The installation was well documented, with all pictures of the installed guards and videos of water flow in all gutters provided after completion. I'm more than happy to not have to clean out my gutters anymore.

We had the exterior of our home painted by Alpha One. They use a painting sub-contractor who did a great job. We're happy with the finished product.Unfortunately, Alpha One WAY overestimated the amount of paint needed. The Sherwin Williams top of the line paint we purchased is $100 a gallon. We were told the job required 12 gallons. This turned out to be 6 gallons more than what was needed.Everyone we dealt with at Alpha One was very nice, responsive, and professional, but we're disappointed we spent $600 we didn't need to. That's a significant amount of wasted money!Sherwin Williams understandably won't accept a paint return, and Alpha One has no interest in purchasing the extra paint from us for another job, and aren't willing to discount the cost of our job.So if you choose to use Alpha One for a painting project - be sure to get more than one quote and compare the amount of paint estimated in all quotes.We wouldn't be out $600 if we had gone with the other quote we received from a different, reputable paint contractor.Service: Exterior painting

Tearoff of old roof including wood shake. New roof including decking installed. Also metal trim installation on gables. Since the house was built in 1915 some issues arose which they dealt with well. I found Jason, my initial contact to be honest and straight forward unlike the rep from a national roofer. He was helpful and patient with my many questions. I found Jarrod to also be helpful, patient and responsive. The crew did a great job of cleanup. There has been a lot of rain since the roof installation with no leaks.Service: Roof installation

I had the wood fascia, eaves and dental moulding of my historic house painted, some rotted wood replaced and new gutters installed. Quality of work is great, interactions with paint crew, gutter crew and carpentry crew was all professional and courteous. Project manager James made sure everything was being completed to my satisfaction, was easy to work with and took it upon himself to do some touch up work that was needed. I would definitely give Alpha One exteriors five stars. I called first thing this morning and had service this afternoon. Both gentlemen including Richard Motter, were very conscientious and texted me when they were on the way letting me know that they were running a little bit behind. On an extremely cold , windy evening anyone could have canceled and rescheduled. But they came right before dark and fixed my siding so my HOA would be happy! Both very great guys and professional, I will definitely call them again for any needs and ask for Richard!

Met a guy named Richard Motter and through conversation, learned he worked with Alpha One Exteriors. He told me they did roofing, deck work, gutters, paint, and fencing. Richard was very professional and gave my wife and I a free quote. As soon as we decide on what fencing materials we will be using, we will be going through Alpha One. Call this company for anything for the outside of your home and ask for Rich! You will not regret it. He always has a smile on his face!

I had Jared and Mason come out for a estimate to paint my deck ,shed and bay window area. They were very knowledgeable and I got my estimate in a timely manner. I worked with Mason to fine-tune the estimate and throughout the rest of the project. He was amazing! I truly appreciated his professionalism and in the end I was happy with the work completed.

I would HIGHLY recommend Alpha One for any exterior needs. We had an issue with water leaking into our basement from the back door of our house. Jarrod came out to give us an estimate and figure out what was causing the issue. He was not like the first company who came out, took a quick peak, and told us we needed to replace all the siding on our house. Jarrod was able to find out exactly what the issue was, saving us $30K. He explained all our options.Scheduling the work was simple and quick. Kiersten was friendly and worked with our schedule to get us the best available time. She communicated with to let us know when to expect the contractor, which helps with 3 little kids.Jacob, the contractor, was professional and explained everything he was going to do and why. He made sure that everything was done right and looked good. Once he was done, he cleaned up any messes that were made, making it look like he was never even there.We will definitely be doing business with them again once we need to replace our siding. Their prices were fair and service was top notch.

I had AlphaOne Exteriors complete a free roof inspection. They were extremely thorough and provided a full report including photos and notes on the condition of my roofing system. There was no damage found, and I was pleasantly surprised that they did not attempt to push unneeded repairs/replacements like previous companies have. First of all, I want to say that Alpha One was able to paint the trim on my 1913 brick house on the side that is located very close to the house next door. I applaud them for being able to do this. However the quality of the painting overall left something to be desired. it wasn't terrible, it just wasn't very good. They failed to scrape the original paint adequately before spraying the new paint, resulting in areas that I fear are gong to start peeling before they should.I was quite upset over the handling of my painting contract. It turned out that the window trim was not included in the original contract. This was a huge surprise to me. i never heard of painting the exterior trim on a house and not painting the badly peeling window trim. This was my fault i guess, as i apparently did not know how to read a painting contract. The estimate said in bold letters "Do not paint the brick, foundation or doors." It did not say "Do not paint the windows" It just never occurred to me that they weren't planning on painting the window trim as part of the overall job as they had been told to paint everything that was originally painted.So in the end they drew up a separate contract for painting the windows. They told me they were giving me a discount on the window painting because of the misunderstanding that occurred but i have trouble believing this as the price they did charge was very high given the small amount of painting required for each window.If you are considering this company for your painting needsI would be very careful before signing any contract without perusing it carefully for the smallest details. I suggest you consider other painting companies. I definitely don't recommend Alpha One Exteriors.Service: Exterior painting

I would recommend AlphaOne.I had several quotes for repairing my wood siding and painting it. Other companies tried to get me to replace all of my siding, or big sections of it, telling me that was the only way. We originally had them come to do an inspection. They came through our neighborhood and knocked on our door. I'm terrible with forgetting names but the young man was very polite and very professional. He helped us set up an appointment and said his superior would come by at specified time. He came and announced himself (his name was Mason)and went onto roof. Took many pictures. Drew an arrow so we could see the couple of hiccups we had and showed us the flashing around chimney that had become uncaulked. He sent report, to include all pictures and said our roof looked good and that short of natural disaster, the roof had another 10 to 13 years. I made an appointment for them to fix. Did it the very day I made appointment. AlphaOne Exteriors went above and beyond. Not only will I use them in future but will highly recommend. Also gave them 5 stars.Service: Roof inspection

I know my input regarding an outdoor job, I hired alphaone exteriors to build an outdoor deck for my home in Dayton OH. So, let's just get down to the facts. As a consumer I of course did my research prior to hiring alphaone. I met with one of the employees, Jason. He of course showed up on time and was very pleasant during the interview for the job.Jason, had assured me that Alphaone have been doing all sorts of residential work. However, my concerns were regarding the work I wanted to hire for. I asked the differences on the decking product and prices if they were to offer their decking material and if I were to provide the materials.I was given a quote on the cost of labor and materials and it of course was much higher than I thought. However I asked, for a quote if they were to be able to work just the labor cost and was provided a quote which was semi-reasonable for just the labor. I made it clear prior to the work. It was to be a composite deck to be installed simply due to the quality of material being very low maintenance and Alphapone assured me that they are very familiar with composite.Also stated that they have worked with composite decking previously and can produce a great quality of work. I have uploaded photos for the quality of work produced by Alphaone for the work done by them. As you can see much of the installation was done very poorly. I have seen composite decks on homes before. I have never seen, visible screws installed on composite decks. As you can see much of the boards also were not tightly installed.Holes where screws where to be were left empty edging on deck were not aligned properly nor was it secured and sagging through out the entire deck, but again I have submitted photos for your your review. After bringing this to the attention of the owner "Jamie" of Alphaone I was told that their not familiar with the material they saw prior to starting the install nor have they ever worked with composite materials. It was also brought to my attention after work had already commenced that they have had any experience in working with composite material.This was a job, I had thoroughly shopped for, so for your safety please do your homework prior to hiring Alphaone Exteriors for any and all work or you home or business.

I wish I could leave a review of our experience with Alpha One Exteriors, but we'll never reach that point. The two reps who came to see our home were very prompt and professional, but we went almost 3 weeks without any follow up. I called and contacted the gentleman who'd visited, and followed up with multiple text messages. I had to call again to get a response, and that time he finally sent a quote -- but only partially, missing major portions of what we'd requested. I have followed up two more times through text messages and have had no further response. I've never had a company work this hard to NOT get my money, but if they don't want it, I'm happy to oblige. It looks like other reviewers have had good experiences, so I guess I just fell through the cracks.

This review could have gone up to 4 stars or higher except for how the completion of some projects concluded. We had a roof completely redone & they were fantastic at working through our insurance adjuster to get it paid foe. The roofing team was excellent as well! We also had our siding painted & new gutters installed. The team that completed this work was also excellent but the AlphaOne folks fell well short on communicating along the way on when folks would and would not be at our house. It’s all we asked was communication & the return reply was condescending in nature & unwarranted. The final crew removed rod iron supports to our front porch & installed wood beams in their place, thankfully, the crew leader from AlphaOne was very hands on, because the initial quality of work from the subcontracted team was subpar. The crew lead ensured they corrected the poor quality and the end result was great. Our only other complaint was lack of clean up after gutter removal & installation of the wood beams. Specifically, screws, nails & other material left for us to clean up (handfuls of nails, screws & metal brackets). We have children & dogs and didn’t want any of them stepping on these.
