I was absolutely clueless on where to begin (and very nervous), but him and his team were organized and professional, and I was comfortable leaving my full home remodel in their hands. Mr Lamb and his team did a fantastic job on my home after a fire. I had a complete new kitchen done, hardwood floors installed, new roof installed, complete renovation of my sons room and a new ceiling installed in my daughters room. They also painted our entire house. The guys were so patient and very nice. My family was so stressed out from the fire, we were out of our home over the Holidays. The crew fed our cats and insulated their little cat houses on the porch while we were away. They came every day and stayed all day. We needed repairs done to our porch. The porch was coming down and a hole was there and birds had a nest growing. Miserable and costly experience. Avoid. I regret paying Lamb General Contractors over $100K. The main issues were the crew taking shortcuts and poor planning. Joe was a bully. When I brought items to his attention that needed fixing, Joe told me (yelled actually) that I was a perfectionist and didn't know anything about construction.Twice Joe threatened to walk off the job and another time he threatened to sue me, saying "I'm going to own that house" because I asked him to fix mistakes.I should have listened to my gut and let them go immediatelyA few of the sub-par workmanship items:1. The house's brand new walls have lots of noticeable imperfections. Sloppy Drywall taping and finishing that left noticeable humps and bubbles. When I pointed these out to Joe during a walk thru, he said that smoothing out the drywall was not his responsibility, that was a job for the painter. Painter laughed when I told him that and told me I got taken.2. The floor in one of the bedrooms has a 20 degree slope. There was no reason Joe's crew couldn't lay a level floor. A realtor came to the house and was shocked at the slope of the floor; this unbelievably inferior work is going to cost me more than I thought since I will have to discount the list price A LOT because it does not meet today's buyers' standards.3. Layout - this was a big issue where proper planning and measuring would have avoided an 11th hour "we can't fit everything" situation for the master bath.4. Shortcuts. Crew installed the kitchen back splash upside down. When I pointed out the mistake, Joe said "we are not perfect" with no offer to fix.5. Electric boxes were mis-placed requiring lights and switch plates to be cut to fit on the wall/ceiling. This makes the house look cheap.6. Glued two pieces of window sills together; left gaps with the quarter rounds and even left a sizable gap in the bamboo flooring that shows as a hole in the floor.

Joe and his team were very dependable and did great work. We had a same day estimate, agreed on the time frame, and the team completed everything on time and budget. They replaced drop ceiling with new dry wall throughout our second floor, installed recessed lighting, capped some windows and installed a new screen door. I needed a new fence put up around my yard. I had called Joe Lamb, after being referred to him by someone who swears by his work and company. I spoke to Mr. Lamb one day and the job was done the following week. His crew was at my home early, very professional, and cleaned up everything. The guys hosed down my yard, my front and even took their trash with them, when I offered to take it from them. Mr. Lamb was even so nice enough to provide us with a very secure lock for the entrance of the gate. I will definitely be using this company again for other home projects!

Did a tremendous job. I had them scrape and clean some masonry along with completing a very efficient painting. Accommodated my hectic schedule. When the job was completed, did a great job cleaning up. Rates are very reasonable. To my surprise the next day supplied step protectors at no additional charge.Some of my neighbors used this contractor to install new windows and they reported that they were very satisfied with the completed task.If you want a professional job completed by a very competent staff, I would highly recommend Lamb General Contractors.
