I successfully used High Top Roofing for two projects recently. Evan and Earl worked hard and did a great job despite the Charlotte heat. They replaced damaged shingles, gutter, drip edge and repaired a hole in the attic. It was obvious to me they were experienced roofers. And, I so appreciated their professional standards when it came to contact with their office manager, Paula. She called me (by phone!) to schedule visits, remind me of dates and times, let me know they were on their way, which reassured me the jobs would be done. I highly recommend their company.

I became aware of High Top Roofing after meeting Evan Fremin who was working on a project for my neighbor who gave a great reference. Soon after, I discovered the need for roof repairs and corrections needed to my gutters and drainage after a recent storm. I checked High Top Roofing's website and then called the office. Paula quickly responded and Earl came out within a day or so to evaluate our needs. Earl assessed the problems immediately and actually showed me what was needed to be done which made perfect sense to me. They offered a detailed proposal which I accepted. The work was done by Earl and Evan within a short period of time. I was very pleased with their expertise, quality of work, and professionalism. High Top Roofing is the BEST! I had called other roofing companies and was recommended a new roof, High Top came out 2 days later and informed me it could be repaired without a full replacement. High Top Roofing is an AWESOME roofing company. This company is off the chart when it comes to professionalism and high quality work. I am completely satisfied with the workmanship that was done to my roof. We had storm damage which impacted the entire roof and about 75% of the ceilings in our home in Weddington. Earl was highly recommended to us and I was so glad I called. We had 5 roofing companies come out and provide estimates. We had a complex leak on our roof which in the end required 2 visits. Between the two visits I noticed 3 other unrelated small leaks. Earl was very prompt on the follow up visit and fixed everything as part of the original job. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. To find an honest roofing contractor that has the expertise, willingness and experience to make difficult roof repairs is very rare. I am happy to recommend High Top Roofing Company to any and everyone. They were highly referred by our Home Owners Insurance Company and once we called and spoke with their Office Manager Paula, I understood why.The owner Earl came out to meet us himself, estimate the damage and explain what he thought was necessary to repair the roof properly. His level of knowledge and expertise was apparent and we were immediately impressed.We scheduled and Earl came out to do the work himself as it was a tricky flat metal roof situation. As he was preparing to start, he discovered a huge hornet's nest buried underneath the siding and under the roof!He came out to the house 3 times, sprayed to kill the hornets and remove their nest. Each time they came back and rebuilt, making it impossible to start the roof project. Earl was even stung several times trying to take care of this all by himself.We finally had exterminators come out to permanently take care of this massive problem and High Top Roofing could start on the roof. He was able to start and complete the job in only 2 days and did a first class job. They were so flexible with their schedule to accommodate our needs.Not only did we find a professional roofing company, but we also feel like we made some good friends in the process. We hired High Top Roofing because they seemed honest and professional. Their impressions were correct! They showed up when they said they would through the entire process. The roof was done in two days once they started. The owner personally oversaw every detail of the process with good communication and follow up. They cleaned up the nails and all debris, didn’t damage any of my plants, and followed up to make sure we were satisfied. The price was fair through obvious years and experience. They are licensed and insured. I recommend them if you want a professional job done right. There is something to be said for an owner who takes pride in his company. Nice experience.
