Micah communication skills are horrible. Showed up on a Monday morning with no warning. I had no idea he was coming that day to do the work. I was leaving Monday after lunch for 2 days on a business trip.He told me his crew would need access to the inside of my home to set skylights. We worked out a plan to do one on Monday afternoon and the other two on Thursday morning. I was there at 2 pm, as planned, and they stared the 15 minute job around 3:15 PM. Put me in Cincinnati at rush hour. UGH!Returned home on Wednesday evening to find a mess in my living under the other two skylights they set while I was not home. I left a very nasty message on his voicemail that evening. Who wouldn't be completely upset thinking that complete strangers entered my home without my knowledge? After all, they had to have entry to set the skylights according to Micah on Monday morning.Thursday morning Micah showed up at my front door at 7:30 am complaining about the nasty voicemail. Took absolutely no responsibility and told me I was the problem. He also told me that they did not require entry to set the skylights. Why did I have to return home on Monday for you to set the skylight?Installed what appears to be a cracked skylight but no one wants to talk about that.Pictures are included and this review is dated in case the skylight leaks and causes another big mess.Not sure about the rest of this company, cause only a few speak English, but if Micah hands you a business card run away. Runa away fast.

Edit for owner's response:The owner's response reinforces all issues stated in my original review and proves that Enterprise is not concerned with their quality of work. Enterprise operates on the assumption that all customers will blindly trust them to complete the work correctly and in a professional manner, but their actions clearly prove that they cannot be trusted. A properly installed roof is the most important item on the exterior of your home to protect your possessions and loved ones, and trustworthy contractors are, unfortunately, few and far between.Take note of what Enterprise considers "inconsequential." I paid for a brand new roof to be installed correctly, by professionals, and without ANY defects, and that's not what I received. End of story.In addition, Enterprise added a note stating that they did not replace gutters, etc., which is true. The picture that I posted clearly shows that they could not be bothered to cut the drip edge to the correct length, pushing the gutter away from the fascia board. In an attempt to fix this, they (incorrectly) installed (3) gutter hangers, screwing them directly through the drip edge above.As stated in my original review, the 90% payment was issued within the invoice due date as requested by Enterprise. The statement that I delayed payment by two months is blatantly false, as further delays for the remaining 10% (also paid on time as requested), were only the result of Enterprise's inability to complete the work, and complete it correctly, in a timely manner.Original review:Very poor workmanship for such a large, "reputable" company, with zero accountability. Avoid Enterprise for any residential roofing services.After previous poor experiences with smaller roofing contractors, I hired Enterprise for a full roof replacement on a house I recently purchased. Based on past experiences, I made my expectations clear, and was sure to verify that certain tasks, such as properly cutting and sealing flashing into the mortar joints would be taken care of. All trust was lost on the first day of the install when I had to call out the salesman repeatedly as the roofers had started laying shingles before putting ice and water around the roof penetrations and chimney. I also paid extra for roof deck vents to be installed, but the roofers had no experience installing them, and completed all installs incorrectly.After finishing the work, there were multiple issues which the roofers and Enterprise had clearly thought I wouldn't notice. I agreed to pay 90% of the invoice with the remaining 10% to be paid once all issues were addressed. Enterprise did work with me to attempt to fix the issues, which I appreciated, but even after 5 return trips, all have not been fixed. When I provided them with additional pictures, they told me that the roof is fine and that they would pursue a lien against the house if I did not pay the remaining balance, despite the work not being completed per our contract. With that, I'm left with a damaged roof with multiple issues remaining, which Enterprise refuses to address.

Enterprise's roof inspector (Roy) came to our house, was on time, professional, and did a thorough inspection of our current roof and gutters. He came down from the roof, and scrupulously reviewed everything he found during his investigation. Our roof was in good shape and had several years left in it's useful life, but our gutters needed some repairs. We ended up only having the gutters replaced, and the process went very smoothly. The crew showed up on time, and were finished in just a couple hours. They left the area cleaner than they found it, and I couldn't be happier. Pricing was fair and complete. I was truly impressed by the fact that Roy didn't attempt to sell us any services we didn't actually need. They removed the side boards on the dormer plus the rotten roof foundation, rebuilt the dormer, removed the rotten roof boards and totally replaced it all plus 2 1/2 squares of shingles. From the initial inspection on the ground what was going to be a half day job turned into a two day job as the damage was quite severe. We are very happy with Enterprise, they explained what was needed and kept us informed as the job moved along. Enterprise did my roof in summer 2022. I've had pretty negative experiences over the breadth of my life with roofers, but this firm was the exception. Micah is a personable sales rep; Cesar and his crew (ask for them) are ridiculously hard-working and know their stuff; Jimmy is the go-to guy on roofing issues--a true expert. The proof that this is a worthwhile company: I had a post-installation issue weeks later, and they promptly followed up and responded. It turned out to be a truss issue, so I fixed it, but this is a company that you can trust (in a cut-throat and competitive business that has some questionable practices and many insurance settlement and storm-chasing firms).I recommend Enterprise without reservation.Service: Roof installation

Edit: Perhaps due in part to this review being posted, Enterprise installed the ridge vent yesterday (5/10/2021) and the damaged fascia was replaced this morning (5/11/2021). I do appreciate how quickly the issues were addressed.I hired Enterprise to do a complete tear off of my roof along with a new ridge vent. The ridge vent was not installed. I alerted my representative of this the evening of the install (5/5/2021) and was told it would be installed the next day. The next day the representative called and told me the needed materials were not in stock. Indicating to me they must not have been ordered with the rest of my materials (the ridge vent is listed on my estimate). On Friday, 5/7/2021, the representative called to tell me the materials were in and the vent would be installed the next day. No one showed up…Also, the fascia board above my garage was damaged the day of the install. I am assuming, as I did not see it actually happen, it was from the lift used to put the shingles on the roof. It is dented and has two dark blue marks easily visible from the street.I expected better workmanship and service from Enterprise.Service: Roof installation

Enterprise Roofing replaced our roof. The work was done well, the salesman was knowledgeable, and the clean-up was great. As issues came up, they were addressed quickly. Enterprise also repaired our soffit on our garage in the past and that was a good experience. I would recommend Enterprise to anyone looking for repair or replacement of their gutters, siding, or roof!

We had a great experience with Enterprise. Our home was built in 1922 and had three layers of shingles, including the original shake shingles at the bottom. The crew had to get all of that off the house and then re-sheet and re-roof. Project took three days but the finished job looks great, and the new gutters and downspouts make a huge difference (the old ones were leaking). We had three bids and while Enterprise was not the cheapest, we feel they were the best for the money. The crew cleaned up at the end of each day and when they left there was no damage to shrubs or plantings from all the debris.

Enterprise replaced our gutters and we couldn't be happier. Our old gutters were overflowing and causing water problems in our basement. Now our basement is dry, even after a heavy rain. Everyone I spoke with at the office was kind and knowledgable. The work was done quickly and the servicemen were great. I highly recommend Enterprise.

We just had the roofing shingles on our house replaced for the third time. The first roof lasted about 15 years. Rather than a complete tear off for the second roof, the contractor we hired put the new shingles over the old ones. Seemed ok as many people do that. Turns out, this was a big mistake because the shingles that were used were not supposed to be installed over existing shingles, according to the shingle manufacturer. After 8 years, we had a leak and some other problems, and the contractor was no longer in business. Further, shingle manufacturer was not helpful as the contractor was not on their “approved” list. To make a long story short, the installations of the two earlier roofs were not done properly. After doing some research on roofing (eg, shingles, warranties, attic ventilation, installation dos and dont’s, etc) and getting 3 estimates, we decided to have Enterprise Roofing do the job. It’s a family business that’s been in Dayton for a long time. As the job unfolded, which included removing both layers of shingles, replacing rotten roof decking and installing step flashing among other things, I learned how poorly the previous work had been done. Turns out that installation is a real big deal in roofing! Enterprise knows how to do it. That’s likely the reason they’ve been in business for as long as they have.
