I had asked for some help to find a dolly. I was told the exact place where they were.That was very helpful. I was on a time that I needed to get in and out and I did. However I had to walk way down to an opened cashier. I want people to have jobs.

Plumbing department guys are top notch AMAZING! I'd give them 5 stars! They are so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.Garden people are usually helpful and friendly.Customer service desk workers are hit or miss. Some are downright rude and miserable human beings. They can be total annoyances and not give you your order you paid for online without your ID even though you literally have the email, credit card, and confirmation number signed in on your home depot account on your phone right in front of them. It's a rude power trip some like to play.The people doing the pickup area are hit or miss. Once a rude guy wheeled my order out on a big flat cart, checked my ID, and walked away for me to load my car and put the cart back so I left it taking up 2 pickup parking spots because it's not my job to do it's his.Lumber guys are good most of the time if you can actually find them.Paint people are usually okay.99% of the time (I'm there A LOT doing DIY and gardening) it's self checkout no cash registers open.I've had good luck with buying dishwashers from them, toilets, tools, plumbing, mulch, and plants.Military discount available!

Nothing is ever in stock, when you ask employees for help they look at you like you 3 heads. Aisles closed for hours when unloading trucks, it’d make more sense to unload in the yard so customers can purchase product. Left today and went to lowes to purchase decking supplies.

Easily accessible parking and accessible for wheelchairs. Bathrooms also easily accessible! Easy to find staff who can help if needed, bays and isles easily located due to bright tags for each of them. Clean. Check out is easily accessible and self checkout help is readily available!

I'm I'm plant junkie so I always check and see what home depot has when I'm in the area. They had a pretty decent indoor selection this time and lots of outdoor plants too. Prices are reasonable.

Today- December 28, 2023 I went to pay my statements. I have two accounts so I made out a check for the amounts of the two accounts and put the card numbers on the check memo. I was told that I could only pay for one account and needed an additional check for the other account. So I have to void a check and write two checks as well as visit the store again. Yes, there are alternate ways of paying such as on line. I prefer to pay in person and find this procedure to be an impediment for future purchasing using a Home Depot credit card. Confused and frustrated.

Sold me the wrong part twice after I specifically asked them what I'd needed. On top as of that They have no Real cashiers just someone monitoring self checkout. Return staff was friendly enough but the rest of the experience sucked.

I bought siding I needed 2 1/2 sguare, at check out I was told it would be cheaper for me to buy 2 boxes that have 2 sguare per box and return what I didn't use and now that I was trying to return after waiting for waiting for almost 45 minutes I was told I would not be able to return without paying like $50 more .I would of rather got what I needed in the first place than waste the time of driving a half hour to end up going back home with something I can't use

The staff needs better training. They need to ask for more information if that information may change the results. The managers also need to understand that sometimes you have to push to get an issue resolved instead of just going with it. ESPECIALLY if there is a large customer impact due to their miss information.

I love this store. I recently relocated to Jamestown to live with my fiance. I don't care for Jamestown, I'm from Buffalo and Jamestown is a mini Buffalo (stop doing that Jamestown, don't ruin your beautiful historic city). But then he took me to this store. Good lord I want to live in this store. The smell alone ... Lumber... I just simply love this store!!! Plenty of parking, great staff, but above all they have everything I love. Lumber, doors, windows, power tools, hardware, gloves, and so much more. I'm gonna find out if we can get married in the Lumber section of the store (knock on wood) let's hope they say yes! If not, I will still always love this store more than any other I've been to Buffalo to Jamestown. Did I mention that I love this store? You guys are awesome, please stay awesome! Whatever you're doing, it works.

Ordering shiped to the house or to the store are great. Going into the store tho needs to have at least one associate in every department, but garden needs one inside and one outside. The associates also need to pay attention for customers to see if they can do something for them. Instead of what I witnessed on 5/8/2022 the associates talking amongst themselves and not caring about customers. I was even standing right next to one and had to call him back to me to get assistance. Other than that the store is good.

I was in Home Depot looking for a specific Xmas gift & was quite disappointed that what I had wanted was sold out. But thanks to employees Bob & Mia, they were able to help me locate another item that was even better than the one that I had wanted. Definitely made my night.👍

The gentleman who mixed our paint was lovely. The checkout lady… different story. Their chip reader wouldn’t work. So she suspended the transaction and moved it to a different kiosk. Without a word, as if I’ve inconvenienced her by their machine not working. Quite rude I thought.

As always a good store. Home depot and I have a love hate relationship. They love and I hate how much money I spend here. Atleast while I spend all my money they have awesome customer service and team. Never hard to find someone to help find what I may need/want.

I needed to buy a dishwasher. Since walking is difficult for me I went online at Homedepot. After being thoroughly confused a young sales person found 2 dishwashers that would fit my space & were white. However, when I went to pay for the purchase there was NO way to pay. I wanted to use 2 credit cards. I called a representative who couldn't help me. I went back to the site to try & check out with one card but couldn't do that. They wanted me to sign in & I couldn't sign in. I was on the phone for an hour trying to pay for this purchase & I am done with Homedepot. People do not shop at a store that can't accept payment without agonizing over it for one hour & never completing it.

This Home Depot location has been a mostly overall pleasant experience for me to visit over several years and many visits. I'm a he hobbyist and often need small parts like hinges, screws, washers, rubber tubing or small pieces of wood for repairs. Location is well stocked, cleaned and cared for. My only ding on a star is due to difficulty in finding staff to help locate specific items. Once found they are always helpful and have been the make or break moments on several projects (looking at you wood fired hot tub project. Your plumbing fittings were beyond me but not the great staff member who hooked me up with the right parts). Great location that will keep getting my business.

Today we went to Home Depot in Lakewood New York. we had several items A few self checkout isles were open but only one aisle where the cashier was available .The line was so long ,went over to customer service to ask if they could open another one he said he would look into it . He didn’t do anything about it we waited there forever everybody in line was very angry

Nothing good to say about this place the customer service is non-existent the inventory never accurate electrical supplies completely missing just like my punctuation. Tonight they close the whole aisle for 30 minutes while they discussed what they needed to get off the shelf and the wastewater pump aisle well the entire city of Jamestown is flooded I generally believe this was a poor decision my business was forced to go elsewhere. Tonight it will be my shop vac and garbage barrels tonight I am upset and tomorrow I will go to Lowe's far outside of my way to purchase my utility pump rather than deal with your customer service situation again!

Cutomer service was not great. Used to be reason i chose them over Lowes.Cashier rang up our order except panels that did not have price marked. She asked us to go take picture of tag. When we came back with pic she was ringing up another customer in front of us. That customer was having difficulties checking out & we continued to be delayed. Not a positive experience. We live 5 minutes from a Lowes but prefer to drive 25 minutes to Home Depot bc employees are more knowledgeable than at our local Lowes. Never was asked to look up my own price before or made to wait after doing cashiers job.

Told us we could do a return for a purchase we made in Olean. Drove 1 hour to return it and they would not do it. They said their system would not let them. Nothing could be done now we have to drive all the way to Olean. If I had not persisted, we would have had to make another trip. Everyone was polite, but without me insisting on looking at other options, this would have taken our entire day.

Expensive but where else would you go harbor freight na not my place of choice for tooling although cheap it never last and home depot always has a good selection of brand name tools 👍👍✌️✌️
