Mountain Star Roofing receives my highest recommendation. I was so impressed by their responsiveness to my calls and questions. From the front office to Fernando (account executive), my roofing problem was handled in the most professional manner. Mountain Star provided step by step help throughout the process from filing a claim to working with the adjuster and insurance company to the smallest detail like sending someone to pick up every last nail. Everything was done in record time. Their quality of work and materials used were also top notch. I’ve dealt with roofing companies in the past, but I was incredibly impressed by everyone at Mountain Star Roofing. Again, if you need a new roof, do yourself a favor and call Mountain Star Roofing.

Unprofessional and unreliable. No-showed twice. When they finally did show up they managed to stretch a “one hour job” according to their project manager into multiple days, didn’t do the job as agreed, did super shoddy work (see photo where they just shingled over solar anchors they were paid to remove), and still didn’t finish the job. Had to call them back to continue work and they STILL didn’t do all the work agreed to. Will have to hire another company to complete the job and fix any remaining mistakes.Update on 4//17: Finally spoke to someone other than the Project/Account Managers. Talked to Randy, and he was very courteous, direct, and professional. Where the account rep repeatedly tried to give the run around and deny responsibility, Randy immediately offered to fix the final remaining item flagged by the home inspector. Wish I'd talked to him first when the issues began. Happy to have this project finished so that final inspection can be scheduled.

These guys are a bunch of thieves!!! Beware people, starting with their owner Randy Ponce who promises you are going to make big bucks working for him!!FOR FREE! He tells you everyday to be there at 830 for training and all you do is canvass and get leads so he can make money off of you and free marketing. Fernando his manager that comes from Meraki is the same way as everyone already knows about that company. BEWARE

Tried to bully my mom into using them to replace roof. Threatened to cancel insurance adjuster coming out because my mom was not sure if she was going to be able to afford. We reported them to the city. I would look elsewhere for your business.

People of El Paso please beware of this company and his owner , he used to be in the Mobile network business, for which he is being sued, and also he currently being sued at mountain star, and at one point he was charged with aggrvted asslt with a ddly weapn, which is public records, also beware of his staff, they will bully you into signing a contract and giving them the insurance check, and also they will ask you for an electric bill to try and sell you solar panels, his “supervisor” used to work for M3r4ki so he is very pushy to get what they want $$, also A Jaramillo, and G Sosa are two of his 1099 “employees” which they get $25 per review, just look at how many likes the positive reviews have compared to the negative reviews, because 5 star reviews are either fake or from his “friends” please do some research before hiring this co

Getting roof replaced can be a headache, specially if you have a full time job and it's Monday to Friday. Mountain Star Roofing was a life saver. Eric and Andrea were just amazing. Had so much patience and guided me through this Hussle. Very professional and knowledgeable on the field they the work on. My place is a short therm rental, so of course it's busy and taking care of my clients is my priority. Mountains Star took care of me so I could do the same. They are real pushy requesting the money and don’t do the job that is initially requested. They take it upon themselves to decide what was best and don’t inform you and still want to charge for work that wasn’t even done and for hours that they claim was for labor and materials. I thought they were a great company by the reviews and because my friend recommended them and I trusted it but they ask you to write a review before the job is even started. Mario has no spine when it comes to helping the customer. Don’t trust him or even the owner. They are just looking to fill their pockets as my dad paid over $6000. But it’s apparent they needed that money more than providing good quality service. Before they start the work on your home get an an itemized receipt/ contract for work that is supposed to be done, not some generic written receipt. They will charge your for labor and items that are not true. I had gotten a lawyer but the person my dad is just paid them again for work that was never done. All they did was patch a hole when they were supposed to replace our whole balcony and still charged my dad over $6000. They took it upon themselves to say this is what was needed instead without consulting with him but still wanted to charge him as if they did replace the whole balcony. Edit: I am dropping my review from 5 stars to 2. The workers who replaced my roof left A LOT of roofing nails. It is 5 months later and we are still finding handfuls of roofing nails. I've already lost a tire and had a nail pierce my shoe.I got in contact with Mountain Star Roofing at the beginning of the month for an estimate. They helped me with the insurance claim for hail damage. I highly recommend Mario. He is very knowledgeable about roofing repairs and insurance claims. The skylight was installed today but was damaged (scratched) as a result of lifting it on the roof. If I could give negative stars I would this company only lies and steals your time energy money even emotional well being. Do not give them the time of day as they will only give you the run around and even tell you to give them insurance checks before the appropriate time frame.
