I had my roof replaced with Kerrigan roofing and they did a good job. They were very fast at getting the job done. But they quoted me at only $1,000 as the deductible and they would get the rest from the insurance. They said that they would negotiate with the insurance to raise the price so that they would be able to use better quality materials. I said fine as long as it doesn’t make any problems. When they finished with the job I didn’t hear back from them at all. Apparently they were preparing for a legal battle with me because the insurance wouldn’t pay them the full amount. So they came to me and demanded me to pay them the remaining $5,000. What’s unfair is I am not prepared to make this kind of payment at this time. Now they call every other day saying they will list my home as a credit or something like that. I am in no position to pay this huge bill. I hope everyone else will double check with your insurance agent and your realtor to make sure that you won’t have to pay more than the deductible.Service: Roof repair for storm & wind damage
