John and his brother James did a great job on replacing our old popcorn ceiling with beautiful cedar tongue and groove planks. They spent a lot of time working with us on plans before the project began, to make sure they did the job exactly as we wanted it. Their price was very reasonable for the quality of work they delivered. All work was meticulously done and they worked closely with us throughout the project. Work site was clean when they left every day and they showed up every day until the job was completed. When they completed our ceiling and left on the last day, our place was cleaner then when they arrived. They also took the time to help us move our furniture back into the room. Both John and James were polite to my family and very professional, as well as friendly. We plan on using them again.Service: Home addition construction

When I needed a new roof and deck, I contacted American Construction. Both John Sr., and John Jr, came over to give me an estimate, telling me what products they were going to use, and what date they would start. They did the roof in 1 day, and came back later to do the deck. I was so pleased with the workmanship of the deck and roof, that I called them again for some interior work. When everything was finished, my house looked better then the day I purchased it. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and the workmanship was outstanding. The initial phone inquiry was answered within 24 hrs and an appointment scheduled at our convenience for a new roof. Questions were answered thru out the project and the price was in our budget. We had American construction do work on our house. Let me tell you they did EVERYTHING we asked and then some!! John and his sons did a wonderful job with a total remodeling of our Poconos basement, installing walls, flooring, lighting, bar and etc. They have limited use of subcontractors, so the job isn’t dependent on another’s schedule. We hired American Construction and Roofing, LLC to renovate our home. They replaced our windows in our house with new high grade windows, painted the entire house, replaced our floors with tile, carpet, and laminate flooring. Their work was high quality and they were very reliable and trustworthy. We couldn't be happier with the end results. We came home from vacation and didn't recognize our house it looked so great!
