My home warranty company told me I had to use top notch for them to cover any of the charges, otherwise I would I have never used them. They charged me $1000 to fix 2 roof leaks. It took weeks of calling their office and employees’ cell numbers to finally get them to do the work. When one of the leaks was not immediately better he said he can do a coating that would cost another $1000. I refused to pay them another $1000 to fix the problem I hired them for. Plus the gutter cap they replaced for me was not done properly. It took several phone calls and weeks to get them to fix that mistake and they did a really crummy job of fixing that. And just to add insult to injury, they rarely shows up on time. I’ve waited hours to days for top notch workers to show up to my house for appointments we set a week in advance. So $1000, several months later, and several missed days of work and both leaks are still leaking.

NO STARS... Complete roofing job - Roof has been leaking since day 1; it has been several years. Top Notch guys have been back at least 6 times, still leaks. Now some of my new windows leak too.4 different roofing companies have commented on the horrendous workmanship; popping nails, shingles coming off, etc.Did I mention that I now have 3 layers of roofing?? Township application was completed stating that he (David Shaw), would be going over 1 roof only. So it's against code.I am currently in the process of replacing EVERYTHING. Tearing off 3 layers of roof, replacing all the damaged plywood and decorative wood on the underside.I won't know if the windows need to be replaced until they tear off the layers, and assess the scope of the damage.Stay tuned... as I will be pursuing this through all available outlets.This review is just the start.

Hired Top Notch Roofing in April 2018. Proposal for the entire project was $4,400. Upon removal of the old roof, they discovered that the substructure around the skylight was severely damaged. I had existing water damage in the bathroom so it was no surprise. After an estimate for an additional $2,800, I agreed and they proceeded to replace the damaged area. It included 20 sheets of plywood. The job was completed within three days. It was an enormous undertaking. All materials were high quality and workmanship was thorough and professional. All in all, I'm very pleased with the job. Roof replacement is a big undertaking and you get what you pay for. I'd recommend Top Notch Roofing. I wasn't thrilled with spending $7,000.00 for a roof, but it's the most important component in my home, so it's well worth it in the long run.

I didn't know that roofing companies specialized in customer service. Top Notch roofing sent out 2 roofers at 4:45pm to look at a leak that I had. They couldn't have sent 2 better guys to the house, although it was the end of a hot day, both roofers couldn't have been friendlier. Top Notch Roofing should be very proud to have guys like Dave and Dan working for them. Top Notch will now be my only call for services that they supply.

Top Notch replaced the drain box and down spout on my rental property. Within 1 year the downspout came off (they never secured it to the house) and they wanted to charge me $275.00 to put it back up. My GC did it for $65.00. Then the roof started leaking in the same place. I called, texted and emailed for over 2 weeks before they finally got back to me. They went out and said it was where the shingles meet the flat roof that was leaking. They patched it at no charge, well, it's still leaking where the original leak is. I have sever water damage in the bathroom and living room...again! I have spoken to them a few times with promises to go out to look at it but that has yet to happen and now they just aren't responding at all - time to find a new roofer. As a licensed Real Estate agent I will spread the word to my fellow sales associates.

Top Notch Roofing formally located in Havertown, PA and had moved to Ridley Park are no longer at 405 W. Chester Pike as Googled. I called the Municipal Bldg. in Ridley Township and they stated this company has closed permanently.I gave one star because I wanted to get the message out there that if you are looking for them, they are gone, from Delco.They did my roof in 2014, and did a fairly good job. I used them because they were local. Then they moved from my immediate area. I tried to contact a little before pandemic, I wanted them to do a silver coat. I just got a chance to do more detective work 2 days ago. Was in need of a roofer March 2011 After calling 4 different local roofers and noone calling us back or coming out we were happy to have found Top Notch. They promptly returned our call and very courteous. They came out the same day to help with our leaking roof! I will update this review after the work is completed. SO far we are happy with how quickly they respond.

Called in mid April and estimator came for the estimate April 28th It's a full roof replacement and capping and he seemed to know what he was talking about. I really wanted them to do the job. After 2 weeks I called for follow up and left a message, no response a week later I spoke with someone who said Dave had my estimate and would call me right back. We are at June 21st and no call. I wanted to use a Havertown business but these guys who either don't want my business or can't do this job won't get it.

If this is the roofer that came to our home he lied and indicated we had a roofing issue and he showed us a pic of someone else's roof that was all messed up and attempted to charge us 4000.00 we called a home inspector who took a pic of a normal roof and said we need masonry work .How could any human being be so dishonest .Buyer be aware always get several opinions. Not sure if this is him but double check these roofers.

Went and got quotes for a new roof for my garage, Top Notch came in at about 15% less than the competition, and I'm very happy with the results. I feel they went above and beyond in their quality and service, would give 6 stars if I could.

Ok where to start. Day one.... I called and spoke to a very pleasant woman on the phone and she took my message. Day 2 waited out the day for a call backDay 3 finally spoke to the road guy and made an appt. for that Fri. Thurs day he canceled and rearranged it for Mon.. Never did he ask if the roof leak was being managed. Then that Mon I waited til 3:00 pm and didn't hear from him. I called and the polite receptionist apologized for the miscommunication. She told me that the road guy (not mentioning names here) was in Nj. Well great another missed appt. So low and behold, a person in charge called me back. However, he was from the commercial end of the business. He didnt even carry a ladder. No ladder equals no help. So I offered him a ladder and he said I do commercial. Ok then why are u here then? He stated that he will have someone come tomorrow morning to video tape the roof. I didn't hear anyone on the roof and I was home all day and mostly outside doing yard work. There is no way they came that am. The kick in the face... So I am waiting to hear back from someone for a few days. Finally , I decided to call them. I left a message. I heard back from the receptionist that there was an estimate sent to my email. Awesome... No contact from anyone other than a receptionist. I opened up the estimate. No sign of what they thought was wrong. No asking me what the symptoms were.. No contact except with the estimate. So my experience was this. Needless to say I will not use this service. If your customer service sucks at this level, I could imagine getting any warranty work done. Sheez call your customers and talk with them is buisness 101.Ok I am going to add two stars because someone called me after I emailed them. He was very knowledgable and explained what he seen on the roof. He also apologized for the mishap. I am a little more pleased about the situation. Thx for at least calling me back.
