We moved a house, a garage and a tiny house from Austin to Bastrop. The roof of the house had to be cut off to make the move. We were expecting rain so the job had to get done quickly. We received proposals from several different roofing companies and we chose Adrian Vargas of A&A Roofing. Reason being that Adrian was responsive, returned all of our calls and answered all of our questions. None of the other contractors were willing to do that. Adrian met us at his private home - this helped to build trust. That was important because Adrian‘s price was so much lower than everyone else that we were skeptical. I sent Adrian the exact specifications of what I wanted which was a standing seam metal roof. This is the Cadillac of roofs with a lifetime guarantee. Adrian was on site to oversee the project and his expert crew (Baro and Angel) plus another couple of helpers took the time necessary to do the job correctly. Several years ago we were searching for a contractor to construct a 10' x 48' wrap around porch and pergola on our home, and a 10' x 40' extension on a garage. We had noticed an A&A Construction vehicle in Bastrop, and decided to give them a call.The owner, Adrian Vargas, contacted us and came out to look at the project. Outstanding work! I normally do not write reviews but after seeing A&A Roofing and A&A Construction work, they are truly top notch. My project was a custom 40’ x 40’ garage. Initially Adrian met with me for the roofing and after watching him and his guys work, I realized how professional they were and hired them to complete the remainder of the work I had. Below are some of the areas I took note of.Professionalism- Adrian and his crew arrived at the time they said they would and completed the work within the timeline they stated. They kept a clean and organized work area while reducing material waste. The crew were easily identified by their A&A logos and were very respectful.Communication- Adrian met with me and discussed the work I was wanting. I received detailed bids describing what work was to be completed. There was no guess work about what was going to be done and what materials would be needed. I received insurance and bond cover sheets showing that the companies were covered, and all parties were protected during the construction. Anytime I called or emailed Adrian I received a response immediately and was given updates regarding the progress.Quality and affordability- From time to time I would check in with the crew and I observed them to be hard workers and were on the same page. During the construction I could see that two different sides of the project were being worked on and the work looked identical, meaning the crew utilized the same building practices and techniques. Adrian would inspect the work and there were no hidden material or labor surprises. The prices Adrian gave me were very fair and the quality of work was excellent.Crew management and leadership- The first day Adrian arrived with his crew and had a meeting about what needed to be done and how it was going to be accomplished. Throughout the construction Adrian would provide guidance for the crew and keep me informed about the progress goals for the day. We contracted a&a roofing to replace the corrugated tin roof on our hundred plus year old Texas ranch house in Caldwell county. From the onset Adrian was responsive on time and his prices were better than other companies I had contacted. I can't say enough about the quality of the finished product. The whole experience was better than any other construction company I've ever dealt with. The crew was on time every day and worked hard all day. They cleaned up every evening. During the process of installing the new roof we decided to hire Adrian to replace the siding with hardiplank. Again the crew wad great and did an excellent job. That's not an easy task when you're dealing with a home that was added on to periodically over a hundred and fifty years. I just want to thank Adrian and his crew for a job well done.

I had existing atrium door removed and stucco and rock exterior matched and interior wall texture and paint matched. It was small job but he was willing to take it on.
