Thought this place was a great place to work with have used them on windows roofing and gutters around 7 years ago replaced all the decking on my roof at the time.cost me 10k just to replace all the wood well had some storm damage in September 2023 so had to have my roof fixed we used a different contractor this time and found out they cut some corners and never installed the clips in between the boards which caused them to warp terribly where they couldn’t re shingle over it so had to replace again reach out to Mr Roof about it was told the project manager would come out the next day to look at it. Take really good pictures. That never happened called back next day again without a call sad I thought this company was a honest family company even referred two other people in my neighborhood who decided to use them on there roofs hopefully they done there roofs correctly. ** Well everyone see the response I got they don’t follow code or stand behind there work that was done incorrectly should have nothing to do with warranty or having my roof replaced by someone else as far as my rafters that is definitely a false statement to try to shift blame on something else so make your own decision but just know there just about taking your hard earned money and not standing behind there work no pride. Will definitely be getting in contact with the BBB and an attorney.

A longer review is on Facebook, but the short version is that the responsibility was put on me, the customer, to note any issues. The first day they came out, they damaged a portion of the rake board on one corner of the house (I was later informed the wood was in poor condition, but that was only after I had reached out to the project manager several times to fix it), and also bent a gutter we had not planned to replace. They did replace the gutter, but the section of rake board was an ongoing battle. Not to mention that I was never notified of damage that happened or issues they noted while they were up on the roof or near the gutters, it was only addressed when I reached out to ask about what they intended to do to correct their damage.When billing called regarding the second half of my payment, I raised these concerns and asked if someone could contact me to discuss. Weeks passed and this never happened. The next time I heard from them was from billing AND our salesman stating I was asking for work outside of the contract and threatening to send me to collections. I explained the situation and provided all photos and details, and suddenly the office called to schedule someone to look at it and do what they could. Not once did I receive any apology, nor did they take ownership of any mistake on their part. I’m glad we are selling this home so that I never have to deal with the company again as I have little faith in their willingness to address anything should a warranty issue occur.Services: Gutter installation, Roof installation

Mr Roof put a new top on my house 2 weeks ago and it was easier than I expected. Very little evidence of the construction was left behind. I did have a small issue with a gutter drain spout being dented and it was fixed the next day. Would definitely recomend.

After some damage to our siding from a recent storm, we decided to replace all of our siding. We obtained several bids, and Mr. Roof had good reviews, used quality materials, gave a competitive bid and could start within several weeks. Project was scheduled. We were then contacted; project was pushed back “due to weather”, and in all fairness we had had a lot of rain. Project rescheduled. Contacted again to push back project. Contact person confided that they had counted on an additional crew, that did not materialize. So, I took this to mean that too many jobs got booked. Rescheduled for the third time. Finally started 2 months late. Day 1: started at 11:30 AM. Day 2: started at 09:50AM, day 3: 10:35AM and day 4: 10:00AM. Originally told that it would take three days, but now, longer. Most projects we have done have 0800 starts.Now for the bad part. Came home from dinner to find multiple nails through the bedroom wall, that they were working on as we left for dinner. I spoke with project manager Kevin and his manager, Justin and I asked “just to be clear, nails through the walls are acceptable?" and both stated that per the contract, that is acceptable damage that they are not responsible for. They did offer to patch with drywall mud. Buyer beware.I will check with company policy, but workers smoked (on the job, not just on breaks) frequently. Poor cleanup on some days, with nails and cigarette butts on our back patio: yard was supposed to be cleaned daily. Gate to backyard was left open first 2 days, until we had to remind them to close it. We have a dog and we found this a real issue. Just had house painted and lots of dirty smudges on trim. Also, there was no consideration for our landscaping. Scrap thrown over plants and one Japanese maple was destroyed. Silicone caulk on multiple places on patio that required professional cleaning.I understand weather delays. Simple courtesy issues, and cleanup as promised, should not have to be addressed by the customer.In short, I would never use again!Photos enclosed.

Love Mr. Roof! I’ve used them for two things so far and am scheduled to get my house siding done and windows. They did both my roofs and gutter systems. the sales people are so wonderful. I used Mr Roof from cincinnati! Doug, Ryan and Salvador and his crew have done such a marvelous job on my home! I am very well pleased with their work and would recommend them to anyone who asked! They came in February 14th in the morning left in the evening when it got dark . came back February 15th finished the job which was a difficult one I thought anyway. Steep roof with multiple jut outs. They're clean up afterwards was fantastic! They used magnets to pick up the nails and everything was cleaned up more than what I had had expected. I even had some debris in the yard they cleaned up along with everything else. I give them an a+ and 100%. My name is Mike Marr. They were very careful not to damage the two trellises out front. Had some chimney repairs done in August and noticed that the tuck pointing I paid for was not completed. I called and told them and they said they would send someone out that weekend. They never showed. Told them they never showed and said they would be there Monday. Never showed again… called again. They said they would be here today. Guess what never showed. I’m in no rush to have this completed but if you’re going to tell someone you will be there then please be there.

tl;dr - Mr. Roof will abandon you as a customer, do poor work, not honor any credit you might receive for damage, and threaten you with collections, even if you pay. Overall, terrible follow up, and worse customer service.Update: Office Manager contacted me to resolve all outstanding issues. Wishing I dealt with her weeks ago...Full review: The gutter installers were mostly fine, but they did damage my property, and they had to rehang a section of gutter due to poor pitch. Decent guys, but not good work.The real problems with Mr. Roof are in the office. I will never do business with this company again. Due to the damage the installers caused, the project manager, Doug agreed to a $50 credit on my invoice. The credit was not issued, and Mr. Roof started threatening to place a lien on my property and send my account to collection - despite that they did not honor the credit, and did not invoice for the agreed upon amount. How is a customer supposed to pay if the amount Mr. Roof is invoicing for is not correct?Here's a timeline of the events on my account:06/12/2020 Pre sales consultation, and 50% down payment. 2-3 weeks promised.07/06/2020 I contact Cincinnati office to try and schedule the work, call back is promised07/13/2020 I contact Cincinnati office again trying to schedule the job, again a call back is promised07/14/2020 Mr Roof contacts me, and schedules the gutters to be installed on 07/22/2020.07/22/2020 Gutters installed, my property is damaged07/23/2020 Moderate rain, I've lived in Cincinnati all my life, and this is a normal summer rain (video included below). But the gutters are overflowing! They're one day old, how is this even possible? Well, the gutters were installed with no, and in some places, negative pitch, so they weren't draining toward the downspout. In one area, the fascia was pulled away from the roof. So I took video of the failing gutters, and my damaged property.07/24/2020 @ 13:00 Project Manager visits the property, reviews, and agrees a portion of the gutters need to be rehung, and a damaged light fixture credited. Agrees to rework and $50 invoice credit.07/24/2020 @ 13:23 I sent via iMessage photos and video of the damage to my property (a broken light fixture and LED flood lights) and rework (poor pitch, causing flooding and fascia damage) to PM.07/24/2020 @14:15 I was emailed an invoice that did not reflect the $50 credit. Amount invoiced was $724.05. Project Consultant was copied. I did not reply, nor remit payment at this time due to incorrect invoice.07/30/2020 The same installers visit again, and rehang the gutters, refasten the fascia. I replace the light fixture and LED lamps out of my pocket.NO CONTACT FOR MONTHS - no emails, no letters, no phone calls, no texts, nothing until:09/28/2020 Final demand letter is received by postal mail - STILL for the incorrect amount of $724.0509/29/2020 @ 08:41 I call into Mr. Roof Cincinnati Office and ask to speak to Office Manager, regarding the demand letter. I can't remember who I did speak to, it may have been a CSR -- I asked her to speak with PM and verify the $50 credit had been submitted.09/29/2020 @ 08:51 I text PM and asked him to verify the same09/29/2020 @ 08:55 I call into the Cincinnati office again to verify the conversation between PM and CSR had taken place, that my account was not being forwarded to collections, no lien was being placed on my property, and that an invoice for the correct amount was indeed being forwarded to me. I ask for a confirmation email after the call for my records. I get very positive feedback to that end - I'm going to get this invoice in a few minutes, I'm going to pay it, and we'll be done with this whole thing.Only I don't get an invoice for the correct amount - I don't get any invoice, I get no communication at all until:10/06/2020 @ 17:32 Corporate office emails threatening to send my account to collections - but at least I finally have an invoice that shows the credit was applied.Service: Gutter installation

We were in negotiations with another company going on 6 months. Needing a new roof, I contacted Mr. Roof and received a response the same day. Ryan came out (did an exceptional job) and within the span of a week and a half, wehad a new roof! The team that put on the roof was courteous and respected our landscaping and the area around the parameter. They cleaned up afterwards and even came out the following day to make sure everything looked right. And, most of all the roof looks great! I also appreciate the commitment and communication from the project manager, Cody. He was responsive and understanding with my questions. This was really a solid experience all around. My first interaction was with Victor on the sales and estimate part of the process. He did an excellent job reviewing the company details of Mr. Roof, the specs they follow when replacing a roof, the Mr. Roof warranty, and the material that would be used on the roof. Victor was professional, knew his information and was exceptional in getting back to me. I had an order for a shingle replacement, that turned into removing the gutters that turned into doing the gutters and Victor never missed a beat! The roof was scheduled very timely and it was a fairly large roof. Kevin called me the morning of the roof work and explained in detail what would occur and asked for questions and answered any questions I had. The crew did an excellent job replacing the roof and it was remarkable how well they did it in two days and left the job site in great shape. The crew leader asked if he could pull the trailer that would take all the shingles and material off the job site before doing it. The crew was respectful of the property and friendly. If I had a question and called Kevin, he picked up. Kevin was nothing short of amazing with his attentiveness! He always got back to me quickly and when having trouble getting a hold of Mr. Roof team to schedule the gutters, Kevin scheduled them for me! Kevin inspected the roof, attended to anything that may have been needed and answered all my questions and reiterated the Mr. Roof warranty. Kevin was super personable and a great asset to the process and very much appreciated! I originally called Mr. Roof back in August because I wanted a quote for getting my deck roof replaced. A coworker of mine had a great experience with Mr. Roof recently which is why I gave them a call. On his first visit, the estimator came out and mentioned to me that my main roof (not the deck roof) had hail damage and it may be worth filing a claim with my homeowner's insurance. I ended up filing a claim and my insurance company agreed that the entire roof needed to be replaced. I hadn't initially looked into my whole roof being replaced as it was only 10 years old. Once the claim was finished, I again had Mr. Roof back out to estimate the whole roof plus gutters. Every experience I had with the estimator was prompt, pleasant, and professional.Once the contract was signed, I paid the deposit and was put on the schedule. The Monday they were scheduled to do the roof replacement, they had to cancel because of rain. No problem. I rescheduled for two days later.I went to work the day of the roof replacement (Wednesday), but monitored periodically from my security cameras. The installers showed up around 8AM and quickly got to work. I received a call a little after noon from the project manager saying that they needed to replace more plywood than they initially estimated, which would cost me an additional $500. No problem.Around 3:30PM on the day of installation, I noticed my security cameras were offline, as well as the rest of my smarthome appliances. Either the internet or the power was out. With the power lines coming from the street onto the roof, I wondered if maybe they had hit the wires with a ladder or something. By 5:30, the power or internet was still out, so I texted the project manager asking what was up. No response. I didn't end up getting home until 8:30PM, and none of the lights in the front of the house worked. I found two breakers tripped in my panel, and after looking at the cameras, I noticed they had plugged in their air compressor to my porch outlet which tripped the breaker. I still hadn't heard anything from the project manager at this point. Once the power was back on, I noticed the garbage everywhere. The deck was covered in roofing debris, plastic, tar paper, and shingle granules. I went outside and noticed a Wendy's chili cup on the top of the roof that the installers had left for me. The deck roof was not finished, it just had the underlayment hanging over the edges.The next morning after reaching back out to the estimator, the project manager texted me back saying he was busy the night before and that he would send someone out to clean up the mess and that they had to wait for the gutters to be installed in order to finish the deck roof. They scheduled the gutter installation for Monday. Monday came and went and no one showed up. I called the main office Tuesday morning and they told me they would be out Tuesday to do the gutters.All Mr. Roof had to do was keep me, the homeowner, informed and they would get my recommendation. I think they should have told me that they tripped the breaker and would have to come back back the next day to finish up. I think they should have told me that they would have to wait to finish the deck roof until after the gutters were done. I think they should have told me Monday that they weren't going to be able to do the gutters until Tuesday. At this point, I would definitely not recommend Mr. Roof.

The entire process from the time our sales rep came to our home until the time the roof was installed was pretty smooth. The only issue is our sales rep told us we would get critter guards as part of the package and after the roof was installed they were not included. I was told they will be installed so I’m hoping they keep their word. They forgot to install my cricket at the chimney but promptly came back and installed it. The gutters are wonderful and the gutter crew did a great job! So overall we are happy.Services: Gutter installation, Roof installation

I am leaving 5 star review for many reasons: From the customer care (In-house Staff) from the initial phone call, the down to earth sales person that came to my home the contractor and a Super Project Manager. The Sales Person that had a no pressure sale approach while he took care of the phone to the insurance company, meeting with them at the job sight and the follow-up to keep me at ease and yes he showed up early for each appointment (Ryan Great Job). Time for the job. Had a couple of delays due to break down and weather but what was explained to me up front so it was not a surprise by the wonderful Mr. Roof in-house staff and project Manager. The Project Manager (Kevin) was amazing, (when you are dealing with a 120 year old house nothing ever go 100% smoothly and that's OK). Crew is hard at work stripping the old roof(s), PM arrives to check in with me and then up on the roof he goes to check in with the team inspect the job and progress. He came back again later that day as he had 3 or 4 jobs going on at the same time but somehow made me feel like I was the only customer he had. The following day after the job was completed he inspected my home like it was his and addressed my concerns and his own. Within 4 hrs. he had a team of 2 on sight to address his and my issues. Leak in ceiling..called Mr Roof, they came right out, Brick and morter was bad on chimney it needed rebuilt. They came right out and rebuilt it. While here I spoke to them about a window that wouldn't stay open, he fixed it right then. We have used them for a new roof, windows, siding, soffits, gutters and downspouts. Highly recommend. They stand behind their work...

I hate to leave bad reviews but this experience has been terrible. If I could leave no stars I would. From the start my sales person Kyle would not respond to me even after I called the main office several times. Finally I asked for a new sales person and Victor was able to get my roof scheduled and it was finally completed. Now I have a bill but they never came out to inspect the roof after completion as promised. I've contacted my new sales person and the office and nothing but crickets. I want to pay the bill but the job has not been completed and I've called their main office who then promised a call back and it's been over a week. Do not use this company. The amount of time I've had to wasted just simply due to lack of response has been ridiculous. Mr. Roof, you will get your money when you finish the job.Thank you for your very delayed response. I reached out to the main office and someone came last Tuesday and inspected. They were supposed to follow up with me last Wednesday. Still crickets.It's been two weeks. Still no one has contacted me.

Kevin from Mr. Roof was great when it came time to use our warranty for the first time! Came out within hours of our initial call to inspect what needed repaired, and then came back the next day to quickly repair the ripped shingle, and looked over the rest of the roof to make sure everything was in great shape. Just average, they have very questionable good reviews. I was expecting the 4.5 out of 5 service but they came up way short just to average service. The roof is great, but the lack of bidding a job correctly then having the excuse that the estimator was not as experienced as a person in the office. The senior foreman and the site forman not communicating properly alway with an excuse on way there work looked that the customer had concerns with. Leaving the job site after there final inspection with item not attached or the way the were previously before there contract work and the excuse that they don't know how or why there crew would do something like that. In short this is not a formal, this is my opinion about the customer service I received for my own personal experience with this company. Had a chance to get me on another roof project. But did the work for free. I like coming home from a long challenging day to a beautiful roof. Where to start!? I needed to replace a 30 year old roof. I'd heard about their service and had seen their great work! I got the color shingles I wanted and needed as part of a duplex. The job was done in a day. They worked to make sure I was pleased with the finished job. They assured me I could count on them to help with questions and any issues should there be any, in the future. I'm happy with Mr. Roof's finished product and my roof is very nice to look at. The day after I would have given 4 starts. Ryan was super easy to work with on the initial estimate and was timely in his responses. However once the contract was signed the customer service side dropped significantly.I called to make 1/2 payment upfront per contract and was told they would call to schedule replacement within 10 days. I had to call to check on things and ultimately we finally landed on a replacement date 3 weeks later which was fine. I was told I'd hear from the Project Manager before they began to run through any details but never heard from the PM. I called the office around 1pm that day to request to speak to PM to make sure an item or two in the contract would actually be done since they were not standard. In the end the items were taken care of but again I had to be the one to initiate the call.Work was completed in 1 day which was nice and hats off to the crew who worked their tails off all day to get it done. The crew however was an absolute mess during the day. My yard looked like a junkyard with trash, tools, debris, coolers, soda packs, food wrappers, you name it...all over the yard. They cleaned up mostly when finished but I had to grab a few smaller items they missed.Within a day after the replacement I had noticed my grass in the front lawn had burnt to a crisp. After seeing the shape of the burns it was obvious it was due to the hot black shingles (old ones ripped off in AM) sitting on the grass all day. I've since had to water twice weekly to get it to green up again since we're in the middle of summer. Also in the photo I attached is the amount of debris found in and around our landscaping. I was pulling weeds and happened to find all of this without actively looking for it.I confirmed the crew did not use a magnet in and around the landscaping so I requested someone comes back out to do so. So far they have missed both promises on when they'd be back to take care of this (writing this review over 3 weeks after replacement).A colleague at work was getting his roof done soon after me and I warned him about the debris and the burnt grass....he said his roofing company already addressed those items by saying they would throw debris over the driveway, pick up anything the yard before the heat of the day, and would go through the lawn with a magnet afterwards.

My experience with Mr Roof was fantastic. I read a lot of reviews before selecting Mr Roof, and I was a little skeptical when I saw so many positive reviews. I’m happy to say that I’m no longer surprised to see so many positive reviews. They really do a great job from start to finish. My house is on the market, so getting the work done quickly by a reputable company with a good, transferable warranty was important to me. They were able to fit me in their schedule right away, and I had a new roof in less than a week. Dave and his crew did a great job, and he checked in with me periodically to fill me in on their progress and make sure I was satisfied. I would highly recommend Mr Roof.
