Had a punch out list to finish out the job when they asked for final payment before that was done. Figured with the reputation this company has it was no big deal paying before final punch out was complete.That was 10 months ago and the owner himself hasn't been responding to my messages with a timeframe for completion. Look elsewhere for a metal roof so you aren't caught in the situation I find myself in.

This company is outstanding. There was a minor issue with installation and Scott the project manager and one of the installers were immediately on top of it. They both went the extra mile as too send me pictures to show me that the issue had been resolved as I could not take off work during the installation of my metal roof. I would highly recommend this company. I will be writing another review after my gutter and fascia boards are replaced.

We are very happy with our new roof and we feel like the company went above and beyond to make us happy! We got a little discouraged during the process with a lack of communication between the sales representative, the people that make the deliveries of materials, the people that do the installation and the people that work in the office. To be fair-- it is a lot of groups to keep organized and on the same page. It all turned out well in the end and we feel like it was a good experience overall. The metal roof is beautiful and the installers did an amazing job. The company really does try to do whatever they can to make the customer happy- which we truly appreciated. Worked with The Metal Roof Company to install both a metal roof and siding on a 70 year old house and it was a great experience.Adam, the project manager, responded quickly to any and all questions/concerns during the project - both my wife and I were very happy.Roof took a week or so to install - only 2 workers, while the siding was complete in 2 days. Clean-up from both crews was very good in the end.Would easily recommend.

We had a bad experience with this company that we would like to share with other potential customers. The Metal Roof Company has blocked my husband and I from being able to leave a review on their Facebook page and I suspect this review will be flagged by them too. The owner, Dan Toland, is identifying dissatisfied customers on social media and blocking them before they are able to leave a review. They are misleading their rating by blocking and disputing bad reviews from being seen by the public. We've left several messages, emails etc. over the last several months to mediate the concerns we had with our roof installation, all with no response. I have a 6 min recorded phone call with the owner admitting he's blocked us and threatening us with a lawyer and a lien on our home. We are withholding our final payment until he allows us to leave our honest review. The Metal Roof Company's response to our concerns trump any physical problem we had with our roof. I highly recommend looking for a different contractor based on ethics alone. Our roof is leaking, we have mold formulating on our ceiling and there was work left unfinished and it all could have been mitigated months ago --with a positive review showcasing their willingness to satisfy their customers needs-- but their lack of customer service skills has completely derailed any possibility of a positive review from us. You can fix physical problems, you cannot fix a company's ethics. We would really appreciate if this review is posted to Google for other prospective customers to see. I recently met with Dan to discuss the options of metal roofing on my home in need of a new roof. Although we will most likely not end up choosing a metal roof due to the cost, Dan was extremely professional and knowledgeable and took the time to engage and educate me on metal roofing systems as well as some issues specific to my home that other roofing companies have not pointed out yet.I wish the cost was more reasonable, but I recommend Dan and his company without reservation if you are considering a metal roof.

Professional team effort. Ramone is an expert metal technician who installed standing seam on our home and garage. He worked tirelessly in the heat over a holiday weekend. He even took care of some bees in our backyard. We were impressed with his metal skills, experience and customer service. Our gutters were completed by RJ and Jeff. They also assisted us with installing our rain chains in place of downspouts. Scott was a project lead and quality assurance. He was very professional. Very mixed feelings about this company. We wanted a metal roof and the sales guy was very much old school car salesman.... "I can't believe my boss agreed to reduce it that much!". I feel like I got a good deal, but I don't enjoy haggling with sales people.The installation was great. The workers worked hard, were polite and professional, and cleaned up after themselves well. I was pleased with the end product.Problems started when our living room ceiling started leaking. There is an attic about the roof and water was getting into the attic somehow - with no pipes anywhere to be seen. I guessed it was coming in from where one section of roof connected to another section. I called the Metal Roof Company and the person I spoke to said that they would send someone out to look. After a few days I called back and was told that the person who was supposed to stop by had been unable to, but would come in the next day or two. After a few more days I called asking what was going on - and someone else told me that a repair guy was supposed to have done the work. I probably left 2 more voicemails and wrote 2 emails to the company asking if the work had been done. They never responded. I think they probably did the work (no more water getting in) but I don't know for sure. If there was a major problem with the roof I fear that I would have to threaten them with lawyers to get a professional response.I wouldn't use them again despite my initial happiness with my new roof. I value customer service and they don't seem to.Service: Roof installation
