We were looking for a contractor to do a house demolition and didn’t know we’re to start. Had some not so great experiences in the past with contracting individuals for services such as landscaping, etc. so had a bit of anxiety as we started the search for a pretty complex job. Went online and researched for our area and Inks Excavating popped up as an available option. We checked out review and they were all positive so decided to give them a call. BEST DECISION WE EVER MADE!!! Can’t speak enough about Mike and this company. Responded to our inquires and returned our calls promptly (even when he was on vacation!), showed up when he said he would, provided expertise and guidance for the best approach even if it meant less $ for him and was both professional but also super friendly and down to earth. He made every step of this project positive. Then there is his amazing workmanship and skill. Home was in a pretty tight spot and he brought it down with no issue.. made it look so easy even though we know it was not. If I could give 10 stars I would… highly recommend Mike and Inks excavating!!!

I contacted Michael Inks/ Inks Excavating about removing our 32 yr old inground pool. I spoke to Michael a couple of times then he met with my husband and I to see the job site. Every time he left a very positive impression so it was an easy decision to chose Inks Excavating. The pool demo went smoothly. Michael is an extremely nice person. Inks Excavating Company went above and beyond to help my family. We were in a terrible situation. Mr. Michael patiently worked with me for months while I completed the nessisary steps to get my property ready for demolition. He came and spoke with the local code enforcer/building inspector on-site. Just as Inks promised, within a week, a property that has caused me huge amounts of stress and frustration is finally gone. Inks Excavating cleaned the property up better than it ever was. I'm still in shock at how quickly the work went once ot started. I couldn't recommend a more professional and responsible contractor. It has been a rare pleasure working with Inks Excavating. If I ever have need of an Excavating service again, I will definitely call Inks Excavating Inc first! Thank you!!!!

Michael Inks did a demolition on an old, 2 story frame house on my property. He did it at a fair price and he is well worth the money. He was so easy to work with. You will not be sorry after you hire him because he conducts himself professionally and is always looking to make you happy with the finished product. We hired INKs Excavating to demo and remove a large garage and grade and construct a gravel foundation for a new shed.Mike was very responsive and a great communicator. He was prompt with his estimate and it was a fair price compared to the other bids we received. He answered all questions thoroughly and made sure he knew exactly what we needed. Because of this we decided to move forward on the garage demo project with him. He came on time and once he started taking down the garage with his excavator, we knew we had hired the right pro. Our whole family enjoyed watching him work and the garage was down and cleaned up in no time.Due to this positive experience we decided to work together on prepping our site for a new shed. This went quickly and smoothly as well due to Mike's experience and skill with his machinery. Review by Len and Melaine Kachmar: After my mom died, Len and I decided that her 120-year-old house would cost an exorbitant amount of money to remodel and restore. The three acres surrounding the house are beyond price to us, since the private, serene, and woodsy area is so peaceful. We wanted to hold on to the property, where our four generations lived, and my parents ran a tree nursery for many years, but what would we do with the house? After much thought, we decided to demolish the house, keep the property, and use it as a family gathering place, to garden, to meditate, and listen to the birds.We called four house demolition companies, but as soon as Mike Inks, of Inks Excavating, Inc., answered the phone, and we discussed our plans, we knew that he would be the man for the job. We knew nothing about house demolitions, so we had many questions. Mike patiently and thoroughly explained the timeline, procedures, legalities, and the reasonable cost, confirming that we chose the right person to perform the demolition.The family watched as the house was taken down methodically, and in our eyes, reverently. Mike was always respectful of our memories of the house and the surrounding land. Mike has an extraordinary gift of envisioning the scope and final layout of the land. He has a high regard for existing trees, shrubs, and personal property in his plan for the landscape. Mike removed dead trees encroaching the house print, but was able to save many special trees and shrubs that the family holds dearly. We were very lucky that the estate has fertile areas, where soil was available to fill in the basement. Mike just amazed us, as he uncovered our parents’ tree nursery area, which had been overgrown with vines and underbrush for forty years. He was able to place the dead trees to rest there on the hillside.It was very exciting to watch Mike’s progress each day, as he worked long and hard, from the demolition of the house, to filling the dumpsters with the debris, to cracking the concrete and filling the foundation, to backfilling the foundation with soil from our own land, to grading it so smoothly, and then seeding it, and finally covering the seeds with straw. It was quite a learning experience for the family, and Mike was always willing to explain each step, discuss our options, provide his ideas, and listen to our ideas as well.We are so excited about how everything turned out! We never could have dreamed it would look so beautiful! The sun is shining on the straw strewn ground, the surrounding trees tower majestically, the birds are singing, and we are making plans for beautiful gardens to grow on the footprint of the house and nursery.Thank you so much, Mike Inks, for making such a wonderful difference to our place with all your planning, hard work, informative texting, your giant orange excavator, and your awesome dreams for us!

Mr. Inks came to my house for a free estimate to demolish it (after a bad kitchen fire with extensive smoke damage throughout). He said the job was too large for him due to the location. He gave me the name of a company that could handle it and how they would do it. He also gave me a Facebook group that rehabbed houses. He was so kind and helpful. Went beyond with providing me advice. We ended up selling the house & it is being restored. Great experience.

I highly recommend Mike he was fantastic to work with. My Mom's mobile home, which had an addition, with a house roof over half the home burned in November. It was a total loss but a nightmare to be demolished. Mike jumped right in and had everything demolished, cleaned up and put to rights in under 3 days. Very professional, friendly and helpful.
