The crew who put on the roof were truly artisans. I was a little skeptical when I opened the door to a young man with a J Wales shirt on. I wasn't going to be sold on something I didn't need. He wasn’t pushy but very knowledgeable about the damage that a recent storm had done in the area. He told me I might not see problems for months, but because the integrity of the roof had been compromised, I would probably see them in the future which could mean costlier repairs. After getting on my roof and actually showing me where the problems were, they gave me an estimate that was reasonable and clear. They were professional, competent, and quick. Their price was very competitive to the other bid I got and during the process they kept their price as close to the estimate as possible. No shady price gouging after they started the project which I really appreciate. Now my new roof is beautiful! I would absolutely hire them again and will highly recommend them to all my neighbors and friends.

My answer to the question “did you use this business, was No but should be not yet. The reason for this is Josh Wales was a straight up honest man who knows his field. Our roof needed some minor repairs and not ready for a new roof. So Josh comes by our home communicates this to my husband and offers to do the minor repairs no strings attached. He did the repairs himself. We spoke business and life for a good 30 min. Josh Wales is Kind , honest, very thoughtful and does what he says he will do. I am just waiting for the next storm so Josh can come take a look and hopefully repair it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you JOSH WALES you and your business is top notch.

We hired this company back in May Josh Garvin approached us to do the repairs we had a health storm that damaged our roof our garage door or a Bay window are fence and a lot of your decorations he told us his company was company was able to repair everything without going through different contractors we spoke to him for hours picked out things we wanted met with other contactors for the windows other contractors for the garage door and then they fixed the shingles on the roof that was it that didn't even put the trim around which was supposed to be repaired After this we heard no more from him for months we tried to contact them nobody would answer nobody would contact us . We had already paid from our insurance $13000 which was supposed to cover everything listed in the contract which they claim was not actually a contract that they had to uphold. They use words like faith tenacity loyalty to describe themselves when actually scam artist would be the right description. Our insurance agency told us they've already made payment so anything else that has to be repaired will come out of our pocket they took the $13000 all they did is put shingles on our roof. I have already contacted the Better Business Bureau after they are if it's not resolved I will go to claims court and fall charges and I will claim against all of the employees I have several names and I will make a charge against all of them

I first became acquainted with J Wales Home Solutions when their sales rep, JD Heiney, knocked on my front door and asked if I would allow him to assess any damage to my roof, after a particularly nasty storm. Having a stone coated steel roof that I deemed impervious, I thought it was a waste of time. I am also naturally suspicious of roofers chasing storms. Nevertheless, I allowed him to inspect the roof and he "predictably" stated that my roof had sustained enough damage to warrant replacement. I told him I'd think about it, took his card and put it out of my mind. Over the months following I began having problems with the roof, experiencing a very significant leak that defied repair. Long story, short, I began to regret not having filed a claim for damages with my insurance company. To compound the issue, I was no longer insured by the same company. After many months, JD Heiney appeared, at my door, (again unsolicited), asking if I had ever decided anything about the roof. I explained the situation to JD and we agreed to file a claim for damages with my former carrier. We filed, their engineer and JD met to inspect the damage and it was determined that the roof warranted replacement. From that point on, JD and Ernesto Almeida (project manager) effectively coordinated everything pertaining to the roof replacement. From handling estimates with the insurer, product selection, coordinating schedules, material delivery, tear off, installation and addressing questions/requests that I had. After a week of controlled chaos, the job was completed and I have a new roof. It's beautiful and I am well pleased.Services: Gutter installation, Roof installation

After a long talk with my wife and more time pondering our homes future- we made the best decision for us and our homes value. J.Wales has exceeded our expectations in every way, especially as our insurance representation. If you’re looking for a company to trust and make sure you’re understood through the whole process then I highly recommend Mr. Goeden and the J.Wales team, they have several departments that specialize in every part of the process, and Derek had extensive knowledge of how to help our situation as well. They went above and beyond the normal process of the claim and recovered over $10k for us! In the past we’ve had bad experiences with contractors, but now if we ever need anything then we know who to call. If you need windows, siding etc., they know it all. Especially when it came to our roof, Derek laid out several options for us and made it super easy in our decision to upgrade to the Vista Malarkey shingle. They will literally STEAL YOUR MONEY!!At first they show you they care about your home, but once you give the initial 50% payment I didn’t hear from them again. The team at J Wales did an impressive job installing the metal roof at my home. I can’t express enough how elegant & trendy this now makes my home look. From the initial conversation through execution, JD & his team were first class. One important note, when the EF3 tornado hit my block on October 20th, each of the metal roofs on our block were virtually undamaged whereas each of the standard shingle roofs were severely compromised or worse. I’m not saying metal roofs are tornado proof, but in this event, it gave me & my neighbors a better outcome.

The salesperson has since left the company, and after contacting the company and leaving messages nobody has returned any calls. This company has come to our door soliciting business now 5 times! Tonight pushed me right over the edge. A manager with the company knocked on our front door at 8 pm on a Friday night. I have two small children who were both asleep. We have a no soliciting sign which they never seem to acknowledge. They are also never wearing the badge and vest supplied by the city to prove they have a permit to solicit business. While this gentleman is always polite, his persistence has become annoying and now we will never use this company. Why are they so desperate for business? Red flag ! While selling door to door may be successful for some, you’re probably wasting time with my family. We are all pretty electronically savvy and we will look up and review a company before we decide to do business with them. This company was previously metal roofs of Texas and I can only assume changed their name because of the terrible reviews it received. I can’t review their product but their sales tactics are borderline harassment. If we want to replace our roof we have your info there is NO need to repeatedly show up at our home and at inappropriate times!
