We interviewed with 5 other roofing companies before we met with Ryan and learned about his company and his product line. We knew immediately that he was the one to go with. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable from years of experience with the product and answered each and every question. He checked every box and we went into it feeling confident. He provided a myriad of style and color options that he’d previously done which we were able to drive by and see for ourselves before selecting the color. Not one other roofing company was able to do so. Throughout the installation process, his team worked diligently through each step, from tear down to last clean up. Each night they also tidied up before they left. Upon completion, we walked the property with Ryan for a final inspection before closing. I interviewed FIVE contractors before going with Schroer and Sons. I did my research on metal roofs before giving them the job and they impressed me with their knowledge and professionalism. I felt confident they were qualified to install a metal roof CORRECTLY, and they did. They even went back and undid work they had done when they realized a mistake had been made so they could fix it, instead of just moving on like the fly by night contractors would. They added a ridge vent that should have been installed by the previous roofer, and added a vent for the bathroom fan I'm installing. I would highly recommend Schroer & Sons roofing over and over, to friends and family, to anyone. Trustworthy, reliable, professional, fairly priced, and quality craftsmanship are a few of the words I would use to describe them. Ryan, Valerie and the whole team were great to work with. I had a weather event with wind damage and lost a section of shingles. This company also works with standard shingles along with metal roofing. The next day I called Valerie and they were out to the house within an hour and a half to clean up the mess and tarp the roof for protection. Ryan was excellent at working with my insurance company, and when they got the green light they moved fast. They had material to the house in 4 days and had the roof done in 2 days. Their team was great to work with and always courteous. They took great pains to protect the jobsite and clean up the debris. I felt like I had the best roofing company, the best service, the best roofing expertise, and all at a very fair cost. 100% satisfied. Schroer & Sons gave our home a facelift! We had tired 30-year old cedar siding and fascia. Also, our 14 year-old asphalt roof was already showing some age. At first, we were a little sticker-shocked with the price of the metal roof, siding, fascia, and soffit. Schroer & Son’s recently installed a new aluminum shingle roof over our old asphalt shingle roof. It was important to us that our new roof could be recycled, and would not add to the landfill. Once Ryan had come out to show us samples of options available, it became an easy decision to make. The roof product that they had is made locally in Piqua and has a great reputation of reliability and sustainability. We selected the metal shingles that look like slate, and after Schroer and Son’s crew was done installing it, we could not be happier. They also installed new gutters with gutter guards to accommodate the additional rain that will come off of the aluminum roof. It is an investment, but with the warranty, we will not have to worry about replacing our roof as long as we own this house.Ryan and his crew were professional, kept us informed on their progress and when they would arrive, and made every effort to be sure that we were happy with the outcome. We made our appointment for an estimate with Ryan, and he was there, as promised, when promised. As it was an insurance job, he met with the estimator and they talked everything out. When the job was approved, the materials were procured, and the work commenced. Luis and his crew showed up early and stayed late, working in some pretty windy conditions. Ryan Schroer had the opportunity to fix many issues that were the result of another company's installation on our roof. He never, ever let that be a problem. He and his crew made several trips to my home in Northern Ohio even though our roof was under warrantee.
