I had a problem with draining my washing machine. Mr. Rooter did a temporary fix at my request so I could consider the more extensive fix. I decided to do the extensive fix that will correct the problem permanently. The technicians from Mr. Rooter - Brady and Dominic - were on time, pleasant, clear about what they were doing, and finished in the estimated time. When they had to add one more step to be sure things worked correctly, Brady was clear about what they were going to do and the exact price. The area is clean and returned to the state it was before their work. I recommend Mr. Rooter!

The shower sprung a water leak on the day before Thanksgiving. Brit answered the telephone and put me on the waiting list. I did not expect to get a call back, but within 2 hours my leak was fixed! R.J. came to my home. He was very polite and professional. He quickly took care of the leak and the price was fair. This was a very exceptional experience. I would recommend Mr. Rooter in Sioux Falls.

I had to call for help on a very cold and windy day. My waste vent was froze solid and I was unable to get on the roof myself. I contacted Mr Rooter at about 10am and by 2pm the awesome service tech JON LUKE was there with a smile. Jon was amazing and informative! We had water from a shower back up in the basement and I called Mr Rooter. We got off to a rocky start due to a lack of communication from them. In fact all communication was initiated by me because I was afraid to leave my home without knowing when they might show up.About 30 hours later a tech showed up. The technician (RJ Cook) on the other hand was extremely efficient and knowledgeable. He was polite and respectful of our home throughout this service. Sadly he wasn’t able to resolve the issue during his visit and had to return 2 days later to do a water jet clean out. It is now resolved.Now a day later I’m going have to call the company again. We’ve received no receipt, not even a copy of the estimate I signed and the tech indicated he would provide a map of our sewer pipes from his scope process. He received full payment his first visit and did verify our email they had on file so, it all should have been to emailed.Even when the technician is good the company should be calling the customer when there are delays. Mr Rooter is well aware the customer is waiting on them in a situation like ours and, customer’s time is just as valuable.Services: Drain cleaning, Sewer cleaning

Do not make the mistake that I did by not paying attention to the charge versus the actual work done by Mr. Rooter (associated with Airseve). To replace two basic water line valves (Cost even inflated $50) and a bathtub drain pipe (which I supplied!) I was charged over $500 for a job that took the individual only 50 minutes to complete. You do the math on the labor! I have to own my own stupidity, but even when I called their office to complain, they said they would look into it. No callback or response from them. Just got my credit card bill, and of course, they charged the full amount. Was I stupid for agreeing to the work, Yes. But when labor is being applied at $400/hr…. what crosses your mind about the integrity of the business? PLEASE don't make the mistake I made! Find someone else.

Technician came to investigate a clogged drain on Friday. When he left, the kitchen sink was now leaking badly — so badly that we could not pour anything down the drain without it going everywhere, making the sink unusable. They said they would send someone to return to fix it that day or Monday. No one came.We called about it on Monday. They said they would look into it and escalate to their manager. No call back. It has now been 4 days where we are unable to use the kitchen sink because of the damage they caused. They have not provided any solution or sent anyone out to look at it.

The repair fellow was prompt and courteous. He quickly repaired what we needed done. He did, however make a recommendation to install a ‘stop’ for about $125 for an item that shuddered. I knew that it would not fix the problem so declined it. The repair guy himself admitted it would do no good. He also recommended replacing 22 stops ( water shutoffs) that cost about $5 each for $1700. So buyer beware that the company tries to oversell unneeded products. Being a fraud investigator I picked up on that right away. However a naive person could be taken advantage of. Best to get a 2nd or 3rd opinion before proceeding with additional work.
