Wow! What a team. 8 months to build our house. From the design team, admin and project management, cannot be more appreciative of how good they were. They did EVERYTHING they said they would. Amazing communication was on top of everything but so important for us as we were in Chicago. Loved dealing with every person at Front Light. As good a team I have ever dealt with anywhere. As you can see, I am totally satisfied (ecstatic) with the whole team and company.

We were extremely happy to have worked with Frontlight Building Company, having them build our custom home in 2023. We did speak to a few other builders before making the decision to have Frontlight build a home on our lot. We made the right choice. Everyone in the organization has been professional and cared very much about building us a great home. It is an incredibly detailed process which they made as easy as possible. A significant advantage is their having a design center at which we were able to pick out all of our finishes and fixtures in one day, working with their excellent designer. The work has been excellent as the construction team is robust, experienced, and they hold any and all sub-contractors to a very high standard.With such a complex process, it is inevitable that issues can arise, but they worked through them completely with full transparency and fine solutions. I can truly commend their integrity and so appreciate the quality of the work. They have been great about dealing with any issues that have arisen, and I am confident that they will continue to do so. We have friends who have worked with other builders and have not had the same positive experience that we and other Frontlight customers have had. We would have no hesitation to have Frontlight build us another custom home. Anyone consulting with them to build a home will be able to appreciate the innovation, professionalism, integrity, and depth of this organization.

February 2024I closed in June 2023. Just updating with a couple of photos. I am still in love with my home.I am over the moon excited to begin the journey of building a home with Front Light Builders. I have been embraced and made welcomed by the entire team! Thanks to Martin Roache for recommending I look at this builder! Great recommendation!!On Wednesday last week, I spent 7 hours with Julie. She was a great asset in my design process. I felt very comfortable with her and can't wait to see the end product.On Thursday, I spent time with the 'operations team'--my term not theirs! I am comfortable with ALL members of the team. This is the 3rd house we have built and it was the best overall experience of the 3. There are always challenges that come up when building a home, but being able to work with a builder like Front Light made those issues insignificant. They take pride in building a quality home and it shows in the finished product. From top to bottom, the staff are all professional, courteous, and willing to help. The best recommendation I can give is that I would use Front Light again to build my next home.

Front Light completed our home in 2023, and we are extremely pleased with the entire build process! They worked with us each step of the way. We had regular, sometimes daily conversations with FLBC as we decided on the appropriate home for our needs, which was unique and challenging. We desired an ADA accessible home for our son, with wider doors, a roll-in shower, an open flow within the home to maneuver a wheelchair. They did it all! FLBC had a concept of how this accessible home should be. They designed a perfect home for our needs, including an exterior ramp, and appropriate sight-lines on the porches to be able to enjoy the views from wheelchair height. The craftsmanship is top-notch with each room of the house designed to meet what our vision was. Each week the excellent site project manager provided updates and photos of the build process, and the design team did the same with our interior selections.Front Light is like family to us, and their personal customer care was and continues to be spectacular. They provide post-closing warranty support, continuing their outstanding customer relationship. The FLBC motto is Lowcountry Living at its Best. It certainly is with the home they built for us!

Frontlight built our current new home and our previous home. We loved our previous home so much, we asked them to build our new one. Many high-end items are included in their price, which makes it nice without spending a ton on upgrades. Easy to work with and a beautiful finished product.
