HORRIBLE “BUSINESS”-STAY AWAYWe were subjected to 17 months of HELL w/Cliff. His “business” is: rob Peter to pay Paul. Keep reading for a long but limited summation that leaves out LOTS of details of how Cliff mistreated us.Oct2022-Met him & paid ½ down on our 2 oversized garage doors. At this point, all we had was a pad on our 12 acres, but he said we “had” to purchase that day to secure this “low cost”Nov2022-Cliff comes over to pick color/style of doors, but his company’s website for some odd reason…“isn't working right now, so look at this other company’s pics & choose from their website”Dec2022-Concrete pouredJan/Feb2023-Framers messed up 1 side of garage & made opening 6ft taller than it was supposed to be. They wouldn't fix it w/o charging a few thousand so we contacted Cliff for cost to order a bigger door. He said $3500- cheaper than paying the framers, so we asked him to reorder the 18x8 & make it 18x14Mar2023-We check in on the order & Cliff claims he hasn't put it in yet b/c we “didn't give him the green light.” Lies. Order gets placed 3-4 weeks lateApr/May2023-Tell him we’re moving next month & need doors done. Says he’ll let us know when they arrive & be out to installJune2023-Move in w/o garage doors “They’ll be here June 21” then later, doors didn't arrive b/c they are “stuck on a truck somewhere w/lots of flooding right now. They'll be here July 21”July2023-“They aren't here b/c they're backordered, they'll be w/next shipment Aug 21. Nothing I can do. The MOMENT they arrive I’ll tell you & install next day”Aug2023-“They aren't in. Black doors are backordered right now. Next shipment Sep 21 they'll be here.”Sep2023-we adopted 7 orphaned kittens to be barn cats-they began living in a wide open garage that still had no doorsOct2023-DOORS ARRIVED OCT 20. Cliff ignored us for 10 days. Two kittens got killed by dogs that came into garageNov2023-IF we got him on phone: “I have so many jobs right now- understaffed- super busy. People have been waiting longer than you so stop calling me everyday-we’ll get to your doors maybe in 2 weeks” Went on cruise Nov 18-26 & friend stayed at our house. We connected Cliff w/friend & Cliff ignored us when we said to communicate w/him on the install. Friend was outside everyday that week & no one ever came up driveway. We get back, get ahold of Cliff & he claims he sent a crew to install 3x while we were gone but the gate was closed so they couldn't get in. LIES!!! So he blames us & reschedules us a MONTH outDec21,2023- I call 8a & he says “the crew is loading up, we’ll be there in 1hr” a few min later he texts “what's the address” ummm??? So you supposedly sent the crew to our house 3x in Nov but you don't have our address? 4hrs later they arrive. He refuses to start working until we pay him the remaining $2600 -even though we have an invoice saying “½ down ½ when FINISHED” & we had already paid him $13.5k of the $16k!! He ran our CC & finish installing 7p. Upon leaving, the doors are NOT COMPLETE -they run into each other at top & they didn't have materials on hand to make them function properly. Said they’d go get materials & come back after xmas to finish. 1 door fully functional, other only opened 12ft instead of 14 until they could fix crossover issue. They didn't install keypads we paid for, no sensors included & no LIGHT included. $16k+ & we don't even get a lightJan18,2024-No one returned to finish job, Cliff refused to get a light for us & the door that didn't open all the way busts off tracks & stops working altogether. LESS THAN A MONTH & THE DOOR BROKEFeb2024-Door still broke. Cliff ignored calls & texts. ONE MONTH later they come fix the door. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY.

100% TERRIBLE EXPERIENCEPlease see my wife’s review (Naomi Harriman) for a limited (due to character count max) but still detailed summary of our 17+ months of dealing with this crook. Cliff is a disgrace to what it means to be a business owner. He hung up on us, cursed at us, insulted us, ignored us, and failed to follow through on his word over and over and over again. In the midst of one of his excuse-filled speeches about why he hadn’t installed our doors that had come in a month prior, he felt the need to mention that he has “30 satisfied customers a week” to which my wife said, “If you have 30 customers a week, why can’t you bump ONE of them from this week and get our doors done instead?” To which he could not respond and then hung up. He’s a sorry excuse for a businessman, extremely unprofessional, crude, and abrasive. Do NOT give this man your business. Not to mention when they finally installed, they did not complete the job, never came back to complete the job, and less than a month later one of the doors was inoperational. It took four weeks for Cliff to send someone to service it and we had a vehicle stuck inside that entire time. He accused me of “tampering” with the door and trying to fix it myself when it stopped working and that he’d have to void our 1-year warranty because I touched it/messed with it which I told him over and over that when it stopped working the only thing I did was take pictures of it to send to him. We spent $16k+ and didn’t even get sensors or a light with our doors - and that is not a competitive price at all like Cliff was so adamant about when trying to get our money. Also - we have a friend that put a lien on Cliff’s property in Calera because Cliff has owed him around $18k for many months but ignores all our friend’s efforts to get in touch with him. Cliff is also known to have drinking & gambling problems. Do not give this man any of your money.

They were very fast they took down a door and put a new one up in 45 minutes and it looked good and he talked us through the install on the phone and helped us pick out the door we wanted very nice.
