DO NOT EVER USE THESE GUYS TO EVEN PATCH A PIECE OF YOUR LAWN.These guys may be the worst roofing company in the history of mankind.If I could leave zero or negative stars I would.They put what they said was the Cadillac of commercial roofs on a building of mine and it has leaked every year in the winter for the last 10 years and ruined my drywall in the apartments underneath.Even better, I have attempted to get them to come out and fix it no less than 4-5 times every year and it’s always like pulling teeth. This year , the service guy just will not accept or answer calls from my maintenance man.They refused to pay for any of the drywall repairs and basically do anything that they can to not have to do the actual repairs. Then to top it off, the repairs they did last year amounted to dumping a few buckets of roof cement over a 12 x 12 area where they thought it was leaking. Anyone who knows ANYTHING about commercial roofs will tell you this is the last way you want to fix a flat roof because eventually, that cement reacts with the roofing membrane and eats it away. in the end, you- meaning me- are left with an even bigger problem.If they were the last roofers left in Toledo I still would not use them. What a joke!

I have a basement with 2 leaks and I called Seagate for their basement crack fill service. Tom Elder came out and I was told by their office for a month he would call me back. I finally get him on the phone and he said he was not interested doing our repairs business. I cannot believe a company this company is refusing work, they specialize in, for absolutely no reason.

Top rated company, very honest office employees and quality workers.With last Friday's hard rain and winds we developed a leak in our great room. I called my insurance and they gave me some names I never heard of. I called the roofer that we used for our stores and they no longer do home roofing projects and they gave me the number to Seagate. Talked to a nice lady and scheduled an appointment to look at the roof, she got my name and address. Five minutes later she called me back and said that based on the address they were the company the installed the roof and although the previous owner did not properly transfer the Owens Corning contact the Seagate 10 year contract was still valid. A nice worker came out today to fix the roof and someone is coming out to repair the ceiling in the great room. How lucky is that, I could have called a 100 other roofers but called Seagate and because of them being an honest company staffed with employees that have a great amount of integrity we got everything repaired at no cost to us. If your thinking of a new roof, you should certainly call Seagate as they stand by their work 100 percent!Service: Roof repair

I have no complaints about the roof itself. My complaint is they did not clean up after themselves. They took the dumpster away and left all the debris that was around and underneath it on the driveway. There were several nails left in the driveway. There is a toddler that is frequently at the house. The workers should have cleaned up and made sure all of the nails were picked up so that no one either stepped on them or gets one in their tireService: Roof installation

Started the job before the promised date and the crew was professional efficient and made sure our home was cleaned up every night before they left. Seagate foundations completed sill plate and rim joist work on my new house purchase. They scheduled the job within a short time of quoting the repair and did a great job during the repair. They made me aware of all findings before proceeding with the work. They also took pictures before, during and after the work which were shared with me for future reference. Overall They did a great job and I am 100% confident in the work they completed. I actually had them come back to quote another job on my property after this job as well. Tom came to quote the job and took extra time at my property to fully explain and show what work would have to take place to fix a foundation issue. Along with this he also provided 3 different options to complete the repair and talked me through the written quote so I could choose the best route for our property. Overall I had a great experience working with seagate and Highly reccomend using them

Seagate roofing did a great job replacing the roof on the front half of our house. Even with all of the obstacles (delays due to weather, back ordered supplies, smaller crews, etc.), they still got everything done as quickly as they could. They were very straight forward about the quoted cost & timing. We haven't had any issues with our roof since, and we are considering having them replace the back half of the house in the spring.Service: Roof repair

We had a hairline crack in our foundation coming off of one of our window wells causing our finished side of the basement to get wet. Seagate was able to repair the crack on the outside of the house while also sealing the remainder of the foundation. The salesperson was accurate in his estimate and timeline and the crew did a phenomenal job not only with the work itself but then leaving my property the way it was prior to the work. Very happy with Seagate and their services.

I used Seagate to install a roof on a house. I met with a company rep (George). George explained the types of shingles and what it would take to complete the job. We agreed on a price and a few months later the roof was installed. I had a few nails here and there and a bit of roof debris in gutters but nothing too unexpected.Service: Roof installation

Seagate did a great job with my roof repair. My roof was actively leaking and they made it a priority to get my repair completed as soon as possible. The roof repair specialists were professional and even inspected the health of my entire roof. They took pictures and showed me what they were doing and even showed me some problem areas to look out for in the future. Dustin and co-worker did a superb job replacing the damaged shingles around my electrical mast. They also re-anchored the mast back into its original position, replaced roof boards, installed a heavy-duty boot around the mast, and laid new shingles. Their photos taken of this job from start to finish document their excellent workmanship. I especially appreciate the 2-year warranty. I plan to use this business for any future needs based purely on honesty, integrity, and knowledge! In working on flooring, we noticed mold and a little water behind the drywall at the baseboard. Tom came for an evaluatiin and estimate. He spent time walking through the varius issues with us to explain it all.He did not try to sell me anything which, lets be honest, so many places do! I wanted to do right by the house and any future owners and I could tell he did as well. This type of true honesty and caring is hard to come by and that alone has any of my business! I had contracted Seagate after they did a small, rubber roof replacement at my home in 2019. They did that job pretty well and I can't complain about that. However, I contracted them to replace 3 (2 rubber and 1 full shingle) roofs on my apartment complex in the Old West End after owning the building for just over a year. Communication was terrible, they took months longer than originally quoted to start the work. I contacted them multiple times about letting me know when they would be starting and finishing the work and I never received a message about when they would start until I ripped into their sales guy for not returning my calls, it had been a long time (3+ months) after they said they would start. They pulled off of my building days before the big polar vortex storm in February, 2021. The ground froze over with ice and snow after a few days (even though they never let me know they finished the job) after they left. 2 weeks later, the snow melted and the ground exposed tons of materials left on-site from their crews. Old roof shingles, roofing nails, cigarette butts and other materials littered my entire property. I spent hours cleaning the property after the fact and repairing my tenants tires from the roofing nails that littered my entire parking lot. Within a couple of weeks, my tenants roof leaked so bad, it destroyed many of his electronics in his living room and the ceiling of the apartment he lived in. They came out days later and said it was an issue with one of my windows and the trim above the unit. I had the trim and window siding replaced the next day. A couple of days later it rained and my tenant's roof was leaking again. I had an independent contractor come out and assess the situation and noted serious flaws in the quality of work done by the roofing crew. I got the Seagate crews out 2 days later, they let me know they "fixed" a couple of things on the roof and they tested it with water for leaks. The leak is apparently now fixed as of 4/7/2021, but they tried to blame the leak on siding again. Funny how that works, my independent contractor said their flashing and dormer work was faulty, yet Seagate blamed it on siding (which had never been an issue for any of my apartments). So all in all, I paid Seagate $34k to do half a** work, leave my property trashed with construction debris and tell me I now am on the hook to replace the interior ceiling their shotty work destroyed and replace over a thousand dollars of my tenant's electronics. I've never written a review until now, but this is absolutely crushing for a small business owner, and they just pass the buck for shotty work. I guess I'll have to pay the price. It must be nice being a contractor that doesn't fix their mistakes that they made after taking your $34k!Service: Roof repair

Jim and Tim, the installers from Seagate, were professional and courteous as they installed vinyl siding and wrapped all trim and door and window frames with aluminum on my two car garage. The work was done in the agreed amount of time at the agreed price. I am totally pleased with the job and would use them again.

I hired them in 2020 to do some foundation work, where I had a crack with water leaking through after rains. They came with a good recommendation from my neighbor. They fixed the crack problem in the wall, sealed this wall on the inside with epoxy and the outside with hydraulic cement foam insulation, tested the drain tile where they were digging, ensuring it could run water through without blockage, backfilled with stones, and built a replacement stoop after having had to remove an existing stoop above their excavation location. In my opinion they were totally professional, experienced, and competent - inspecting, estimating, and doing the work. I would definitely hire Seagate again, should the need arise.

In June 2020, a very large tree branch fell on my home with damage to my roof and siding and knocking the chimney down to the ground. I live 4.5 hours from Toledo and since I was not going to be able to be onsite for contractor selection directly, I relied on recommendations from various resources, looked into reviews for each, and communicated often with my father who acted as my eyes and ears while I was away. Dad also provided extra insight as he was in the construction trade for 50 years so could talk-the-talk and walk-the-walk. Of course, his is my most trustworthy recommendation and I value his opinions and guidance, especially in this unexpected and unfortunate circumstance.We chose Seagate based upon this information. I was looking at a whole new roof, chimney rebuild, new siding, window cladding, awnings, and shutters. Things moved along and, given the coordination efforts that need to be made with various subcontractors and weather conditions, delays were understandable…after all, mine was not the only job they are all working on.Throughout the five-month project, there was a period of time when it seemed communication stalled and work came to a halt, neither my father nor I had been provided a status of the job. It wasn’t until I reached out to the project manager to get an update. After a few phone calls on both sides, we were able to get back on the same page. The stall wasn’t related to the major work like the roofing, siding, or chimney, it was more that there were manufacturing and delivery delays that I wasn’t aware of for the awnings (& wouldn’t be since I wasn’t directly involved with that behind-the-scenes responsibility) and there were a few smaller items still to be fixed. This is not meant to demean the work done overall, but more of a suggestion to inform the customer when such instances occur simply in order to let them know they are not forgotten.From that point forward, communication greatly improved between the project manager, Dad, and me. I was given the project managers cell phone number for direct access. When the awnings came in, they were the wrong color scheme. Yes, I was disappointed; however, mistakes happen and I was reassured that I would get what I selected. The correct awnings were received in a timely manner and all was back to expectations. The remaining items were finished within a few days as well, making the job complete.While there may have been a few bumps along the way, they were promptly remedied which restored my faith in the company and I would choose them again for exterior work. Incidentally, when it came time to sign-off the job and the final invoice was received, there was a discrepancy in the total amount from them as compared to my insurance company’s final numbers for payment. The project manager and office staff promptly resolved the issue after communicating directly with my agent and final sign-off and payment was recently taken care of.Thanks to Seagate Roofing and Foundation and their subcontractors, my home now has a brand new exterior which I am extremely grateful for, and proud of, due all of their work.Services: Gutter installation, Roof repair
