I met Matt three yrs ago when he remolded a house next door to me. He let my mother and myself look at the house when they finished the remodel. My childhood house was in desperate need of a new roof. I called his office and his representative call me back and said a technician would be out later that afternoon. Eduardo, showed up, ready to take pictures to send to Matt. I spoke with Matt, after Eduardo inspected the roof. I received a quote the very next day. I had many questions and spoke to Matt for a week before I signed the contract. After I signed the contract, Matt called me with-in the hour. His crew showed up on time, worked all day, and cleaned up before they left. Matt was on site twice, and called to ask me if I was satisfied with his team’s progress. His team finished the job close to 5pm. The quote for the roof was spot on and worked in my favor because I was extremely nervous about the outcome! The roof is beautiful and the house looks great. Matt and his team did a great job restoring a house that will be passed down, from one-generation to the next.If you are looking for a construction company that cares for their clients, these people are the ones to contact. Matt and his team made it a mission, to make sure I was satisfied with their work.

Excellent work. Matt is extremely responsive and his team does a fantastic job. Questions and concerns I had during our remodeling process were answered quickly and any issues were resolved quickly. I'm very happy with the results of the remodel.We had our master bathroom and kitchen gutted. New flooring, paint and baseboards throughout the downstairs of our house. New window sills installed on all downstairs windows. The bathroom remodel portion has been completed for about a year and it's holding up beautifully!

To begin with, this crew showed up on time every day of our remodel. The people they put in our house were all fantastic. Genuinely good people who do a fantastic job. The estimate was spot on. The owner is absolutely obsessive about making sure the job is perfect in the customer's eye. We are so happy with our kitchen remodel. They took an old, dingy galley style kitchen and gave it a completely updated, sleek, clean look. My wife and myself are so happy with the outcome. Ask for Alejandro (Babe), Angel and Ms. Leti (she's the real boss). I wish every company gave the level of service that Hard Hat does. You will not be disappointed!!!! I also thought the final price was very fair. To recap, on time, good people, fantastic workmanship, spot-on estimate, good price, obsessive owner (he's a nut and I love him for it).

If you want the best of the best for home remodeling and restoration Hard Hat is your company! Being seniors, my husband and I were dubious about finding someone we could trust as we have had some terrible experiences. Matt, owner, and his team were superior. Not only was the work exceptional but he and his team were kind personable professional and continuously kept us updated as to what they were doing. We highly highly highly recommend them!!!

Hard Hat construction was recommended to me by a co-worker, and I was given Matt’s phone number to call for my father who was looking to have some foundation work done. I had no idea this was a point I would look back on that my life forever changed. I have worked with contractors and construction companies before, all terrible experiences and had very little expectation that this would be any different.I met Matt at my father’s house for his first walk through and initial quote. He was confident and knowledgeable and clearly experienced in his field with his very astute recommendations/suggestions which I appreciate. Matt started work on my father’s home after repairs and price were agreed upon. His team was punctual and polite and did nice clean work.Halfway into the repairs on my father’s foundation, my father’s health plummeted. I had to stop Matt’s team, and I was thrown into a caregiver role for my father. We spent months in and out of hospitals, saw every specialist and ran every test and ultimately my father was placed in a memory care facility. What stands out as exceptional during all of this about this contractor I barley knew, is that he (more than most of my family) called me regularly to check in on me and my dad. He did not always get a level headed customer on the other end of the line, there were plenty of calls where I was in the middle of full on emotional breakdowns and this guy still called. Still checked in. Still listened. The effort he put into offering his services if needed and his ear were beyond what most people offered to me, which was and still is a lifeline.I’ll skip ahead, it has now been 8 months since I first met the speed-talker that is Matt. I was able to have him complete the work on my father’s home so I could sell it and purchase a home that I could bring my father home from the memory care into for continued long term care. After we found a home that would work I had Matt do all of the work in our new home to make it accessible for my father’s wheelchair, added grab bars, convert bathroom to a walk in shower to accommodate his nurses when they come by, put up railing – anything I could think of to make a space that would be happy for my father. Matt completed the work last week, and we could not be more happy with it. His guys, as per usual, got in – got the work done and got out knowing I am trying to bring my dad home as soon as possible. Great humans are hard to find in this world, often non-existent but not the case here. Matt has forever changed my life and has been there with my husband and I as we navigated into caregiving roles and I could not be more grateful. Matt cares so deeply about people and seems to make it a mission to out do expectations. I am normally a very closed off person and do not let people into my life, Matt somehow attached himself like a leach in the very best way. He has made the work I needed done to both properties the least of my worries and anticipated more of my needs than I even knew I had.Matt is quite frankly the best in my personal opinion, and I am already starting to make my list for the next property I need work done on. I could not imagine my life now without the one and only Matt Goff.-RBHG

We used Hard Hat Construction for a storage building with an apartment up front. Matt did a wonderful job and communication was excellent. Matt is now, not only the only contractor that we will use but we also consider him a friend. You won’t be disappointed!

Matt and his crew at Hard Hat Construction did a great job fixing the previous owners attempt at converting a one door garage to a 2 door garage. We were always kept in the know with each step, they promptly responded to our calls/questions and did the job for a competitive price. Highly recommend.

Lots of love to the Hard Hat Construction & Remodeling Crew. My event started out with a rogue raccoon. I tried raccoon rescue & raccoon relocation groups. No help. Hard Hat was up next. It took several days, but they managed to close off all entries to my roof (after making sure the raccoon was out for the evening). All without hurting the raccoon. They also did some touch up painting, removed a ceiling fan that was of no real use, & replaced some damaged trim. I was very pleased with their work.
