We had major roof damage from leaks that were ignored for years. The roof needed to be completely redone. A crew showed up in the morning and completed the job in 1 day. I had roof damage in early winter lost shingles Rick sent two people to put a tarp on the back roof the same day. We had two layers of roofing on our house they put a new roof on new skylights and new gutters. Also custom trim work inside for the skylights. Excellent construction company for complex roofing projects. Replaced a difficult roof, 6 skylights, soffits and gutters. The company was professional with excellent attention to detail, used quality materials as stated in their estimate, and has hardworking and competent crews. Switala's replaced the roof of my addition three yrs ago. I called today when I saw "nail pops" in 3-4 spots, because this is undef warranty. Jeff's response was - "Not our fault. It is the wood sheathing that is coming up and we didn't install wood sheathing - just shingles." This is absurd. A 4x8 sheet of ply wood doesn't lift in one pointed spot, much less several scattered spots. There was no "lifting plywood" under the original roof shingles which were in place for ten years. It is merely a convenient excuse to avoid their warranty and grab another $1200 to address the problem. Sadly, Switala's does NOT stand behind their work and warranty.Service: Roof installation

Recently Scott and Patrick replaced our door, due to hail damage. They did an absolutely amazing job. They were extremely careful, neat, accurate and professional. I couldn't image anyone doing as job as they did. My door was prepainted at the factory and they did not leave a mark on it. The inside woodwork was removed in 1 piece with very little touch up by me. We love the door and sincerely thanks Switala Construction especially Scott and Patrick for a great experience and outstanding work.

I called Switala's a few years back, following a wind storm that blew a few shingles off of my roof. They came out right away, knowing that rain was in the forecast and I was worried about a leak. Their promptness is where the two stars come from - they charged me over $500 for this job. It seemed high to me at the time, but I was worried about a leak, so I went ahead with it. Just yesterday I experienced a very similar situation - a few shingles blew off, this time I had a few days because there is not rain in the forecast until the weekend. Same job - done just as quickly for under $300. I am disappointed and feel taken advantage of. I will not recommend them to anyone. As consumers we deserve good work done timely and for a fair price.

Switala's obviously prides themselves on attention to detail, clear communication with their customers and efficiency with their projects. We had some siding and gutters that needed replacement after purchsing our house.... Switala's clearly described what would be done,explained the cost in detail (which was reasonably priced, compared to the other estimates we were given) and finished the job in less than half of a day (with no left over mess to clean up). There is no pressure, just down to earth conversation that you can understand if you're not familiar with the industry. I would recommend this company 10 out of 10 times to anyone that is in need of any of the services that Switala's offers.

They came and gave an estimate. I explained that we have water leaking into house which they say they prioritize. But when it came time to schedule the work I could not get them to call me back. I called 4 times over the course of a month and each time the woman told me she would check with the guys and call me back. But they never called me back. The last time I called I left a message letting them know I would have to call another roofer if I didnt hear back. That was a week ago, still no call. I understand they may be busy but it's not difficult to at least call someone back.

Pricing was great, have a pending order for some windows but unfortunately the communication with salesman Jeff could have probably been much better. I should have spent the extra 100 dollars and gone with Big L again because I knew what I was getting.
