Greg Jenkins Builders built our very custom mountain home to our personal specifications and using a building design we created. As luck would have it, our project timeline began right in the middle of a national pandemic. Greg worked with us through a very difficult national supply chain and inflationary period that we had not accounted for at the onset of this project. We made several design changes throughout the construction project in an effort to maintain a budget we could still afford, amidst substantial rising costs of building materials. Even with building material delays, Greg and his crew managed to keep the project moving forward in a professional and timely manner. Greg is an amazingly talented builder and general contractor. He’s also a skilled carpenter, so his building and finishing standards are exceptionally high. Greg built two custom homes for me and it was a wonderful experience from day one. Greg is very professional and trustworthy and he works well with everyone on the job site. Greg’s suppliers are always responsive so acquiring materials was rarely an issue. I highly recommend Greg. Gregory Jenkins Builders has far exceeded our expectations. They are building a new home for us. Their attention to detail has been exceptional. We live out of state and though this may be a difficult project but Greg and his crew have made it very easy. We get constant updates and photos. Greg is very detail oriented and that is why we chose him. If something doesn't look right or he thinks we need to make a modification he lets us know promptly. We come up with a solution and continue on. This attention to detail has made our home amazing. When we show up to look at it we are always amazed with the progress and detail. I was referred to Greg's company and a couple others by our realtor who helped us purchase our cabin. Greg was the first contractor I met with, and after our initial meeting I knew I didn't have to look any further. Normally you are told to interview multiple contractors and get multiple bids, so this goes against that thought process, but I am a pretty good judge of character and just had a gut feeling that he was the right man for our renovation. I am happy to say my instincts were correct.Greg was upfront with everything at the beginning of the process, and didn't try to lowball the job and then follow up with a bunch of change orders like some contractors do. He told me what he thought and we agreed on the contract terms that worked for both of us. He is a man of his word.When he said he was going to be on the job site, he showed up. If he couldn't make it on a particular day, he let me know. The professionalism of Greg, his crew, and the subcontractors was excellent, as was the quality of the work done by all of them. Greg is one of the nicest guys you will meet, as are the crew and the subs. It was also very easy to talk through things with Greg and bring up suggestions I may have had on a different way to address a particular task that needed to be done. He is very easy to talk to and receptive to ideas.Greg takes pride in his work and his reputation and he tries to instill that in his crew and subs. Every day before leaving, Greg was also the one sweeping up the job site and organizing materials, throwing debris in the dumpster, etc., in order to leave the place clean, which I take as a sign of respect for the homeowner.We did not have a new home built, we had an existing cabin that needed renovations. There were many challenges that popped up during the renovation, and Greg took them on like a champ. He helped turn the vision for our cabin that was in my head into reality and we could not be happier with the finished product.
