Their 4 ft man doors are junk. Horrible quality. Internal hinges and locks fail. They sag and stick constantly. Everything else is fine..just don't buy the 4 ft man door

It was 107 degrees on Monday June 6. I came to Ballinger to buy some metal products. I had an empty 2 gal water jug. I filled it halfway with the faucet in the customer breakroom. Stella at the front desk, whom I had just paid for what I bought, I asked her in my most pitiable tone of voice, "Do you happen to have any ice for my water jug?" She said "Sure" and she grabbed a plastic Mueller bag and went to the 2nd floor, and down through the stairway I could hear her shoveling ice in the bag from an ice machine. Down she brought about 8 lbs of ice which I most gratefully took and blessed her and called her a saintly woman. I REALLY needed some cold water at my job site in Paint Rock down the road 16 miles.Stella, you don't know how high you lifted my spirits that day. You are a fine representative for Mueller.

Parents bought first metal roof from them in 1973 I believe. It is still working. Unfortunately, recently they refused to assist with a strap down to my trailer. They blamed it on their insurance if course to which I replied, get a new insurance company. In the end this policy contributes to less safe roads and increases my liability - two eyes are better than one. As a result I changed to Sweetwater Steel, the original Mueller people. They were much more helpful. A business needs good materials and good service, it's unfortunate this long standing company is losing the service side.

I want to give a shout out toy delivery driver today, he bent over backwards to make sure my delivery was on time, once he got here his truck broke down and his forklift wasn't working so he went out of his way to get his battery changed on his fork lift to assure I get my delivery before the hard rain set in, he is very nice to me and my family, couldn't ask for a nicer person, His name was Wayne, and he kept saying he is sorry for his truck to break down on my property and waited for the qrecker to show up way past dark, As a driver and workerhe gets a 10 in my book, your company needs alot more of these hind of drivers, he is the real deal with great customer service.
