I work with Homestead Roofing for two of our properties and this is my review for a metal roof replacement, and I have to say it was an EXCELLENT experience!Previously, I had a corrugated metal roof and we had issues with several leaks. I received quotes from about 6 roofing companies and decided to go with Homestead because of their work history, knowledge with metal roofs, and ease in communication (as roofs are a LONG term relationship!)Once we receive the quote and signed the contract….within a week, we were able to start the replacement. The workers were extremely efficient and Kerry was great at answering any questions I had. Had an excellent experience through the installation process, and I am excited to continue with this relationship over the years!Would certainly recommend them for anyone looking for roof repair, replacement, or evaluation !For our other property, the prior owners installed the roof and homestead roof still keeps the warranty per address :)

We hired Homestead Roofing to install an architectural shingle roof with metal accents on our new construction home. We can’t say enough about Travis and his crew at Homestead Roofing.We are building our home in Spring Branch, serving as our own GC. As we anticipated, we had bump and struggles with different trades, some far worse than others.Not only was Travis an exception to that rule, he went above and beyond to help us rectify timeline issues he didn’t cause, helped us find the best products to make sure our home was as airtight and watertight as possible and even made some custom metal flashing to match the copper on our roof for the masons to use on our home! Travis Macha and Homestead Roofing are awesome! I had an incredibly difficult roof for our house. We built a three story house with a 12/10 pitch with a ridge of 46 feet. Travis and his men put a metal roof on for us with ease. It was a work of art just to watch them. Our roof looks terrific and we still needed them to come later for a couple awnings and cut out and they did so with expediency. If u need a roof in the Canyon Lake area call Travis. Suffered large amount ($100K) of damage from a tornado that hit Canyon Lake in April 2023. Mr. Carson provided an extraordinary team of people to repair all the damage, he even went so far as to assist with the insurance company (for which I will be forever grateful).He and his team are the epitome of professional, always responsive and very respectful of myself, my husband and our property. Will certainly be using them for other projects. Wish there was a higher rating than 5 stars that I could give because they most certainly earned it.

Homestead Roofing in Canyon Lake.It picked homestead because they are local and have been doing this a while. I have seen their work and heard good things from my neighbors. Chris was easy to talk to and get ahold of with any questions and concerns. I appreciated his professional advice and free estimates. The hard working crew took our old roof off and put a new roof on in one day in the late June heat. I was impressed. They installed a 50 year shingle on the house and told me if we have any problems or concerns to call them right away. Their crew did their best job cleaning up everything. They put tarps down and picked up nails with their magnetic tools and then took their leaf blower to clean off the patio and sidewalks and deck. Everyone was polite and professional and respectful. Did I say they are local? They want to keep a good reputation with their community and surrounding areas. They aren’t a company that is here today and gone tomorrow and you never hear or see them ever again. They even helped us on the price a bit. They helped “getting a new roof” off our to do list. Buyer beware. Illegal practices. This company is having homeowners commit insurance fraud without them even knowing, by waiving deductibles. This is illegal in the state of Texas. They have been reported to TDI (Texas department of insurance). Do not let your Claim be part of their illegal activity .

This all started with me reading some testimonials about Homestead Roofing late in the evening. I saved their number on my phone to call them the next day, when the call went through accidentally, and like most of us, I hung up real quick hoping it didn’t connect. Minutes later my phone rang from a guy named Kerry from Homestead Roofing saying he had missed a call from my number. The rest is History! For one of those “not looking forward to projects” like replacing your roof, this was one of the most comfortable, not much effort, no stress projects I have ever been through. When the concept of customer service and a job well done sometimes seems to have gone by the wayside these days; Homestead Roofing is AMAZING! Like many other homeowners in Avery Park Neighborhood we were hit by all the hail and wind damage from recent storms. Our door was knocked on endlessly by roof companies, but we ended up choosing Homestead from a personal recommendation; no door banging here!From the first phone call with Kerry I knew he was our guy. He was very personable, quick to respond to my calls and texts, flexible with my schedule and explained things really well. Once we got a date set it happened so quick I thought I missed it!
