Initial work was fine, but within about six months problems appeared with their work. Well within their "warranty" period, I contacted them. The owner came to the site and agreed the project was not properly done (not enough fill underneath by the crew) and they would fix it. She also suggested another spot to be done when they came out. When I got the estimate for the new spot, I decide I just wanted their first work to be fixed. I have not heard from S&J since, even though I've tried to contact them by phone and email, SEVEN times in total.

John, Scott, Jose and crew were a pleasure to work with on my asphalt driveway install in Chesnee! I was able to look at some of their driveway installs before hiring them. I appreciate the customer service and look forward to a long lasting driveway!

Nothing wrong with the folks that came. The finish productwas not great. Definitely left the yard a lot worse than it was!And the driveway was left no where near what we expected.Large scrapes in the asphalt that we’re still not sure what or whenwill be done to fixed even though it was discussed two days in a row. At the bottom of the day! Shop around.Service: Driveway replacement

I've heard good things about this company and they were local so I decided to go with them for a small driveway job. They came out estimated the job, gave me a price, I agreed to that price and less than a week before the job was to be done they raised the price by $1300. That's just bad business practices. So I would not recommend them anytime soon. Unfortunately for them, they also bid a big job where I work. They wont be doing that one either.

Not very happy as a neighbor of next doors new asphalt. They were asked to remove rocks, gravel, asphalt from my lawn that had been put there by their equipment with their 4 employees standing on top of it. THEY DID NOT! Several days has passed and it's still there ready for my push mower to eat it up!

Complaint. S&J Paving LLC (605 Battleground Rd Chesnee, SC 29323) paved our driveway with new asphalt April 15 2016 with 1 year warranty. About 2 month later the first cracks appeared and were getting worse quickly. We called the company in September 2016 and they agreed to do the crack repair for free but insisted we pay for the sealing. As we understood later the sealing was not supposed to be done for at least 12 month after the new asphalt was installed. Within a week after this repair the cracks are back and the driveway looks bad. After many attempts we were able to reach the company but the owner rudely said he is no coming back and does not want to speak with us anymore. We requested the second opinion from other paving specialist. He said the “new” driveway looks like old and patched. More importantly, we will have to replace it within the next 3 years since the cracks will become worse quickly.

The absolute best company to work for. Also has their State Contractors License. Which most companies are required to have and don’t. You can’t go wrong hiring S & J Paving.
