day. This included ripping out multiple layers for shingles. They covered the surrounding property to prevent debris from falling close to the house and did a phenomenal job clearing out all the extra bits and pieces of shingles and nails from the property. Once the roof was completed, Joe and Hernane stopped by to measure the gutters and provided a quote on the spot. The gutters were replaced within a half of day.Garden State Painting and Contracting prices were reasonable and we would use them again for future projects. They are very responsive, and their customer service was outstanding!

Very pleased with the recent work completed by Garden State Painting. I needed to repaint an enclosed Gazebo, that had multiple windows and doors with 200 window panes. The window caulking was cracked and missing, so the job required extensive reglazing. Herman provided a very reasonable estimate for the job and the paint crew did an excellent job of repairing and reglazing, priming, and finish painting. The job took a few days to complete because of all the detailed work required. The painted Gazebo looks great and I'm confident the careful paint job will last many years.

We selected Garden State Contracting after meeting with Herman and Joe. They replaced a retention wall and walkway, corrected a downspout water flow issue and sealed our driveway. The retention wall was moved to expand the driveway and be in line with our foundation which left foundation exposed. They painted it to have a clean look. They were able to get the materials quickly and brought several members of their team on Day 1 to accomplish demo quickly. Herman and Joe did some of the finishing touches themselves. Everything was cleaned and tidy upon completion, you’d never know there was mounds of dirt and chopped concrete on our driveway or a fairly large dumpster. We were referred to Garden State Painting & Contracting recently by a friend when we expressed interest in some masonry and drainage work. We were almost immediately introduced to the owner Joe, who came out to our house promptly to go over all of the work we needed done. Joe was professional, courteous and gave us a detailed and itemized quote shortly after our meeting. We ended up using Garden State for a new front walkway, side walkway, backyard patio and various other improvements to waterproofing our house. The price was very fair considering the amount of work involved. Joe had his masonry team come out and complete the job within around 2 weeks.
