Until recently, I never bought at Ace Hardware. No particular reason. I needed a small part and it was not at my local store but was at a near by store about 30 miles away. I could have driven there, but I could also order it and have it delivered at my store. Ordered on Monday to be delivered on Saturday. Saturday came no notification. I went to the store just to check…. Nope. They told me it wasn’t there and the next truck would not be there before the following Wednesday. Grrrr. Sunday, early AM, I am notified that it had arrived. Went down after lunch. Nope….. not there. FINALLY got there the next Saturday. NOT HAPPY. The Monday after I checked, I ordered same part from Amazon. Got it in two days. The manager here is a joke. Have talked to former employees that she is a nightmare to work for. She manages two stores, including the one where I was getting the part from. She could have picked it up when she went there to “manage”. NOT HAPPY

The whole staff that I have met are always helpful and nice. Most of them will go the extra mile to make sure you are finding everything you need. The store is clean and well lit. The location is easy to find and get into and out from.

The largest and best selection of plumbing, electrical, shop tools, home remodel, pet needs, livestock needs, lumber, welding gases, raw metal, and everything in between in the area. It has more than most with reasonable pricing if you consider the drive and your time to find better pricing. They will also order anything from Amazon for you on their prime business account. Order ahead because they Deliver to Quitaque on every thursday, you can pick it up there. Combined with a NAPA auto parts store, it's a one stop shop.

Friendly staff only place in Floydada so it works but price is Higher than other hardware stores. Convenient. Unless going to Lubbock. Home Depot.
