I very highly recommend this company! We had a leak in our bedroom ceiling. I called on a Saturday, expecting to hear back on Monday. Not only did they come out the same day and do a fantastic job, they also didn't charge us because it was a quick job and they had all the materials with them. When we replace our entire roof in a few years, we will definitely be going with them.

Good price and warranty. The crew showed up at 8am and had old roof torn off and new roof on by 4pm. They were very professional and did a miraculous job! When they finished and left the property, you wouldn’t even known they were here. They cleaned up everything, even debris that wasn’t there’s. Follow up review…..disappointing responsiveness. In March, when shingles blew off after high winds, calls were made to JA to request repairs …. JA did arrive and repair work was completed. Was advised at that time new roof was needed. A few months later the new roof was installed on a Saturday….when I returned home on Sunday I was disappointed to find clean up wasn’t done and damage to my landscaping and property, I feel, was significant. After voicemails and texting with Joe….a crew was sent Monday to perform the clean up and he compensated me for landscaping damages…..that was in June. I’m still waiting for a new chimney cap and further discussion about my Generator damage…..no return calls or emails. Frustrating….lesson learned….don’t review or pay in full until you’re 100% satisfied.Services: Roof repair for storm & wind damage, Roof installation

Matt came out today and was fantastic. He inspected our roof and gave us a quote. He told us our roof has at least 5 more years before it will need to be replaced. We got the black sable shingles and they look outstanding. Every facet of working with J. Alexander and co. was excellent. Joe and Tristan were very helpful in answering questions and working out an itemized quote for the different options I wanted to consider. I had a great experience with J. Alexander Roofing. We were experiencing leaks in our house and they were able to pinpoint it. He was able to determine that it was storm damage and he got us scheduled in quickly to avoid more damage to the inside of our house. They had it done in a day and it looked amazing! They replaced all the previous vents, added ridge vents, and painted the other items on our roof so everything matched. It’s been about a year now and we still have no complaints. I would certainly recommend them.

Everything from the estimate, to the scheduling, to the installation, and cleanup were professional and quality work. The work was started and finished in one day and that included the cleanup. An employee even came by the day after to check the work, make sure the cleanup was completed, and if I had any questions. These guys were incredible! It's December and I had to replace my roof! It's 30 degrees and 11 guys show up at 8am and it's on! My roof wasn't easy since it had a steep pitch. That didn't bother them! Two days and 16 work hours.......DONE!!!! And, their clean-up was incredible too! Totally impressed. Call'em!!!!

Called to set up a time for them to see what the job would entail for my detached garage roof. Was told it would be a few weeks they had things pretty booked. So I waited a month or so and called back. We set up a date/time...they didn't show up. No call. I waited around 2 weeks then called them again. Got a different guy and he said he didn't see anything to do with me and would have to check with the other guys and get back to me. That was weeks ago. I don't get it. Glad they are busy enough to not care about my business though I guess. God bless.

The quote process was extremely professional with a video of the roof and explanation of any issues or repairs needed. The replacement of our roof took several weeks (including gutter and soffit/fascia work) with little communication of when work would be done. I also had to follow up with them about completing some smaller details that had not been taken care of as was agreed upon in the beginning of the process. Once the work was completed it seemed like a good job done- it has held up well for the past two years. When I contacted J. Alexander again for information on further repairs of other sections of our roof, I did not receive any response, even after two different messages. Communication is quite lacking with this company.
