This is my second time using Mid State Roofing for my roofing repairs. The first time was approximately 4 years ago and quality work was provided at that time as well. This time around I will be honest in that I first contacted another company who had been recommended to me. All was fine with the other company until they told me it would be a month before they could do the repairs. I had already located a small spot of water intrusion on my living room ceiling, which is what prompted me to seek roof repairs, and so, I could NOT wait a month. I contacted Mid State this past Tuesday and spoke with Blake to inquire if Mid State could help me sooner versus later. On Wednesday I confirmed an appointment for today, Friday. Thankfully, Tim was able to repair my roof this afternoon before the thunderstorms rolled in. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again. Thank you Mid State!

I called Mid State to schedule an appointment for an estimate. The person I talked with was friendly and took my info and told me someone would be calling me to set up the day and time. I waited a little over 3 weeks and heard nothing so I called them back. I was then told Mid State does not give estimates for residential customers. I told the person I was talking to that it would have been nice if someone called me to tell me this instead of having me wait for nothing. I got the feeling from her that I was not important at all. She then asked me if I would like them to come out for $300+ minimum charge and do the work ,if it was going to cost more I would be responsible for paying that. I would like to be able to put such things as a roof repair into my budget so I would need an estimate first. Needless to say I told her I would be giving my business to another company. If you have a leak Mid State will NOT TAKE A PEEK as their commercial states.

I have managed commercial properties in the Columbia area for 25 years. The worst problem a property manager can have is a persistent leaks, whether it’s coming from the roof, the foundation or a window. I’ve used a dozen different companies over the years, with very little success - the source of leaks is so difficult to find.Since the day I called MidState to help me with a leaking set of windows at a new property I had just taken over - I’ve never used another roofing or waterproofing company again. They found the source and fixed a leak that the tenant had been dealing with for years! They’ve repeated that successful performance for me at many other buildings since then.They’ve installed new roofs for me and their service is impeccable. They clean up their job sites beautifully, and they go the extra mile to ensure their customer is happy. I can’t say enough about how much knowledge and experience they bring to every job. They are friendly, honest and a joy to work with!

I own my own business and I can honestly tell you that Mid State Roofing sets expectations and then blows them out of the water. I use them for everything roof related from commercial to residential. They are awesome. They take pictures of damages and keep you posted on the job status. Best of all the job is done quickly and done right. Thank you Mid State!

I called Mid State Roofing on July 6 after hearing multiple ads on the radio about them and how wonderful their service was, from small jobs to large. I needed someone to take a look at my gable vents on either side of my roof, as the wood appeared to be rotten and one side of one of the vents had shifted out away from the side of the house and there was a large hole there. I needed to know if a repair was possible or if I needed to replace. The man on the phone informed me that it may be a couple of weeks before someone got into contact with me to come out because they were dealing with repairs from a recent storm. I said that was fine and gave him all my information: name, address, phone number. To this day, October 2, I have NEVER received a return phone call from anyone at Mid State Roofing and have since had to seek service from someone else. Now every time I hear the Mid State ad on the radio, I am reminded of how the work on my house must not have been big or important enough.

Mid State won the bid on my house, garage, and shed because they are responsive, positive, prompt, and knowledgeable about residential roofing options. Austin, Blake, Edna, Tim and others treated me and this job with respect and professionalism. Customer service and quality mean very much. This was a multi faceted job requiring coordination with other licensed professionals. Mid State was very patient during the process.

I have been using them for years, they are always prompt, polite and do a very good job. Their prices for jobs have been the lowest price of multiple estimates we've had on those jobs. They were able to do an entire roof of a garage that had an old asphalt roof, with a membrane roof and had this roof that is 40 feet wide by 70 feet long done in a single day and they assisted in moving the equipment on it out of the way and then putting it back.

We were presented with what we felt was an exorbitant bill for the hours spent. We asked if we could have a couple of days to look it over (thinking the pages behind the total bill would show a breakdown) and were told sure. All it actually showed was a total price and a bunch of nice pictures which are good to have. When we had the audacity to ask for an itemized list of hours worked and materials used we were presented with one on the same day. However, it was given to us in a surly manner and we were told he wasn't leaving until he received a check. We were not about to write the check until we reviewed the itemization. We were then told "I'll call the police." And replied, go ahead. We had done nothing wrong. He had already found a "mistake" of $741 and had reduced the bill by that amount. Gee, I wonder if we had paid them at completion of the job and not asked for an itemization if that mistake ever would have been corrected? The work was done adequately but what we felt was in an inefficient manner at times. There was never a question as to our paying the bill. We simply wanted to see exactly what we were paying for. We had kept track of the hours ourselves and they didn't come up to the total we were presented with. We were not aware that they included their loading the truck and their travel time as "hours worked." Our fault for not asking but we had never run into that before and it would have been nice to know that up front. Obviously we won't be using this company again. We felt insulted and threatened for no reason.

We called Midstate Roofing Inc to install a new roof on my dad's house, my dad was on a very strict budget, the guy's showed up on time and went to work immediately, they had to replace a good bit of the wood that had damage, they replaced all of the damaged wood, installed new shingles, and was finished in no time leaving no mess behind, other than the beautiful new roof, you couldn't even tell they had been there, we were super impressed with their punctuality, prices, and professionalism, I definitely recommend using them!

They fixed my slate roof for much less than another roofing company quoted. The other company wanted me to redo a lot of my roof. Mid state just fixed the broken shingles. They took pictures of all the repairs.I would use them again and recommend them

Mid State overcharged for my repair. 1 year later and my window is leaking in the same place as their repair. When I contacted them, they refused to repair it without charging again. I can't recommend at this time.

I want to thank Larry for working with us. A lady I cut grass for had them fix a leak on her roof. There was a lot of misunderstanding on her part and with dealing with insurance. There was some miscommunication along the way. Larry spent alot of time working with her. Issues have been resolved and she now has peace of mind.
