I had a complete trane central system installed a few years back on an older home. Since that time i have had several issues from the thermostat to the system continually running which caused a large consumption thus large electric bill. Recently i was under my house doing some insulation work and i noticed the way in which the wires and piping were installed are not to code specifically the wiring. They did not run the wiring thru the floor joists and several feet are only hanging around the vent tubing. Correct me if i am wrong but atleast the wiring should be secured to floor boards. Another time i had called about getting my thermostat hard wired to my router because every time the power is interupted this model thermostat does not reconnect to wifi. But the office talked to one of their supervisors and told me it was not possible even without knowing my model of thermostat. I had to call several times just to get an answer even called Mike and he told me he was on vacation so i ended up calling the office again. No good. I hard wired the lan cable to my thermostat and connected it myself and its working great now. Connects even after a power interruption. Knieves you really need to some improvements here.

Have heating/air problems, ask for Eric! He is the best ! Also Mr. Warnecke for a water system , you will not be disappointed! The only bad thing I can say is if you get on the yearly maintenance, they will call you when you have a scheduled appt. and want to change it , even during uneventful weather.Services: Water heater installation, A/C system maintenance, Heating system repair, Heating system installation, Heating system maintenance

Knueve and sons have taken care of my heating and cooling needs the past 20 years, so when we needed a new heating and cooling system they got the job. May be the worst water equipment around. I used Knueve for over 2 years and from day 1 I had water problems. I had their techs out at my house probably 15 times trying to fix my water problem...they never were able to. I had techs show up over 2 hours late with no call. Had techs show up over 1 hour early with no call, banging on my Windows looking inside the house. I called a different company, who came out and tested my water. He gave me recommendations on what I should do...problem solved. I switched to that company. I will never use Kneuve or even recommend them. Terrible service, can't keep appointments, and they obviously have no clue what they're doing.Update to my older review.....Knueve continues to amaze me with how incompetent they are. First off, I am over 4 months into my new equipment from a different water company and have zero issues with my water. Back to Knueve.....I haven't had Knueves junk equipment in my house in over 4 months yet I received a bill in the mail for $192 for my equipment rental. Funny thing is that Rodney Knueve himself took the equipment out of my house. I called them 2 days in a row and got no resolve. It took them a third day to call me to tell me that I didn't owe any money. No kidding?!? They obviously can't make water clean, now they can't run simple computer programs for billing. Knuevee is the absolute most incompetent company I have ever had service with.Update to my other update..... I am now 9 months removed from having knueve equipment in my house and I am still receiving equipment rental bills. What a freaking ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A COMPANY!!!

I was completely satisfied with how quickly the gentleman came and how he fixed our furnace. He put own booties before entering our home. The only thing I would recommend for the future is maybe having your service techs wear masks inside homes due to COVID -19.

Our heat went out on a really cold day. They responded immediately and a tech was there within hours. The problem was fixed and everything was up and running in no time. We we're pleasantly surprised that the charge for the service call was very reasonable.

Requested service on an old furnace that heated my commercial building. They couldn't fixed the furnace and instead would send a salesmen out to quote a new furnace. First appointment they never showed, never called. I called a week later to follow up. They rescheduled and had a no show - no call again. 40 mins after the scheduled time MIKE KNUEVE calls with the rudest tone. I told him you should have called I am at lunch now, I would have stayed at my office if you were going to be this late, just call... His response "We are busy people too..."As a young business owner in a small community I am very disappointed with Mike Knueve and his approach to business and sales. I received no apology from Mike and will not be working with Knueve and sons.

I contacted Kneve & Sons for a large walk-in shower build. (Their sideline business) Ron came out on June 29th and took measurements and pics of current setup. He said because of the upcoming July 3rd holiday, he should have a quote early the week of the 13th. I called the office late that week (Friday 17th), Beth answered, and I asked for Ron, he was out on a another quote. I told Beth we've had two other contractor quotes that we received back and needed to make a decision. I requested Beth to message Ron that I needed our quote by the end of Friday or Saturday, if need be.As of today (One full month later), I haven't heard or seen anything from any of them. I figured 2 1/2 - 3 weeks was more than adequate for someone to gather required labor & material costs and put it on a piece of paper. Obviously I angered someone. I have moved on from Kneve & Sons and awarded the business to someone else.
