They did a great job on my roof, even finished in one day! The reason they don't get 5 stars is because their roofers left trash in my tree after throwing it off the roof. I contacted them numerous times to come remove the trash as I could not get up there, they kept saying they were coming but after a few weeks I had to get someone else to get it down. Then the roofers wedged one of their hammers in the ironworks on the top portion of my house. Once again I requested that someone come remove the hammer as I am not getting on the top roof to do so. They said they would come and once again no one has shown up. Last but not least I was supposed to get some money back from my insurance after the job was done and when they decided to fight me on it, they said they had someone in their office that would help me and argue it out with the insurance company. I have literally never heard back even after inquiring a few times. So they will do a great job and then they never want to hear from you again. Which is crazy because I needed other stuff done on the house that they said they worked with people that they could recommend and I heard nothing from them. The communication about everything else was great but you can definitely tell that when the roof is up that is all they care about, not clean up or wrapping up lose ends.Services: Roof repair for storm & wind damage, Roof installation

When working with representative, he was attentive, courteous and professional. The owner, Mr. Luna was the same up until the time we provided him with the last payment; the courtesies ended (via text). The work was done timely and cleanliness was about 80%, the flower/shrub beds were not cleaned out completely. We had two HD antennas on the roof that were removed and not put back per the insurance claim estimate. They did not offer to put back when roof was completed. One their roofers said that we should NOT have anything like this on the roof, so we gave them away. Once I reread the estimate and contract, it was clearly stated that they would be removed and put back where they were. It was clear to me that this was not communicated to the person in charge. I think this is something that needs to be communicated clearly to the customer at the conclusion of the job that they were replaced per estimate. Also, the workers were smoking on the property and we found cigarette buds. The company should provide a cigarette bud container for them to discard their cigarette buds. Overall, the work was good. They also placed their business sign in front of our property without asking if it was okay. I thought this should have been a common courtesy to ask. Because roof replacements don't come around often, I feel it is the responsibility of the roofer to not only go thru the estimate of what will be done but do the same thing at the conclusion of the job. No one sat with us at the conclusion of the job to go thru the requirements to see if they were all met. They just came to get the check(s). Customer beware, read your estimate thoroughly and ensure everything has been met before signing over any checks. Overall, good work, roofer just needs to work more on communication with head person and perform an after-the-job checklist based on the contract and insurance estimate.Service: Roof repair for storm & wind damage

The team at RL Roofing Systems was very prompt, attentive and hard-working during the installation of the new roof. The work was completed in about one day and a half and they cleaned the area very well after completion of the job. The owner, Mr. Raul Luna, was able to work with my insurance company to include certain items that they missed or miscalculated in their original claim, as a supplement. This is the second time I’ve used RL Roofing in two properties. Most recently RL Roofing replaced my roof that had hail damaged in May of 2018. They are locally owned. A lot of roofing companies swept through town after a storm and are nowhere to be found if you need a warranty follow up call. RL Roofing team was professional, hard-working, and the jobsite was kept mostly clean. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a new roof or repair.

I received an automated request to review a roofing company with a very similar name here in Houston. I posted a 2-star review, which was generous. Unfortunately, Google had the wrong company. I am not sure how, since the Houston company has no physical address. Red flag. However, this company had a very professional response and that is when I realized the error. I called them to apologize and deleted the review. They were extremely nice about the whole thing. I would do business with them if I lived in El Paso.
