We are so thankful for Reilly painting and contracting. They assisted us with the point of sale tasks from the city including exterior trim and front door painting, exterior painting of our railing and garage (and replacing needed carpentry), and leveling out front steps and walkway into our house. Not only was it quality work that looked great, but the turn around time for the project was phenomenal. Eric was specifically on our project who was responsive, kind and great at his job. We had a really great experience working with this company and highly recommend!

The beautiful rental was reasonably priced, and the Reilly team was readily available to answer all of my questions. The home was clean and well-appointed - exactly as advertised! I recently began a three-month work internship here in Cleveland, and my company found corporate housing through Reilly Properties. My experience so far has been awesome. Megan and Lindsey are very pleasant to deal with and they have made sure I had everything I needed when I arrived.They promptly communicate with me every time I had a question or concern. Anything that needed to get fixed or added to the home has been handled the SAME DAY I bring it up.It's been like the service of a hotel, but with the comfort and feel of your own home. I hired Reilly Properties to repair and manage my Cleveland Heights rental property. Overall I've had a superb experience with their services. They fixed up my property and made it rent worthy for a reasonable price. They also offered me different rental models besides the traditional 1-year lease offered by most property managers. I opted to go with the short-term rental option and so far, I am impressed by their results. As an out-of-state investor, I am glad that I found a team that I can trust to manage my property. I highly recommend their services for both individuals looking to rent a home and for investors looking for property management and maintenance.

I hope that no one else has to go through the complete and utter mess that we had to when we trusted Reilly to refinish our 90-year old original hardwood floors. To summarize: The owner said they could sand and refinish floors. They attempted to, and it quickly became apparent that the people they put on the job had no idea what they were doing, they were using the completely wrong equipment (as verified by 2 other actual professional wood floor refinishers that came to view their "work"), a quick Google search showed that floors that looked a lot worse than ours could easily be made to look like new by people who knew what they were doing (they tried to convince me twice that this was "as good as these floors can look"). We asked them to stop and attempt a fair negotiation of payment for the work considering we had to bring in another contractor to actually refinish the floors. They stubbornly, unprofessionally, and aggravatingly do not even attempt a good faith negotiation with us and instead they slap a lien on our house without properly notifying us. Three years later we have to deal with their lawyer to get it removed (it cost us a lot, and he was a jerk) to be able to complete a refinance on our house. On the bright side, the delay in refinancing our house meant we got an even better interest rate, so it worked out in our favor (sort of) in the end. Even though we had to pay them to ruin our floors, we have moved on. We just hope no one else has to go through this with them. If you ever get a lien put on your house by an unscrupulous contractor, find me, I know what to do now. The laws are written in favor of the contractors in Ohio, but I found some good resources (a little too late to help us) throughout this process.Services: General repairs, Repair flooring, Flooring

We spent the past 2.5 years in a Reilly Property in the Forest Hill Historic District. We moved into it sight unseen from Minneapolis, MN. The staff at Reilly did everything they could to answer our questions and comfort our fears prior to our move. The Video walk-through they posted went a long way toward giving us assurances that we were moving into a very clean and well appointed space. To be honest, I was worried that "Historic" was just a euphemism for "old", but I could not have been more wrong. Everyone who visited us in our home would remark at how beautiful it was.Reilly had purchased a historic home that needed quite a bit of TLC to restore it to original condition. They intended to finish renovations in the winter and allow occupancy in the spring, but because I had to start my new job in January, they allowed us to move in early. For the things that needed attention, the Reilly staff were always courteous and at our home quickly; and everything was fixed to OUR satisfaction. Furthermore, during the Central AC installation that first summer, Reilly installed additional AC vents in the rooms where WE wanted them. I don't know any rental company that would allow a renter to influence the installation of a capital improvement like Central Air Conditioning.Property owners should rest easy if there is a Reilly Rental in their neighborhood.

They were able to answer every question and make me feel both comfortable and confident in my rental choice. I contacted Reilly Painting to address several city inspection issues: scraping and painting the garage and cleaning off its roof; scraping and painting all windows and the front entrance; staining the back stairs; tuck-pointing the chimney. It was a lot of work, but everything was done beautifully and professionally. Brook Reilly supervised the work, and the crew were outstanding. We added new (and needed) window caulking to all the windows, and Brook put up a much needed solar exterior light for me.I felt completely comfortable leaving for work, knowing the house--inside and out---was in good hands. I've used Reilly Painting before. Their work isn't cheap, but it is quality. Brook was a pleasure to work with, too. I'd recommend them without question.

Awful experience with the estimate process. Guessing these good reviews (part of what attracted me to this company) are friends/family OR simply big jobs that maybe they approach differently. I had a small roof repair that I just got done by another company, and also wanted a full roof job estimate and full exterior paint estimate as well.The small roof patch estimate was over 2x what 2 other companies quoted me as. The roofing company that I hired just left and it took them less than 45 minutes to do the entire repair; Reilly estimated it at over $500!!! Complete gouge, and anyone semi-handy would know that is way too high. Also, instead of talking about any painting estimate, the estimator simply recommended that I get siding even though that's not what I asked for. Promised me an email follow-up detailed estimate for the repair, full roof repair when he left....NEVER sent it. I had said that his estimate was high and that I would be contacting others, but I definitely didn't dismiss the service all together and he never gave me contact information or got back with me at all regarding the estimate. He wasn't full-on rude, but I felt he could care less about my issues, and if he was someone I was employing I would definitely let him go.I have tens of thousands of dollars of work to be done in the next 12-18 months, and I have quickly crossed this company off my list. The first impression couldn't have went worse. Highly recommend looking elsewhere.

I'm a current tenant at one of Reilly Painting and Contracting's properties in Cleveland Heights. The staff at Reilly has always been extremely helpful, friendly, and prompt. If ever my roommate and I have a problem in the house, someone from Reilly is over within an hour or two to fix it. The house we rent is in great shape, in a great neighborhood, and at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend visiting their website and renting from Reilly above many other companies I've rented from in the area.

I recently rented a property from Reilly Properties and was thrilled by the ease of the renting process. The house in Cleveland Heights was very cozy and clean, and was located in a fabulous neighborhood close to University Circle, which is where I work. When I needed something fixed, they were very accommodating and repaired any damages in a timely manner. My husband and I have hired Reilly Painting and Contracting to do a lot of things for us. I agree that they can be kind of pricey, but we have never had any issues with the quality of their work. They have done a lot of remodel, painting and exterior work on our house over many years and we have had good experiences. They have a large team of people working for them and they coordinate everything. They also come back if there is an issue. They only usually are interested in larger jobs, so if you have a tiny job, they are not handyman types. You need to wrap that into a larger job or hire a handiman. This is true for most of the contractors.

Reilly did several jobs for us, large and small, over the summer on our condominium in a 1918 Cleveland Heights building. These included drywall repair, painting, carpentry, and electrical work. The biggest job was ripping out the rotted flooring and joists on our porch, and installing new Trex flooring. They were very good about keeping us informed about the projects along the way by phone and email. They cleaned up every day, gave us suggestions to save money, and the work completed is beautiful. While I was not personally present while they were working, our landscaper and others were and told me that they were working hard the whole time they were here, not slacking or wasting time. The price was reasonable and well worth it for the final result. I have recommended them to the condo association for some other jobs and will plan to use them again in the future.

My roommate and I have been renting from RPC since late May and have had a great experience so far! The house was exactly what we were looking for and we were able to move in quickly. The house is in great shape and whenever we have needed repairs done, they are done quickly and efficiently- often the same day. Everyone in the office seems very friendly and knowledgable as well. I would definitely recommend renting from Reilly Painting and Contracting!

I had them do both interior and exterior work. The exterior work included reglazing and painting old windows. The glazing was mediocre, the painting was okay. They didn't spend much time washing the windows prior to the work. They were supposed to paint an exterior storm door the color of the windows. Instead they painted it the same color as the stoop which they also painted. When I brought it to their attention they gave me $75 off instead of painting it properly. Inside, same thing, little wall prep before painting then just one coat. I pointed out problems with the paint not covering the underlying color. They addressed it by spot painting where there were issues. They did do a nice job hanging a new front door storm door. Overall my wife and I felt we painted as well, or better, than they did. Certainly not as sloppy, but they were fast.

Talk about thorough and getting the best service for your money!!! Not only did Eric and his workers paint the front of my house, but also painted rooms inside, trimmed tree branches, cleaned up brush piles, and landscaped around my home. Paid for gutter cleaning for gutters that were 2 years old, . Saw evidence of a repair we asked for but not the cleaning. 2 weeks later same problem had to pay for a revisit. Second visit we were home. No one knocked or announced themselves said the work was done. After this last heavy rain I still have a blocked gutter. I have no idea how they flushed the gutter without any one hearing them on the visit. I paid in good faith but I am not satisfied !

Terrible, terrible experience. Not reliable. They left parts of frontal siding unpainted. After a second call they returned and finished on some of them, but still did not complete the job. I gave up. Later, after bees invaded the sides of the wood, I made a third call. They came back out and were quite nasty, indicating that it was somehow my fault???
