We chose Windle Design & Construction as we dove into our first ever home renovation. From the initial meeting with Seth, we felt that we were in safe hands. Every step of the process was exciting, we were updated daily on progress and they were able to meet the initial timeline proposed and our expectations on completion.We especially appreciated the thoughtfulness of the Windle team and their sub contractors as we lived in the home throughout the renovation. The design team was really a gift. We can get overwhelmed with choices and they were able to give gentle guidance. The easiest 5 star review I have ever left.6 years ago we used Windle to redo our kitchen, and they did a fantastic job. Over time as our family grew, we were deciding between doing an addition on our home or moving. We decided to do the addition and go with a “cheaper option” to save some money. It was a complete disaster. The work never started, and after moving out of our house for 3 months we had to move back in.We decided to try again the following summer, and our experience with Windle could not have been more opposite. From start to finish, we were cared for with honesty and detail throughout the entire process. Seth and Luke Windle, the owners, are men of character who I trust. Alyssa, our designer, gave great suggestions and ideas while also being friendly and easy to talk to. But the highlight of the project was Ben, our project manager. We felt complete trust and confidence in him as he oversaw the project, and consider him a friend after getting to know him.What an incredible experience and privilege it was to work with Windle D&C. From the top down to the subs, they cared for us well and treated us like friends from the start, while also displaying the utmost professionalism. Not to mention the top quality construction and craftsmanship. After a disaster of a summer the previous year, Windle helped us experience what I constantly referred to as a “summer of redemption.” Look nowhere else but Windle D&C for your home renovation. They are, hands down, the best.

Windle Design & Construction was a pleasure to work with, from start to finish. Our project was enormous and the team was up to the task. We had multiple "pivots" and "change orders" as the addition unfolded, some of which was large in scope and structural. Any issue that came up was addressed quickly and often creatively. Though our timeline was longer than expected due to the aforementioned changes and ordering/supply issues, they communicated every step of the way. Our end result was worth the time and effort. Our house is beautiful and seamless, the original structure and new addition perfectly matched. It's quite remarkable!I can not say enough about Ashley (with the help of Alyssa and Maddy along the way) and Colton. Their patience and kindness with us was never-ending. All of the sub-contractors involved in the project were also extremely high quality and conscientious.On a personal level, we had a very difficult year with some major live events unrelated to the project and the Windle team was touchingly supportive and caring. We lived in the house for essentially our entire project, which presented a lot of challenges. But we were met with care and respect every step of the way. We are very grateful.

Windle Design & Construction just completed finishing our basement, and we could not be more pleased with the results. Colton, the project manager, communicated with us daily and went out of his way to give us what we wanted. The design crew was spot on, and communication was easy utilizing their integrated software program detailing the entire process. We always knew what was happening. We recently finished a basement renovation with Windle Design & Construction and I would recommend them without reservation! We couldn't be happier with the whole process. There was constant communication throughout and no surprises with any costs. Seth, Luke and Ben were great in all interactions with them and they did a great job in their respective roles. We especially appreciated that we were given options at different price points when the demolition was done and it was revealed that some unexpected things had to be addressed. Alyssa was wonderful to work with on the design and having multiple floor plan options with the awesome renderings was so helpful for us. She was also great working with us as we made changes, added closets, etc. as the work progressed. When an issue arose at the end with an unexpected consequence of something we signed off on in the design, the company offered to do the labor to alter it at no cost. They clearly have the client's best interests at heart and genuinely want to make them happy. We will use them for future projects.

I loved working with Seth, Luke and every single other employee from Windle's that was part of renovating and adding on to our home. This is true anytime you spend money on something but I highly value being able to trust those I'm working with and throughout the entire process from start to finish they never broke my trust once. They were refreshingly honest and upfront anytime we were discussing our project. We loved our project manager Ben. He was friendly, professional and went above and beyond his normal work hours to answer questions we would have and keep us in the loop about important updates and details about our project.We love our finished product! Selecting Windle Design and Construction to do our complete home renovation was the best decision we made when it comes to choosing contractors. Having been through other large renovations in the past, Windle D&C was by far the best. Each one of the Windle D&C team members was professional and always wiling to discuss multiple solutions to unforeseen issues that came up during the renovation. As anybody who has been through a renovation would know, there are always unforeseen issues, but working with a contractor that provides multiple solutions makes the process less stressful. Windle D&C never performed work or deviated from the plan unless discussed with us first.Windle D&C also made the planning and design phase easy and enjoyable. Being able to see renderings of the planned project and physically discuss the pros and cons of sample finish materials helped us to make more informed decisions and ensure we are getting exactly what we envisioned.Overall, we love our design, we love the finished product, and we can’t wait to spend many years in our amazing home. There are not enough words to describe how happy we are with Windle Design and Construction. What started as a full house stucco remediation led to a first floor renovation and expansion of our outdoor living space as well. When we first met Seth we knew they were the right choice for us. We could not have asked for a more reliable, trustworthy and talented company. Seth, Luke, Ed and Ashley (as well as the rest of the crew) were able to collaborate all of our ideas with their knowledge and creativity to bring our dream to life! We recently had Windle DC do a full kitchen renovation for us. From the initial visit until the final walkthrough we couldn’t be happier with the communication, quality of work, and overall experience. We have an old home and were worried we’d be limited in options of what we could do. We were also worried the expenses would grow depending on what was uncovered, material costs, and logistical issues. With Windle we were given thorough design plans that were much better than what we originally envisioned. Also, the original quote was exactly what we ended up paying all in. The team handled our biggest fears and hesitations beautifully and gave us the peace of mind we needed with such a big project.My wife can be finicky, indecisive, and a clean freak but Windle was able to meet her high standards which helped me more than they know! I’m grateful we took a chance on Windle DC only on a word of mouth recommendation from a work colleague. Their process was transparent and efficient which seems rare with contractors. Long overdue review. We selected Windle Design for a basement demo and remodel in 2020. We primarily worked with Seth (owner), Ethan(project mgr) and Ashley (design architect). In challenging times, the Windle team did a great job. The project finished a bit behind schedule but most of this was beyond control (PA mandated work stoppage and supply chain issues). We primarily worked with Ethan who was super communicative and detail oriented. Ashley was very responsive and accommodating for changes in designs that we needed. The sub contractors did excellent work and worked seamlessly with Ethan. Overall very pleased with our new space. Highly recommended meeting and getting an estimate from them.

Having recently moved to the area from another state, my wife and I purchased a stucco house and began having problems with it shortly after moving. After 3 years of dealing with sub-standard contractors, we enlisted the help of our previous out-of-state design and build contractor for recommendations. We found Windle through this process. Seth was fantastic; we had our first call in the summer of 2019, and we had a contract signed with work set to begin that November. Our home required the following: 1) full exterior renovation, converting the stucco to Hardie board siding, installing new windows and doors, and installing a portico, 2) widening garage bays and installing new garage doors, and 3) interior renovations, including office renovation, painting in multiple rooms, and a renovation of the master suite, including a brand new, redesigned master bathroom. The work took just under one year to complete, including a multi-week stoppage due to Covid restrictions. The final product is nothing short of spectacular. Windle's process is what sets them apart from others (and was very similar to our out-of-state design and build firm). Prior to the work starting (and to a lesser degree during initial demo), Seth spent considerable time working with my wife and I, and he pulled in his in-house design experts to help us align on the details (e.g., tile, fixture selections, etc.). As work began, our assigned project manager was onsite daily, providing us with verbal updates, along with email and text updates after hours. We were very much brought along during the process, and issues (as they do arise with projects of this scale) were clearly communicated along with recommendations for addressing them. The first comment I made to Seth on that first call during the summer of 2019 was that my wife and I were looking to build a long term relationship with a first class design and build firm. And we've certainly accomplished that. We look forward to working with Seth and his team as my wife and I continue to plan future renovation projects.

We just used this company, i have been using contractors, electricians plumbers and painters for almost 50 yrs but have NEVER encountered such talented folks as Windle and company, they just did our bathroom and are doing our roof next, these are the most honest and skilled workmen i have had the pleasure of employing, our bathroom is beyond anything we imagined, these folks can build and fix anything, their subcontractors are top notch, truly, never met such honest guys, we discovered a huge electrical issue in our kitchen while they were here and their electrician came over and like a magician fixed it all for a very reasonable price, they clean up every day, we have been ripped off a few times over the yrs by contractors but not this group, would unequivocally recommend them
