They were so friendly & knowledgeable. They went above & beyond my expectations. I was given excellent customer service by these three individuals. Also (Val) is always so nice when scheduling and speaking to her. The crew did an excellent job installing my new roof, gutters and down spouts, and chimney. I was very impressed by their punctuality, efficiency and clean-up. Definitely an excellent, hard working crew! Protected everything in the landscape. Did not find one nail afterwards!!! Just recently had a roof and gutter/downspouts installed. Can not be more satisfied with the quality of the work. Zack was the point person who stopped out, listened to what I wanted, got up on my 25 year old roof to access it, then walked me through all my options based on what he observed. I didn’t end up going with all his suggestions, but it was helpful to get his professional opinion on what he saw up there over and above just the roof. Once they arrived, it was fascinating to watch these guys set up and get to work. It was like a well-oiled machine. They placed several 4’x8’ plywood sheets on my lawn before moving any equipment into place. Not necessary as the ground was dry, but still appreciated that this was standard procedure for Groover. Also leaned plywood sheets against the house as I was having a tear off done too. After which they hung tarps from the roof edges down to prevent debris from falling into shrub beds. They got to it and got it done, and made several walk arounds picking up any residual nails or small pieces of the old roof afterwards. After they left it’s was hard to tell that they had been there at all. Their pricing is not inexpensive, but it is competitive. And I think you really do get what you pay for. All in all a good experience for me and I would recommend considering this company for your project. Thanks.

Groover was absolutely amazing to work with. Rob (sales rep) was so friendly and personal, he helped every step of the way. Answered every question I had and was very patient and explained everything. The crew who did the roof were exceptional. Very polite and focused. Tim (roof foreman) and his crew were on time and let me know about anything that was going on. Even though there was one hiccup, they fixed it properly. Very happy with our new roof and could not of asked someone to do a better job! Val is also such a sweet heart whenever I called and kept me up to date as she knew anything.

Our experience started with the contact in the office which was very polite and professional and eager to please. Then we dealt with Shaun who inspected our roof and set everything up- he was amazing to deal with- friendly and trust worthy! On the day of the roof installation there aren’t enough compliments to say about the work ethic of each and every one of the installers. They worked all day and did not slow down. The Forman had everything organized and running so smooth it was amazing to watch. When they were finished, they cleaned everything up so well you can’t even tell anyone was here. If you are reading this review you are probably researching roofers, the decision is a difficult and important one. Having recently gone through the process, my husband and I decided to choose Groover Roofing because of the professional manner and attention to detail. Robert was very sensitive to our specific concerns as well as having a lot of greenery and natural growth close to the dwelling. As you can imagine we were very nervous when the day arrived. What a relief when the 14- man crew commanded by Kenny descended on our property. They delivered what was promised, protection of our home with tarps as well as coverage of those cherished plants. Even more impressive was the way the men worked as a team all efficient as a well-oiled machine. Kenny is very knowledgeable and was on top of every aspect of the roof and crew literally and figuratively. Over the weeks prior the communication with Val was much appreciated. You talk about hard working and respectful individuals. They had amazing equipment and materials, the clean- up was incredible, after they left you would never know they were there, we were left with the most beautiful roof! I've seen the AD's on TV where Groover states roofing - "when quality counts". I've heard this before from so many contractors, and when they show up average workmanship and cutting corners is the norm. This is not the case with Groover. They have a process, that provides all the essential elements you need for a quality roof, and then they deliver. From the salesman (Robert), to Nate and their installation team, to Val and Nancy at the office who were great, to Gutter installers, everyone you encounter is professional, and their customer service is excellent, and quality of workmanship is outstanding. I couldn't have been more happy with Groover Roofing. My roof had a lot of issues - I needed to have the chimney rebuilt and to have part of the roof itself rebuilt. They warned me in advanced of the potential issues they could come across once they removed the roof and they were very honest about the costs it could incur. They provided a mason & a master framer when issues arose and I was always confident of their expertise and commitment to doing the job right. They did the work quickly, communication was great, and everyone was very friendly and professional. Their price is a bit higher, but I feel it absolutely reflects the excellence of their work.

I had storm damage and Rob Ginocchi worked with my insurance company to get the funds to take care of our roof. He made the process much easier than I expected. He made a lot of phone calls to make this happen and I appreciate his efforts to make this a painless process. I met Brian Groover and we discussed roofing options and designs. He knows his stuff and uses some of the highest quality materials available. On installation day a small army of people took off my old roof and put a new one on! They were a well rehearsed team of professionals. They did a fantastic job of protecting my landscaping and cleaning up after the job. I highly recommend getting a Groover roof and avoiding a fly by night company who promises rock bottom prices but wont be around long enough to stand behind their work. Groover is an excellent choice because they are established and worth giving a chance to earn your business.

About 2 years ago I had a large leak in my roof. We tried to save money by hiring a company that gave us a lower bid on replacing the roof. The new one leaked and that company was unable to fix it. So we called Groover Roofing and they sent someone out right away. They were very professional and knowledgeable. We were very happy with their work and the timely manner in which they came out to fix it. I wish we had used them from the start. I would recommend them more highly. They get 5 stars from me. Couldn’t be happier.

Got a few estimates from different local companies and can't believe the difference in quality with Groover. Some of the quotes we got didn't even meet code, and none of the other companies offered any labor guarantee. The professionalism was spectacular from start to finish. Groover put a new roof and chimney on one of our rentals, and I didn't feel like I had to be there to babysit the workers, like I usually do. They got the roof done in about 5 hours and it looks absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend Groover Roofing & Siding.

I liked the salesmanship, at first. The price was acceptable, not the lowest, but good. They did an excellent job cleaning up and from what I can tell, did a great job on the roof. Then it came to the next day and requesting payment. Apparently, they used a "substantial" amount of additional "one bys and plywood" so they tacked on 20% to the bill. Now, I don't know about you, but when they said they would let me know if there was a significant amount of wood needed for the roofing project, I would have thought when he said a "substantial" amount of wood that would have been it. A 20% increase in cost was acceptable HAD THEY LET ME SEE THE DAMAGE BEFORE REPAIRING IT, like they agreed. Had I the opportunity to see it, I'm not a fool, if it needed replaced I'd have had it replaced. I knew the roof was old. So, don't be like me. Be specific about when you want to be notified....say more than 3 sheets of plywood and/or 20 feet of one bys. And get pictures if you aren't there or on your ladder and look of you are (and I was for the first half of the project, when it was presumably exposed).

Groover recently put a new roof on our house and we were extremely impressed. Of all the estimates we received, they (Dave) were the only one that actually went up onto the roof and into both attics to do a proper evaluation. We’ve had other work done by other companies, but they were the only one who came out when they said they would begin work. The roofing crew was great from lady to all the gentlemen. Very professional, courteous and expert.You may pay a little more for Groover, but every dime is worth it because you can be confident that the materials used and the workmanship will be top notch.I would like to add that some issues were found with our siding, ( not due to Groover) and Jay from the siding crew was a magician, and made repairs immediately and pleased us greatly. Great, courteous guy from Jersey.😊Clean up was thorough, and we both would highly recommend Groover when you want to trust the work. They are local and very friendly.

I called Groover to look over my roof after noticing what looked like damage from the wind after a storm. After telling them my situation they came to my house quickly and temporarily repaired my roof. Dave Shafer handled the entire issue and by them coming to my house quickly I had no interior damage. After Groover and my insurance company looked at my roof they ended up replacing my entire roof. Dave Loomis and the others working with him were very transparent which helped me understand why they had to replace or reconstruct certain areas to ensure a quality job. The roof looks great and even better I feel it was done correctly. I also appreciate how well they cleaned around my house after they were done with the roof.

Had a leak, they come out said I needed whole new roof. Called another company, they found and repaired the leak, without replacing the entire roof. Beware of this company they will try to rip you off. Also get a second opinion especially when using Groover as one of your estimates
