We hired Dwyer to do a full kitchen remodel after consulting with a number of local remodel and restoration companies. Their bid was comprehensive and detailed (almost a little overwhelming). They were quick to answer questions and turn the bid back around with adjustments.The trade workers were competent and always polite. There were a few bumps as I would have expected with any major project. Dwyer responded to each concern in a timely and fair manner. In the end we were very happy with the result and would be willing to use them again.Some details about the project:* removed a load-bearing column and replaced with a LVL span. This required adjusting plumbing, electrical and HVAC around the area, as well as working with the city and a structural engineer for approval.* replaced 4' fluorescent bulb lighting with recessed LEDs.* custom cabinets (amazing work on this!) and new counters. This included converting the kitchen island into a peninsula.* rebuild pantry with a slightly different footprint to better utilize space.The majority of the work was done over about 60 days, with touch-ups and adjustments going on about a month longer.Service: Kitchen remodeling

I can't speak highly enough of Dan at Dwyer Restoration. A trusted friend in the home building industry recommended him for his honesty, integrity, and expertise, and after working with him we completely agree. His thoroughness and professionalism stood out throughout the entire process. Not only did he meticulously address our mold issue, but he took the time to educate me on various aspects—from types of mold and how they develop to the intricacies of the remediation process. I was also really impressed by his commitment to transparency. He made sure that I understood what was involved in every step of the process (and any issues we might run into) ahead of time so that I could make the right decisions going forward. He was able to put my mind at ease about some surface mold issues which I could easily handle myself, and he also listened and investigated to determine the source of the real health hazard which was hidden within a wall. They went above and beyond by even calling my husband separately, ensuring everyone was well-informed. Dwyer Restoration truly sets the standard for excellence in their field. We are so grateful for the exceptional work and will definitely recommend them to any friends or family that find themselves in a similar situation as we were in.

My neighbor ran his car through my house in December 2019. The entire left side of my house was a huge hole and destroyed. Dwyer Restoration was recommended as the "disaster specialists". I am SO GLAD I hired them out of the 7 others I had come out to give me bids. They were the absolute BEST in the business to work with. I found them to be exceptional in 3 areas specifically:1. Communication2. Professionalism3. CleanlinessThere will always be bumps along the way with ANY restoration/renovation. The key is, to work with people that DO THE RIGHT THING. This is Rocky Garza, with Saltillo King . To all you vendors out there, this company is a thief. We worked very hard for 8 days, . Restoring a Saltillo tile floor. Floor came out amazing, I spoke to the customer regarding if she was satisfied with the floor. And she said the floor was amazing and beautiful. But the owner from Dwyer restoration. Dan said I do not care what the customer likes. I don't care if she likes it or not. I do not like it. So he did not pay me a balance of $5300. He took advantage of myself, and my crew. The owner is from New York. And this is not the way we do business here in Texas. Beware, to all vendors, and customers. And to all the insurance companies out there.

We had pretty severe fire damage in our detached garage and we were left with an absolute mess. Insurance was tough to deal with and very confusing, but Dwyer Restoration was with us every step of the way and helped us get what was reasonable and repair the damaged area. Dwyer Restoration strives for absolute excellence, has great customer service, and truly cares about their jobs and work. Worked very hard on damaged tile and this was the outcome beautiful restored tiles and over and over found myself in a never ending job with the Dwyer company constantly finding something to complain about mistakes and complaints were fixed and yet to be paid this company ripped off many workers and is getting away with money they owe I do not recommend using untrustworthy contractors such as Dwyer for any work needed straight snakes is what they are

I want to say your family will want to have this team perform your work.... they are excellent at what they do.My family and I would recommend Dwyer Restoration to anyone. Dan, Mark, Guido, and the rest of their team are the best in home repairs I have seen since moving to Texas in 2014.Dan and Mark are in constant communication with their clients so there is never any guess work on what the next steps in a process are, how the work is progressing, or what issues if any are occurring. In our case Dwyer had to advocate for us with our insurance company on multiple occasions because our insurance company as with many insurance companies did not seem to want to pay for quality work and wanted to take the cheapest route possible. Dan was able to get our insurance company to agree to making the repairs based on his recommendations and we are very pleased with the final product.Once the work began Mark was at our home at least once a week and was constantly making sure his team performed superior work. If a job was not up to his standards the job was done again until it was exceptional work in Mark’s eyes.The teams Dan and Mark sent were fast and efficient in all aspects of their job duties and were very clean in their work and professional. Guido especially is a jack of all trades and could make even the hardest jobs seem easy.The only issue we had was sometimes the teams would be late, but usually no more than 20-30 minutes late. This could have been for traffic reasons or because another job was taking longer because they want the work to be perfect. Once I addressed this issue with Mark the problem was quickly addressed and a window of time availability was given of when to expect the team at my home. The teams were always within the window presented from Mark and did an excellent job.My recommendation to anyone would be to use Dwyer Restoration for all of your home renovation or home repair needs. If you are looking for superior work at affordable pricing this is the team for you and your family.

We had 3 recessed wall niches and a big, weird insert next to the fireplace in our living room. Dwyer Restoration fixed all that and every employee that came into the house was incredibly nice and did a really great job. Big fan of our Project Manager Jon, he was great at keeping me in the loop and getting all approvals for details I didn’t know existed. We had a custom cabinet with shelves installed in the living room to fill in the insert and the quality of that piece was amazing. Dwyer Restoration is a company of wonderful people. They helped work with a recalcitrant insurance company to make sure that we were paid for the actual amount of the damages that were incurred during a water damage event caused by the 2021 freeze and electricity loss here in Bulverde. Every employee was a pleasure to work with. Special mention Krystal(patience personified with customers not sure what they want), Jason(great coach on how to deal with aforementioned insurance company), Dan(all around great guy and owner), Paul(Super project manager with lots of advice and help), Paul's Dad Paul(another all around great guy to talk to and get advice from), and some I cannot remember their names. They worked with us on our schedule and we now have a master bath that is gorgeous. While the reason for needing them sucked, they made the process and work done a pleasure. We are so glad the work is finished but we are also going to miss the people we have worked with. My husband and I were in shock when the freeze of 2021 hit and our tankless hot water heaters froze, burst and flooded part of the house.We had no idea who to turn to and Dwyer Restoration was highly recommended and now I know why.Dan Dwyer spent many hours dealing with one adjuster after another since they were being so difficult. He always reassured me that he would be there to help. Finally his diligence and patience paid off and we got approval to start renovations.His team of employees and sub-contractors that were brought in were knowledgeable, respectful, on time but most of all trustworthy.Our project manager was exceptional. This was a second home and we were not there to monitor but he kept us informed of the progress, sent pictures and told us what to expect next. He always asked what I thought of the quality of work along the way. Making sure I was happy.He always told us when workers would be in the house too.At the completion of the job, Mr. Dan Dwyer personally came for the final walk through and even found some items that needed to fixed. Those items were fixed and he called again a month later to see if I had any other concerns about the work done. I highly recommend Dwyer Restoration! My husband and I had damage from the February storm and we called Dwyer. Even though they were extremely busy, due to the large number of people in the area that sustained damage, they were very quick to respond and to come out to our home. Jason was an incredible help to us in dealing with our insurance company - he helped us to negotiate the claim and navigate that process. We would not have been able to get all the repairs done properly without his assistance. Thomas managed the team that did our work and he was wonderful. He was great about communicating what was happening and when it would happen. He was always quick to respond to me and he made sure the work was all done properly. Krystal, in the office, was always helpful, pleasant, and professional. Chris did a fantastic job rebuilding our cabinets and with all of the woodwork. Honestly, everyone involved was easy to work with and professional. The project was completed as promised and we are completely satisfied with everything! This company does not disappoint!

As our project leader for mitigation, Logan was, and is, amazing. We 100% made the right choice after having significant water damage to our home, by calling Dwyer Restoration. Another company was called out first and many things were overlooked and not properly addressed. Additionally, insurance was a huge hassle and our adjuster was extremely difficult to work with. After seven weeks of battling with insurance, we called Dwyer Restoration. This was our last step before contacting a public adjuster. Dan walked through our property and was straightforward, honest, and let us know what concerns still needed to be tackled. Logan Wilson was assigned to us as our Project Manager and we have had the best service. From the first day, Logan was kind, courteous, professional, thorough, and addressed every aspect of our home. He took over the ominous role of working with our adjuster and took so much stress out of my role as a homeowner. As we are almost completely done with the water mitigation phase, we feel confident that our home has been mitigated in a way where there will be no further issues to be addressed in the future.Logan and everyone who works for this company understands how important our home and our belongings are to us. Some examples to demonstrate their team’s dedication are:One night after all the machines were routed out a window (which is necessary in order to allow an air scrubber to clean our air inside), it started raining. After a full day on the job, I didn’t want to call Logan so I want back to our property at 11:00pm to make sure water was not entering our home. I was not there more than 5 minutes and Logan arrived to make sure our home was okay and protected and that now water had penetrated our home. Logan drove over 30 miles in awful weather conditions just to check on our house! Who does that on their own?... (No one! but Logan and Dwyer Restoration). Additionally, we had a roof problem from another company. Once Logan found out about it, he and Jason guided us on how to properly address the situation to ensure the company came back and fixed it.We have experienced nothing, but hard work and respect from Logan, Dan, Isaiah, Hass, along with Pablo and the entire pack-out team. Both Dan and Logan took the time needed to answer any questions on multiple occasions throughout the process. My husband and I look forward to updating our review after the build-back, (restoration), phase is completed.

Although I handled the matter in San Antonio from Austin, Dan Dwyer was very thorough, very informative, yet patient throughout the whole process. In May 2020, we had a terrible leak from the master shower all the way down to the kitchen. Our plummer and mitigation company recommended Dwyer Restoration to us for restoration. The kitchen ceiling was a big hole and the master bathroom was destroyed and down to the studs. Dwyer did alot of the interface with our insurance company, worked with me to pick out the materials and were so helpful before the actual project. We were assigned to Mark Brown as our project manager. He was simply wonderful getting things scheduled and all of the various work steps done. A pleasure to work with. Guido was one of the guys doing all of the tasks to make me happy and he was great. We now have a beautiful new bathroom and kitchen. We highly recommend them for excellent workmanship and integrity.

Dwyer Restoration was hired to replace my roof due to hail/wind damage. They made it such an easy process getting approval through my insurance company and then completing the work. Katherine Leist was very thorough and informative as the estimator. She explained the process in detail and coordinated everything with the insurance company. Mark Brown as the project manager was in constant communication regarding every detail when setting up appointments and monitoring the on site work process. The contractors hired to perform the work restoring an area on the inside of my house due to a leak and removing and replacing the roof, downspouts and screens were all very professional and capable of accomplishing the work meticulously and timely. Guido Krum and Marcus took care of the downspouts, screens and inside work and were very helpful. Everyone involved were extremely knowledgeable. Dan Dwyer came through on his final inspection and was very thorough and had the contractors come back to fix some minor issues that the average person wouldn't even think of. He was very professional. I would recommend Dwyer Restoration for any job regarding house repairs. My experience was nothing but positive throughout the entire process start to finish. The roof looks beyond awesome and everything else is perfect.

Thomas Hernandez and the team at Dwyer Restoration did an excellent job repairing my kitchen after it suffered winter storm damage in 2021. They not only restored it to pre-incident condition, but made it look better than it did before. There are not enough words to describe how pleased I am with having chosen Dwyer Restoration to fix our home. From the onset, Mr . Dwyer was professional. He walked throughout our home that was affected by water damage. He pointed out areas that needed to be repaired and provided reasons as to why. He sat down with us to discuss how the company will deal with our insurance agency therefore, removing a burden on our part. When the adjuster came to our home to give us an estimate, Mr. Dwyer walked with them and again provided reasons for the repairs. He and his employees went above and beyond in everything they did. They were punctual to every appointment, they communicated constantly via emails, texts, and phone calls.
