It was 12/20/23 and the rain started leaking through our roof. Sami came the same day to look at the damage and identified all the issues we are having and would have if a snow storm hit. His crew worked from 12/21 through 12/23 and replaced our roof and corrected some other concerning issues. The team was very professional and most of all Sami was onsite and walked me through the process. I highly recommend using their service for other projects. Thank you for helping us to avoid further issues.

I am very happy with this company. Genti and the crew were professional, always on time, cleaned up efficiently, and made sure I was satisfied with the work at the end of each day. I added other projects because of the great experience I had with the first one they completed. It seems like there's nothing they can't do well. There were clear contracts and warranties for each job. Having had some very bad experiences in the past with contractors over 30 years, including the most recent one that I had to fire due to incompetence and overcharging after the jobs were done, Official Construction was a breath of fresh air. I intend to hire them for future home improvements next year. I recommend them highly.

Sami and his team at official construction were beyond great. I was very stressed about issues at my house and they did EVERYTHING correctly. First, they responded to my call right away, they came the same day (and at the time we agreed) gave me a very fair estimate and answered the million questions I had. They also wrote everything down clearly on the estimate and took their time to make sure I understood what was going on. Sami went above and beyond and I really can’t recommend him enough. They did a great job at my house. I’ll only be calling official construction to deal with any issues I have with my house. I watched this company from start to finish on my neighbor’s house.They replaced a roof and did so much work on this house.This company and the crew were very respectful to my property as they worked.. They conduct business unprofessionally. Promised to come and perform the job and then cancel twice. Both times they did not call and I had to call them. I cleared my entire weekend for this repair.Then on the third day one of the worker showed up and he was clueless as to what needed to be done and gave me a terrible attitude. They were not doing this for free and the job only took 30 minutes.I found them on Angi's list and would never recommend them. We had a bad leak develop in our recently purchased home. I contacted Official Construction and they responded with an on-site estimate the next morning. They were able to dispatch a crew the next day and did a thorough 1/2 roof replacement including rotted wood replacement for a fair price.They did an excellent cleanup afterwards. I will use them again and do recommend their service.

Hired this outfit to inspect and recommend repair of roof. The person who cleaned my gutters mentioned there was an area that he thought the roof needed patching.After putting my info in Angie's list this was the first company to call, seeing how they had good reviews I said ok .Friday: Frank comes , gives me a written recommendation and estimate of 1200 dollars to remove and replace a section of roof from gutter to peak as well as the gutter fascia. I say ok, next day Genti comes with a worker, does 1/3 of the section recommended the day before and doesnt do the fascia. Still wants the same money for much less work than their estimate called for . He then goes on to recommend I replace a different section of roof for another 1400. I let him know right away I thought this was a ripoff, since no mention of this the day before. He goes on to say that Frank, the man who did the estimate the day before is "only the manager but he is the owner" . So I asked , if he doesn't know what he's doing why are you having him inspect roofs and give estimates? He then offered me 100 dollars off and he could save me the tax if I paid cash. I told him no good. He then offered to come Monday and do the other repair for "free" (turns out that was the repair I actually needed) I told him not to. I didn't trust him at this point. I did get another company ( a real licensed and insured one) to do the repair for which they charged 400. (The 2nd outfit also said the repair official construction did should have only been about 400, which makes sense since they only worked for maybe an hour)Since I felt this was a ripoff I contacted Nassau County department of consumer Affairs and provided all my documentation. They informed me he is not licensed in Nassau county (I checked Suffolk, he is licensed there) .So Nassau DCA issued him a violation to which he has not responded.My advice.....stay away from this company.
