Well we stayed here for the weekend and all was going great until we checked out I had an issue with my personal belongings gone missing I tried talking to management but they didnt have supervisor manager or an assistant manager available only employees. I left my phone number so somebody could call me back and no one did two days later. I had to call them and to make a long story short management told me that it was my fault I probably miss placed it or lost it also, they do not tell you that they are not responsible for anything that goes missing in your room. Some of my friends noticed that their employees were going into their rooms, even though they had the do not disturb sign on the door. There’s no reason for these employees going in there but they did. We will never stop here again👎🏻

This hotel has went through a major change with much needed improvements. The many improvements made here are remarkable. This hotel is very clean and safe. The staff is a group of highly skilled professionals and very friendly. I recommend this hotel above all others in the area. You won’t be disappointed.Rooms: The rooms look and smell very clean

Had to stop overnight at the start of a long move to Pennsylvania. With all the stress of moving, it was such a breath of fresh air to be greeted with such lovely front desk ladies! Both the overnight and morning front desk ladies are soo sweet and made everything a breeze. They’re also pet friendly for a small fee! This is probably my last hotel in Texas and I’m so glad we picked this one :) 💗 I think the only slight con is that the walls are reallllly thin but there wasn’t many people for that to be a big issue! There’s also a subway right next to it which is nice.

Our family is traveling cross country to San Antonio for a wedding. My daughter is with us on this trip, taking time form University. She had a test due at 7pm, realized we would not make the hotel in time and stopped at this hotel, seeking a quite place for her 1 hour test online. When we walked in there was no one at the counter, she sat down in the empty lobby puller her computer out and started to do her test off of her own hot spot. A guy in tshirt comes to the counter and asked me you waiting on someone. I responded no sir, my daughter is needed to do a test for her University and we are wondering if we can use your lobby as a quite spot. He said no, we only allow paying customers to use our lobby. I stated we are not using your wifi, just need a quite spot. He responded look you arent spending money here oyu need to leave you dead beat. Well, I get it we indeed are not staying here, but used to be hotels had pay phones and allowed use of their restrooms for traveling salesmen and families. Seems pretty harsh to me. This young man need to have some manners and a class in customer service. Bet I will NEVER stay at this hotel or a Best Western if this is their narrow minded policy.

The tiled areas of the hotel room felt very slippery from whatever solution was used during cleaning. We had to use a towel and to wipe the floors to remove the residue.Rooms: The rooms have always been very clean. The only thing that we noticed on this stay was the tiled floor areas felt slick from whatever mopping solution was used and we had to go over them with a towel.

We stayed over the weekend October 7th - 9th. Room had a few live crickets. On October 9, 2023 we checked out. I happened to leave my suit bag that had inside 2 evening dresses, 1 Men jacket with shirt and 1 complete suit & pant with shirt in the room. I called front desk a few days later. Spoke with Deserae she was not aware and mentioned i needed to speak with manager Amanda. I spoke with Amanda and said she recalls suit bag being turned in that day by housekeeper who cleaned room. She saw bag was not in the place she left it and it appeared in another office room. She mentioned she suit bag had everything besides the 2 evening dresses. I explained dresses were in the same suit bag didn’t understand why they are missing. She said she needed to bring it to the owner Daniel Patel and call me back. It’s now been 1 week and 2 days waiting to get my items back. It was a very unpleasant stay.

The room was large and bed was comfortable, but when yellow-brown water comes out of the sinks and shower and the only thing the front desk can do is give me a twenty dollar discount because of supposed surprise hot water heater maintenance I just can't in good faith leave a good review. I mentioned the water issue to housekeeping as I was walking by and they said "Oh that just happens here from time to time".

While stranded in Flatonia for what will be a week, due to a certain car situation I will spare you any details on, this hotel has been a my main source of comfort and a great support to me in many, many ways. The staff has always been professional, efficient, and often times truly went above and beyond for me. The room has been clean, comfortable, and safe. The house maid and mister have been very proficient and speedy in the services I needed. There have been plenty of supplies here to get me through the tough times I’ve encountered and been enduring. Breakfast has been substantial and helped support and sustain me throughout the week so far. And the staff have been incredibly helpful, understanding, and supportive to me during this time, ensuring that I got the best rate possible throughout this time. I truly appreciate the comfort, support, encouragement, understanding, and professionalism from the staff here and the Best Western here. I highly recommend this hotel, whether your stay is planned or unplanned. Highly recommended, from an out of towner passing through.

Unless you love to watch only CNN and getting stuck in an elevator avoid this place at all costs. No USB outlets in rooms as well, I've stayed here quite a bit but for the last 2 weeks nothing but CNN when you turn on tv.Rooms: Dated no USB outlets for charging devices. Tv is default to CNN and basically only CNN.

Ive stayed here several times with no issue. Rooms are very nice and clean, and then there is the pool.. included with the price of your stay and when you get your towels from the front desk and head out to the not only unlocked and opened gate to the pool, all the lights were out as well. The pool was full of trash and leaves and the hot tub was freezing and did not work. There was no indication of these amenities, that I’m paying, being broken before booking or up until the point of stepping in the pool. Extremely disappointed that there wasn’t even a sign saying it was closed for repairs and the lack of safety is ludicrous.

Never disappointed. Comfortable beds, AC in this room works so well! So much space. I can work at the desk and not feel cramped. Fridge and microwave included in room. The bathroom is so nice and roomy.Room is so clean. The staff is amazing and nice. So happy to spend my week here.

We stayed here for the Round Top Antique Show since everything close was booked. First of all, the photos shown on the Google listing are NOT this hotel. There is no lake and no beautiful lobby like in the photos. I was very disappointed when we drove up. The girl at the front desk said the manager uses photos of another hotel in Vegas on their listing to lure customers. There was a used floss tool on the carpet in our hallway and it stayed there our entire trip. Showed how often they cleaned. The room did not feel very clean either, showers and sinks were stained, cracks in the wall, weird stains on the mattress cover, etc. Only interacted with one staff member at front desk and she was nice, at least. My grandmother's door safety lock locked her out of her room and they had to use a hanger to let her back in. Just an overall meh place. Wouldn't recommend.

We got a great price on the room.. When we arrived, the front desk staff was very professional. The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was clean. Everything was in working condition. The bed was was very comfortable. We didn't check out the breakfast. The only suggestion I would have is to update the carpets, but they are still in good condition. It seems like this hotel has had a lot of renovations done.

We arrived late night so we thought let's get a cheap room and the sign said jacuzzi room available. When we arrive the jacuzzi was out so we picked a regular room. The room was old the light switch did now want to turn off when it was time for bed. Also there was a wash cloth on the floor next to the bed. The restroom was a dingy white and there were a few mysterious stains on the wall. The air conditioner didn't seem to cool off that well either. Would not recommend honestly I was disappointed in how dirty the room was

This was a decent place to stay. We were coming in at night and the hotel is off the road with no street lights to mark the entrance, so we missed the turn into the hotel the first time and had to get back on the interstate to circle around to get back to the entrance. It was raining, so we pulled under the awning to unload. Well the frame of the awning was there, but there was no cover for the awning, so we all got wet, as well as our luggage got wet. Once inside 5 older ladies in our party checked in, each paying separately, but the guy helping us was very patient and took care of our request, although I had warned them when I made the reservation . We had 2 rooms with 2 queen sized beds in each room. Remember, there are 5 older ladies in our party sharing the two rooms. The rooms were large enough that we could spread out and have our own areas to spread out suitcases and the beds were very comfortable. They have a breakfast area with limited, but plenty of variety of food. Limited means no fresh cooked food; Cereal, limited fruit, breads, premade sausage/biscuits, etc. It definitely served our needs and kept us from blowing $10 on breakfast at a restaurant. Overall a decent place to stay.

It is an unfortunate fact that acts of kindness from a business are rare. In the midst of a potentially hazardous vehicle incident in the middle of a tornado warning last night, Veronica at the BW Flatonia was a port in the storm. While we awaited a repair truck, we made our way to the hotel during the scary downpour. There were no vacancies, but Veronica welcomed us in was kind and even gave us a blanket. We were on our way as soon as it was safe to leave. BW management should recognize her. She is the epitome of good customer service.
