We had an emergency situation where the main drainage line had blocked and waste water was coming back into the home. I placed my first call to Folkes and so glad I did. They had a service technician (Dalton) to my home in less than an hour. Dalton quickly assessed the issue and went to work to clear the blockage. While the blockage was cleared the diagnosis was not so good. Roots had broken through the main line and the main line was now compromised and had to be replaced. I contracted Folkes to perform the next phase and replace the main drainage line. They did a fantastic job. Arrived on schedule, explained everything that was to be performed, kept me updated throughout the process, and left the property nice and clean.I wouldn’t hesitate to call Folkes again for any plumbing needs. They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and above all trustworthy. Thanks guys!!

Chris who came from Folkes to do a diagnostic on our boiler was terrific! He is knowledge, thorough, personable, and explained the issue in technical terms in way we could understand. The representatives I spoke with when I set up the visit were very friendly! This was our first time dealing with Folkes and are impressed! They even sent a way to track the service person along with a photo so we would know who to expect at the door. I love this! Chris was amazing to work with!

The team from Folkes treated us so well - from first call, to estimate, to project start and finish. I dealt with multiple vendors and this team exceeded them in professionalism, timeliness, and friendliness. They communicated well, were prompt, and were never late.They replaced our entire main line, all 180 feet of it, which is a major undertaking that requires a very deep trench. They went unphased and have earned our loyalty and recommendation. I absolutely recommend Folkes.

Folks to our rescue ! We had a dishwasher delivery/install scheduled that could not be completed due to a broken shut off valve. We had a 48 hour window for return in the event that the machine did not function properly once installed. Folks was able to schedule an appointment promptly and sent a highly skilled and professional technician to our home. Mike notified us of his arrival time and texted a picture to us in advance of his arrival. He was polite , well prepared and informative. He assessed the situation quickly and gave us a detailed description of the work to be completed with a price quote. He had the necessary tools and parts with him to for the job which he completed in a timely manner. He was thoughtful in his placement of the valves ( both for ease of accessibility and support) and explained his choices from a functional standpoint. He made sure everything worked properly after the work was completed and answered all of our questions. We have relied on Folks for our HVAC needs but this was our first time addressing a plumbing issue. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We would highly recommend them.

Honestly, i wanted to make this review four stars because the prices are really high. Especially for the elderly or fixed income people. The reason that I decided to give them five stars is a direct result of the Technician Danny. He was an extremely polite young man. As he worked, he explained every part of what he was doing and what the various costs would be depending on what he found. Considering how expensive all the quotes were, in the end he was able to fix my father's main issue using the lower side quote. He never rushed, kept the area clean, never lied about costs and verified his work multiple times. We appreciate technicians like Dan.

Our furnace stopped working on the coldest day. The staff and technicians at Folkes were very responsive and attentive. After diagnosing the issue and going through options, we decided to purchase a new furnace. They guided us through the type of furnaces available and what would work best for our home. Folkes loaned us space heaters for a day until the new furnace was put in. The installers were polite, smart, and very experienced. They walked us through the process, ensured it was working properly after installation and gave us some advice on how to maintain going forward. We also purchased a service contract. While I spent way more than I expected or wanted, the quality of the service and the product was very high. The company seems very reliable and I will continue to use them.

Great service. Initial call was at 9pm but they were still able to get a technician out to us. Turned out that I needed a replacement and they were able to get the entire HVAC system swapped out the next day. Professional and courteous. I highly recommend them.

I used Folkes Home services last year to perform a tune-up on my old furnace and was very happy with their work. I used them again this year to do the same but my boiler and A/C unit were in pretty bad shape. Especially that they were about 25yrs old. I decided to replace both units with Folkes Home Services and I am so happy that I did. This company is by far one of the best that I have done business with. Billy came over to give me an estimate and was a true professional. Broke everything down for me in simple terms so that I understood everything that was going to happen. I had two crews come to my house. Diego and Eric took care of the heating unit and Jermaine and Jarrett took care of the A/C unit. These guys were awesome. They removed the old units, installed the new ones and left my house and property around the house as if nothing ever happened. Very clean. Even the office worker Jackie was great. She has gone above and beyond. Any questions I had were taken care of right away by her. She even went out of her way to drop off paperwork for me on her way home. If that's not great customer service then I don't know what is. And can't forget Rich who made sure that my units were registered and all set with the warranties. I recently upgraded my baseboard electric heat with a Mitsubishi Mini Split system. I had 3 estimates done and selected Folkes Home Services to complete the project. From calling to arrange for the estimate, through the detailed interaction with the salesman, Billy, to the installation day (just a couple of days later), it was seamless.My decision to have this work done by Folkes was supported by the knowledgeable, professional, personable, and detailed estimate. Making a significant financial decision can be intimidating, all of the estimates were comparable in cost. Two main reasons steered my choice; a friend's recommendation who had Mini Splits installed by Folkes in 2019, and the Folkes labor warranty. 5 years far exceeds the competition. While no one wants to consider any issues occurring, it is reassuring that they stand by their product and service.I apologize for not remembering everyone's name (the electrical force), but I truly appreciate the timely, neat, and efficient teamwork ( even with my interruptions to ask questions). Nick and Matt are a terrific team. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and how they said they would do it. Their work was neat, respectful, and skilled. Nick's knowledge base of his trade is impressive. Both of them instilled great confidence and are excellent representatives for the company. I felt comfortable asking questions and recommendations.The weather was not our friend during the install, way below freezing temps and snow did not deter a single step.The best indicator of future experience is past experience, so I will be entering a maintenance agreement to keep my system running smooth!

Dalton, was very professional. He came into my home and he was honest and upfront. He went over a couple plans of action and he pricing options. They offer financing for those unexpected costly repairs. I truly like when technicians can come to your home and they feel like a friend more so than someone that’s about to rip you off without explanation. I have had Folkes out to my home twice this year and both times I had great experiences. And no, the first problem didn’t have anything to do with the most recent problem. Also! Both times were emergency calls. And out of 3-4 different companies that I reached out to, Folkes showed up within a timely manner.Thanks Guys!

From beginning to end the guys at Folks were nothing short of amazing. Their customer service was impeccable and never wavered on safety. They came for emergency call on Sunday night, did an estimate Monday and worked through a snow storm Tuesday to provide an entire new system knowing my family had no heat. They even went back to their office and came back out to bring space heaters to give me peace of mind to my spouse and kids through an overnight snowstorm Knowing I was at work. Folkes has been wonderful to us. We have had the preventative maintenance contract for a few years now for our furnace and central A/C. They come and service them each season and are friendly, courteous, clean and just all around kind. We have also had to call them for emergency service and they are fast and efficient. Easter Weekend John Evans came to our home cause we had a leak in our formal Dining area’s coming from the second floor hall bathroom. John was very nice and also John explained everything to my husband and I and resolved the problem immediately. John then referred us to Riches Dry wall to close the ceiling. I like to Thank Folkes for sending us a fantastic plumber and Thank You John Evans cause now our Easter Weekend is back on track.

Folkes offers great service. I needed a faucet replaced and Folkes sent John to come out and provide that service. John was great! John replaced some items under the bathroom sink, installed the faucet and cleaned up when he was done. Service was great!!

Try to rip my parents off didn't do anywork just explained what he would do. Charged my parents a consultation fee when everywhere else didn't charge a fee. Don't bother try other places that dont charge a consultation fee. Ill let the community know not to get ripped off like they did. They did call an the invoice says 0. You should honor what you invoiced. How many times do they have to call an email to show proof the invoice said 0. If it was a mistake on your behalf then its not our fault honor the mistake.

Folkes are really the good guys when it comes to home services. I know this since they initially installed my oil furnace which I bought from them years back.I recently called to have my furnace look at since it was not functioning properly. The technician they sent was Chris, who was one of the nicest, most honest, knowledgeable technicians I've ever had come here to do work ( I wish every company was like this). Anyway, Chris identified all of the problems and explained the services and pricing of what needed to be done. He assured me everything would be ok (since another company ripped me off and messed up my perfectly functioning furnace). Chris fixed everything and we are so happy and pleased not only at the exceptional work but the professionalism and integrity of all of the employees at Folkes.All I have to say is save your self the aggravation and call Folkes first. I am writing this review to say how honest Folkes is as a company, they will do a proper job for reasonable prices.

Zack was wonderful, came in and knew exactly where to look for the clog that was spilling water into my basement. They dug towards septic and resolved the issue. They put all of the soil and gravel back together, you wouldn’t even know that it had been dug up. Thanks really appreciate your professionalism.

What do you do when you find a lake inside your bathroom vanity - and you know YOU don't have the skills to replace a leaky trap??? Search the web for a plumber .... I had seen ads and trucks for Folkes in the area so I tried them. The office staff was pleasant, and they called back with an appointment time when they promised. The plumber, Zach, was punctual, agile, knowledgeable, pleasant, and tidy! Ask about their Veterans' Discount. I will be calling Folkes for any further plumbing needs.

Technicians Jason and Johnny just completed installing a new air handler and heat pump in my home. I was very impressed with the quality of the work and the care taken in both preparation and cleanup. While professional and friendly they worked through freezing conditions to insure that our heat was restored.I was also impressed with the quick response from Folkes. I called on Wednesday morning and that afternoon Noah diagnosed the problem. On Thursday morning the work was in progress.We highly recommend Folkes Home Service.
