Our home was damaged by a fire and resulted in a great deal of smoke and soot from the plastic coffee maker. I was surprised how quickly Rumpke Restoration sent their team to clean our home. They were professional and diligent in getting everything free of smoke. Led by co-owner, Matt Ellison, they provided a great service for us. I highly recommend Rumpke Restoration.

Matthew gave us really great advice and helped us with insurance and our home. His team did an excellent job with their abatement with asbestos and keeping our items free of debris. He listened to our concerns and addressed them as he could. I would highly recommend them for services.

We had a finished, carpeted basement flooded from a drain backup. I called at 7:30 am; they are an hour away but the cleanup crew was here within 2 hours and was here until 11:00 that night to complete that part of the job. Rumpke worked directly with the insurance company to make sure the claim was handled properly. The reconstruction crew did excellent work. (Update: 6/21/23 - Responding to 6/19 Rumpke Restoration's response to my review. The claim was on 3/19/2023. RR sent someone to our house. RR's office person called me that same day. You should have a record of this.) We had a washing machine water issue for which we filed an insurance claim. Rumpke came out, but then declined the job indicating it was a “conflict of interest” without more detail. The best we could tell is that they would not get paid because we started some remediation ourselves. I was told the owner, Matt, would call me. Six days later and no call from Matt. We are dealing with health issues in our famliy and wanted dehumidification equipment in place ASAP to prevent mold. Rumpke would not help by leaving any equipment. They just wiped their hands of helping in any way. I found this company to completely lack professionalism (and compassion). I would leave zero stars if it was an option.

Excellent service. Our basement flooded three days before we left for vacation. The flood occured on Sunday, I called three other service providers to have them start the restoration with one firm committing, but than they never showed.A friend recommended Rumpke Restoration. I called them at 1pm, and they had their equipment setup that night and began drying my basement that night. They even billed my insurance.They are an experienced professional group who got the work done in three days. Even my insurance company was impressed and pleased with the bill. They even managed the work while we were gone on a family vacation. Don’t waste time with other providers, just call Rumpke.The other firm that did not show up as planned and encouraged me to publish my opinion of their service, in a different blog, called me one week later and asked if I still needed service. :(“No thank you- Rumpke already got it done. “ :)Bill S

Our basement flooded due to a failed sump pump in November potentially ruining our brand new carpet. I called Rumpke Restoration as they were opening that morning and they had a crew onsite with equipment set up in less than three hours. The crew worked around the plumber installing our new sump pump to ensure that both needs were addressed without delay. They had the water mitigation completed in 24 hours and even saved our new carpet and memory foam padding due to their quick response time. In addition to the excellent service, our invoice was very competitively priced making our insurance claim process as simple as possible.

Unbelievable response time to our flooded basement. From the time our insurance company contacted Jeremy to the time the RR team was extracting water from my basement was ~4 hours. They worked late into the night to ensure we were on our way to drying out quickly. Their team was friendly and diligent in their work. I really appreciated working directly with Matt and Jeremy who are part of the ownership team. They were able to give us many recommendations and tips for making the best of the tough situation, which was much appreciated. I would highly recommend Matt, Jeremy, and the Rumpke Restoration team. We had a water issue for over 17 years before we were able toget it fixed. After trying numerous time to get rid of the blackmold in the basement we hired rumpke restoration to help. CJand Matt told us what to expect and gave it their all. Did a greatjob tearing out the basment ceiling and bathroom. Had a delayon the bathroom and it took longer than expected, they madeit right for us even though delay was not theirs or our fault. Lifegot in the way.. Nov 2018 Mold remediation project in finished basement. Laura and her team did a fantastic job! They were courteous, professional, hard working people who did an exceptional job on a project that turned out to be way more extensive than initially believed. The price of the remediation was comparable to another reputable company And the contracted price was honored despite the extra work required.I would recommend Rumpke to anyone who wants mold remediation work done RIGHT. It’s not cheap but frankly, if someone tries to quote you a cheap rate, it’s because they aren’t going to do a complete remediation. When you have mold, you can’t cut corners!

I am going to highly recommend this company! From the first phone call I was advised on exactly what to do and how they were going to help. My grandfathers home had mold in the basement and it was pretty tricky. Rumpke worked tirelessly until every piece of mold was gone. The best part is that the project manager kept me in constant communication so that I didn’t have to make trips over there every day and worry. Now the home is ready to be sold with detailed documentation for future buyers. They could not have made it any easier on me.

I want to take a second to acknowledge how awesome everyone at Rumpke Restoration is! The customer experience from start to finish was better than I could imagine. From the moment they answered the phone I knew these were good people and when Matt came out, it was reaffirmed. He gave us a rundown on what they were going to do and you could tell that they go above and beyond just the standard.
