I can’t begin to say what a great experience it was working with Honest Abe Roofing from the beginning of the process to the final product. Everyone I worked with was very professional. The products are the best and I know my roof was done very professionally and thoroughly. I’m no longer concerned that my roof may leak, I’ll save money on my homeowners insurance, etc. Having my roof replaced by Honest Abe Roofing has given me a lot of peace of mind. And, the neighbors are commenting on how good it looks.I was assigned a field manager, Bobby, who was there the entire time. I felt like he was my advocate. He walked around with me numerous times throughout the project answering all of my questions. I learned a lot. I’ve restored 3 out of the 4 homes I’ve owned and lived in over the years. Some contractors were a nightmare…poor workmanship, not reliable, lacked communication skills and treated me poorly if I asked any questions, had concerns, etc. Bobby and Honest Abe Roofing was the epitome of what a contractor/company should be. I only wish I could hire them to do all of the projects I still plan to do on my home.Honest Abe Roofing also offers several financing options that many roofing companies don’t offer. That was also important to me.If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

BEWARE: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. There is nothing "Honest" about Honest Abe and I honestly feel scammed at the end of this whole ordeal. I had a rep from Dishonest Abe (Dayton branch) come out in August 2023 to take a look at my roof to see what all needed to be done, as I had just purchased the home, I knew there were some trouble spots. But wanted an overall idea to what I was dealing with. The rep only used a drone for inspection, should have been my first red flag. He gives me his whole schpill and quotes me $50k+ for a complete redo. Or to just focus on the trouble spots only where there is leaking and should get us through the winter and spring just fine would be $1800.00. We chose to just take care of the trouble spots for now to fix the. They said they would be able to get to work one within 30days or less. The September date passes, I call. They tell me it be that following Monday. Nothing. October comes I call again. And again, it will be the following week. That week passes. I call again. They tell me they have had weather set backs but I am definitely on the schedule for the 18th of October. The 18th comes and goes. November I finally call HA headquarters in Indiana. They got ahold of the Dayton location apparently, because a pick up truck showed up the following day with some guys that spoke broken English. They looked around the property then came to the door to ask if we had the shingles for the job. What?! No, you guys are supposed to have the shingles. They said they would return the next day due to the rain coming in. It rained two days straight after, then it was the weekend. At this point I'm just thinking, there clearly wasn't enough money in this job for this company to care. Monday I called headquarters again. The lady I spoke with seemed shocked that I was calling again. I told her what happened. She took a deep breath and says, "They told me the job was done!" I say, Excuse me?! She tells me how ridiculous this all is and assures me if she has to come to Dayton herself, it will get done in the next few days, but had to make some calls first. The following morning a wonderful man called to say he is on his way from Terre haute, In to come fix my roof up! Finally I breathe a sigh of relief! Less than 2 weeks later after some heavy rains, my mother's bedroom ceiling continues to leak. I call Dayton HA, again, everyone was in a "meeting", no surprise there. And but of course, no one returned my call. By now the financing company is calling to see how satisfied I am with the job. At this point I'm not expecting anything more or less. I'm just paying for this b.s. and I am absolutely done. So they actually end up escalating it and tell me there are several grievances open against HA Dayton. In the end, Indiana ends up coming back out and reinspect the roof and can see the specific area the needs fixed but that area was never included in the initial report that needed fixed, therefore not covered under the guarantee and would infact cost an extra $5k. I'm so disgusted. If I could give this company negative 100 stars I would.

We were very impressed with Cody Still and his Indianapolis crew. They were very professional and hard working , got our roof put on in One day. Kept the yard clean during and after the job was done. Everyone was always busy worked very well together. I would Definitely recommend them to do your roof. Very prompt at getting the job done. And Cody Still made sure everything went smoothly. He has a great personality very polite and friendly. Very professional job!!!!!

Honest Abe fixed my tall barn roof that had wind damage from strong winds(tornado) that went through. They came right over told me how much it would be and were there to do the work. I am so thankful because I couldn't get any other so called roofer to do it. Honest Abe is the best!!Service: Roof repair

Alright, so here's the deal. I was cheated out of a previous roofing job by a local contractor. He basically took my money, and told me the materials were backordered. When I was looking to see if an actual roofing company existed, to my surprise, I found Honest Abe Roofing (thank God, I was so done with contractors).Within a week I had an order in for someone to put a new roof on my home. They saved me literally thousands of dollars in damages because a whole 2 days after my installation came one of the most violent storms I've experienced living in this home.
