I heartily recommend Abcar, Inc and its president, Mike Walsh. Mike worked for me on a time and materials basis over a period of months, upgrading an old house and barn. Mike has the skills and experience to perform all of the required tasks, including designing and constructing new stairs; sistering 30 joists of up to 18 feet in length; installing new wiring, wall and floor outlets, 11 light fixtures and 2 ceiling fans; installing multiple layers of rigid foam insulation between rafters and joists and fiberglass insulation between all studs; covering all insulated surfaces in an attractive way using lumber; installing 2 new doors; repairing a slate roof and installing a new kitchen stove hood and associated rigid ducts in a crawl space. Mike worked continuously on the project until it was completed. All of his work was of high quality. The bills for his labor were all reasonable

Mike is very professional with all the work he has done on my property. He has tiled and remodeled the whole bathroom. Looks like it is right out of a magazine.The deck he built is like having an extension to the house. Wood and black spindles made it so modern looking. His company also put a new roof on. He listened to our ideas and added in his with an incredible result. Definitely recommend Mike for any construction job. Mike did every phase of remodeling in my 115 year old house. He was always on time and ready to work. He has a good eye for the finish line and staying on budget. He was realistic with the budget and what should have priority. We renovated a kitchen, 2 bathrooms & 3 bedrooms and lots of flooring. He stuck with the project to the end. He is knowledgeable in all phases of construction.
