We used true restorations for our basement renovation after we had some water damage from the storm in September. I first met with Vinny who was a pleasure to speak with to go over what needed to be done. Then I met with Steve who was wonderful to speak with. He was very thorough when he explained everything that was going to be done and when, during our walk through. During the process I felt as if he was a friend that I was working with, he also made sure everything was getting done properly. Wilmer and Ray did the actual work and they were great. They were always on time, and were pleasant to be around. I have two young daughters who are usually very shy around new people, but they loved chatting it up with Ray when they saw him. I felt very comfortable during the whole process and was happy after it was completed. I would highly recommend using true restorations!

We had a great experience with True Restoration this Fall. When other vendors weren’t even returning our calls because of major East Coast storms, True Restoration came through. Their service was amazing, the staff was kind and considerate. This is a first class operation, we highly recommend them. They arrived as promised and were both helpful and compassionate. They worked with our insurance company and helped wherever they could. They moved our stuff and helped us dispose of damaged items. They have a great reputation and were the vendor of choice by our plumber.

The Adaptation Cruise Control software in my car malfunctioned and activated while parked in front of my house in North Bellmore, with my foot on the brake; the car crashed into the house with me in it. True Restorations was recommended by a friend and Louis Rodriguez was first on site within an hour of the accident. Mr. Rodriguez and the True Restorations mitigation crew were able to have temporary repairs done within days so we could safely move back in the house until permanent repairs were completed. Once details were worked out with our insurance company, Vinny met with us and introduced us to the crew for the next phase, as well as went step-by-step through the process so we knew what to expect. Steve managed the process of repairs and the crew, kept us well informed and helped keep the entire process as stress free as possible, especially since I work from home several days a week. Frank and Steve were here alternately to meet with the inspector and ensure everything was up to par before the inspections. When I needed to ask a question, I would reach out to Corey at the office and she was always helpful and professional. The work was completed on schedule and we are very satisfied with the quality of the work. I would highly recommend True Restorations.

I live in Franklin Square and had a water leak in the wall of my home that was causing damage to parts of my house. I called True Restorations to come and help locate the leak and then contracted them to do the repairs. That was one of the best decisions I ever made. Starting from the initial call to them, right down to when the job was completed. The company owner, Frank, came on site and found the leak after plumbers spent over three hours looking for it. I was very anxious about what would happen next, this was my first claim ever. Frank was able to calm me down and explain the whole process of how the repairs were going to be done. His entire crew, starting with Louis immediately coming over, and I called on a Sunday, wanting to start work immediately. Then Vinny, the head coordinator, contacted me and planned the entire job and dealt with the insurance company. Once a date was established to start the work, Steve, the project manager, supervised the entire job until it was completed and I was satisfied. Hopefully, I will never need them again, but if I do, I would definitely choose them without hesitation.

True Restoration recently handled a flood issue in my mother’s basement. Her insurance company initially balked at paying the claim, but with the help of Dave advocating on her behalf, she was able to get the coverage she deserved. After the initial clean up, the job was passed to Steve in the construction division who coordinated all the repairs. They work with an excellent plumber, Mike , from All Shore Plumbing and they coordinate everything with them. My mother now has a beautiful new bathroom thanks to True Restoration. A shout out to Vinny, the owner, as well. True Restoration is a very professional company with excellent communication with their clients. Great experience got a bad situation. Unfortunately 2 weeks ago I went in the basement and found my carpet soaking wet. True restorations saved the day. They came to my house within an hr to review the damage and come up with a game plan. The next morning the guys came removed any damage carpet padding and set up dehumidifiers and fans. We want to give a big shout to True Restorations on a job well done. We had a drain pipe that broke between our upstairs and first floor bedrooms, because of the water damage sheet rock needed to be remove and replaced and entire room painted. In the first floor bathroom the entire tiled shower had to be removed and replaced along with a damaged window. Had a leak from the boiler which caused water damage everywhere. I had no clue what to do and I found TrueResorations from Google searching. Elias and his mitigation team from TrueResorations came to prevent further damage and begin drying everything out. They were great. Very quick and easy to work with and explained everything that I needed to do.At the end of the mitigation process we needed a company to handle the repairs.TrueResorations (Vincent) worked with my insurance to get all the money needed and then they began the repair process. Very glad to have an experienced person going to bat for me during this process.The repair process was handled by Stephen Navetta and his team. They were very communicative and did great work. It was a great experience and we even hired them to do a few extra projects around the house separate from repairing all the water damage.All in all, I'm very pleased with TrueResorations.Hopefully, I won't have any more leaks in the future --but if I do, I know who to call

I have never worked with a company who delivered more on what was promised than True Restoration. While on vacation last winter, a pip burst in our attic and destroyed our entire 4,000 SQFT house in Babylon, LI. True Restoration was called in and immediately took charge and set up demolition. They provided guidance above and beyond the emergency repairs.Over the course of the past 9 months, Peter Swanson and his crew (Elias, Louis, Lou, Rashon, Will, Dave, and Jesse) worked diligently to build back our home, and in time for our kids first day of school! We are located in Dix Hills, and had a leak from our hose connected to the freezer, causing significant damage to our kitchen and dining room floors, as well as the kitchen cabinets. We unfortunately had a leak that led to mold in our downstairs bathroom. Our first line of contact was Michelle, who could not have been nicer and more reassuring. She set us up with a team and let us know she was available for anything we needed. From the first minute we spoke with Vinny we felt at ease. He took us through the process of what was to come step by step and patiently answered our questions - sometimes multiple times over! He made himself available, even over the weekend, and was always happy to answer questions and explain things. When our insurance adjustor came he helped us articulate what the issues were which was extremely helpful and made the process painless. The four gentlemen that came and did the mold remediation and follow-up (Jesse, Dave, Will, John) were also courteous, respectful and helpful. Each day, I got a phone call at the beginning of the day letting me know exactly when they would be there to check the area. As the project was completed, Vinny was in touch and again, explained what next steps would be as far as contact with insurance was concerned.I cannot recommend this company and these employees enough. It's quite overwhelming to learn that you have mold in your house and the ease with which this was dealt with made the entire situation more bearable. We recently had a fire in our apartment complex causing smoke damage to our unit. Steve and the ENTIRE staff was amazing. From the first meeting with Steve I knew we were in good hands! Within an hour of the initial phone call Steve and I had an appointment set up! Steve even took the time to come back and meet with the insurance adjuster ! At no point did I ever question the status on anything! We were informed the entire time through emails, phone calls, and text messages as to the process of the remediation. They worked diligently and advocated for my self and family with the insurance company and property management to restore my unit safely back to us! Every detail was covered. We had a pipe burst in late May. We called our insurance company, they recommended True Restorations. From the minute we contacted TR they were responsive and professional. The flooding conditions and damage required immediate action. We worked with David the PM and remediation specialist who mobilized his team. The crew arrived to remove any damaged materials (carpet, drywall, molding) and set up dehumidifiers and fans. They ran the equipment and monitored the conditions until levels no longer posed a danger.The insurance company worked at a much slower pace. This review is about True Restorations. The partners Frank, Lou and Vinny stayed worked with us following up regularly. We never had to initiate. I make a living in the construction industry, they were always one step ahead.Steve is the construction coordinator. He was involved well before the insurance company got the paperwork and approval submitted. Steve and his partner Elias kept us posted and assisted with coordinating the work anticipating approvals. While the partners and office staff maintained communications with the insurance company, Steve issued the construction contract staying within the anticipated approved scope. Once we received full approval including a supplement, Steve took charge. He had a crew at our house within three days. They arrived in a coordinated effort well prepared to execute the work. I had an excellent experience working with the True Restorations team after a loss from a water pipe burst at my home in Centerport, NY.The office dealt with the insurance company directly and quickly got the mitigation and repair work approved by the insurance company. They created a detailed repair estimate and worked with our adjuster to ensure every damaged area in the house was covered.Dave, Ray and Wilmer from the mitigation crew did the necessary demolition work and dried the space quickly. They were clean and set up barriers to ensure dust didn't get all over the house.The Reconstruction crew lead by Vinny was excellent. Vinny set up clear expectations and performed the repair work without any delays. Wilmer and Lou did an amazing job with the overall craftsmanship. From start to finish my crew was great! We had a pipe burst and flood my basement. Compassionate, professional, clean. Their crews were all great. The first crew got a plumber over asap to stop the leak ( 9pm on a Friday night). They pumped out all the water...cleared out the space , carefully wrapped and stored my belongings, Steve and Ray came and repaired the basement beautifully , cleaning crew came back sanitized the floors and brought everything back. I had a leaking toilet that created a substantial water loss in Lake Grove. Sheet rock, insulation, and wood studs needed to be removed and replaced. Vinny and Rashon were absolutely fantastic in assisting with the process. They were professional, truly cared about the mold mitigation and reconstruction of my home to the way it was.
