Great place, great customer service and care but, called around and their prices on some items are double that of other suppliers. They do have everything you need in one place though bolts, cut off wheels, post caps ect. So you don't have to waste gas running! I Still buy most the stuff I need at Hamill Metals but I still check with Steel Services in Claremore too!

Most dishonest and unethical company I’ve dealt with in a long time. Bought pipe from them last week. Asked about rebar, they quoted a price. Drove from Tulsa this morning to get loaded and they jacked the price up 65% without notice.Save your money and deal with honest and reputable businesses.

Called to report an out of control driver. Was dismissed and disconnected, so I contacted local police and they were going to make contact.Driver approached a traffic circle at approximately 50MPH and didn’t bother to yield. I was already in the traffic circle and was forced to slam on the brakes throwing my food drink and belongings all over my truck. The driver never once touched the brakes and then proceeded to speed through a residential area while tailgating cars. Any company who employs drivers like this is part of the problem. If I had not been able to stop I would have been killed without a doubt!

I placed order and made arrangements to have item delivered at no delivery fee. I also paid for my item with my credit card.. I called today to check on what time fir my delivery. I was told no delivery was scheduled and my credit card wad not charged. I was also informed that delivery would be $40. I needed the item and would pick it up. I called back yo talk to manager but no manager there. I arrived to get my order to find out, due to their system, my credit card was charged the delivery charge. I got that charge removed. I went to pick up item but it would not fit in my car. I had to go back and get a smaller item, get another refund and go and pick up my item. I have to think rather hard if I need anything from them again. The office people were very apologetic.

I buy a lot of small quantities of steel here for maintenance jobs and metal sculptures and artwork. They probably do most of their sales to farmers, ranchers, and dock companies from nearby lakes. It has a lumberyard feel. By that I mean it isn't like a huge steel supply house where you feel like you are a nuisance for doing small orders. I've bought a lot of lumber here also. Everyone there has always helpful and friendly. Since I usually buy small quantities I usually don't use their delivery service since it costs a flat $50.The only negative is that their website has been in flux and it not nearly as informative and functional as it used to be. You have to call and get prices now. I hope they improve this since I prefer to look things up myself.

We have had several companies come in and try to get us to switch but when we tell them about the amazing service that Hamill's provides they always tell us they understand why we aren't willing to change.
