Buildaligned found and corrected 2 problems when replacing my roof. Their team repaired a water leak which had remained in spite of numerous attempts to stop the leak since I moved here 21 years ago. They found and covered over with secure materials, an opening through which Joshua could have fallen when he inspected the hail damage. I was unaware of it when the roof was replaced 10 years ago. I felt helpless because I cannot personally check my roof. Buildaligned and its talented team made me confident that I need not worry. Once we decided to go with Buildaligned, they replaced my mother‘s roof and my roof as well. The end job looks amazing, nothing was skipped on. Talk to one of the sales representatives. They can give you a free estimate and tell you what’s wrong with your roof and will work with your adjuster to get you the most for your money. After having lack of supplies state wide and locally, they have new suppliers and crews ready to work. My old roof was done by a local contractor in our town and after finding out that vents weren’t replaced drip edge wasn’t replaced, etc. by the last roof company, I was disappointed. The Buildaligned crew is meticulous and will not leave the job unfinished. I was a pain in the butt but they definitely know me, and they did right by my mother and myself! I want to thank Phil Stodola the owner, MJ Simmons my sales manager, Allen Gastinger my site manager, The roofing crew, and Robyn Plunkett, the woman behind the scenes for all of the hard work! This hardworking company was a great help recovering from our horrible hail storm in April 2020. Most buildings had to have new roofs so finding a reliable, honest, professional roofing company was not easy. This company came through with hard work, on time and at the agreed on price. Would highly recommend Arete Pro Painting! They are reasonably priced and do quality work. I did a walk through with the owner who gave me a very thorough estimate. It did take a few weeks for my project to start but they checked in every so often to let me know when we were scheduled to start. The crew that came out was very nice, covered all of my furniture, did a detailed job, and cleaned everything up when they were done. We had a few spots where paint had dripped and dried on our hardwoods but when I brought it up they were quick to clean and remedy the situation. All in all - we had a fantastic experience from start to finish with Arete Pro Painting. We LOVE our new paint job and will recommend them to friends and family for future painting needs. After a few hail storms i needed a new roof pretty bad. I was approched by tons of different roofing companies, but then i met Thomas Holcombe and when i did, i knew i wanted him to be the project manager that would over see my job from start to finish. Phil and Matt did a great job with our new roof I highly recommend them. They made every step of the process easy and any questions I had they were always available. After the roof was finished I found a few nails in the grass and landscaping. I called Phil and he personally came out and magnet sweep the yard again. Great Contracting company. They did the painting in the interior of my home and the roofing 1 year later. Both jobs went well. They cleaned up after themselves efficiently and caused minimal disturbance in the neighborhood when working on the roof. I would say they are qualified to take on your project.

Do not use them!!!Phil Stodola is our contact person for this company, why is he reviewing his own company!!We had many issues just to get them to finish the job... Now, I hired a handyman that all my neighbors are using just to do some up-keeping on the house. After working on my house for 2 days, he finally asked, who did your paint job!? He said they did a very bad job. And showed me all the missed part that wasn't painted, all the stuffs a painter should have done while doing the repaint on a house.I also know that, they don't have their own painters that work directly for this company. For my project, they hired independent contractors that owns his own painters, and this independent contractor hired another independent painter, just to finish my house. The only people that knows how to paint are the independent painter and the owner of the independent contractor.We talk to the painters after few days, they start telling us who they really work for.You live, you learn. and now you read, you know... Good luck if you want to try them out...

We wanted to paint our recently purchased house (interior and exterior) before we moved in, so we paid our 50% deposit. We ended up not having any interior painters even START on our house until 3 weeks after that, and those painters took 11 days to finish a 2,000 sq ft house. We also had to nag every other day to even get any painters started on our project. (We had countless "They should start this day" and then no show) We are now over a month after paying and were told the exterior painters would be there today and again, no show. I wish we had gone with another company that didn't take 5 weeks to finish a paint project and didn't require us to nag and complain every day to get anything done.

I cannot express to you how horrendous this experience was, and be warned that some reviewers on this google page are employees of their company, so I feel as though those reviews should not be valid. We received a very reasonable quote from Arete to have our entire interior of our home (all walls, ceilings, trim, built-ins, and cabinets), have the exterior decks power washed and painted, and have some exterior trim painted. The sales professional was very prompt and nice, and I cannot say I had any complaints whatsoever about him and that process. After our sales experience however, things started to go downhill. Two weeks after paying a significant down payment, I had to reach out to them to get the work started. Also, the project manager was supposed to contact me to walk the site and set expectations for the crew. This never happened. I was contacted by the head of the crew himself one night and he wanted to come to the house late in the evening to look at everything and then get started the next day. I thought this was odd at the time, but went with it. The crew lead and I had a very tough time communicating, and I later learned that it was selective communication on his part. He only acted like he understood the things that he wanted to do. When I would explain a duty was part of our quote/contract, he would either act like he didn't understand or state that "his boss didn't tell him he had to do all this extra work and he needed to get paid for it." The crew did not properly prep almost every area, spilled paint on the floors everywhere (ruining wood floors in three areas), did not adequately move furniture (scraping/ruining wood floors in two more areas), used an excessive amount of paint thinner in the oil based paint to cut costs to where all of our trim/built ins look very streaky, and pretty much refused to prep our cabinets adequately so they just painted over existing paint chips and scratches. They left a lot undone, and ultimately on Thursday and Friday of the end of the week they were there (we were originally quoted that this would be a two week job) the crew lead told me that they HAD to get out of our house so that they could get paid. It was clear to me that this pay day deadline was the reason so many corners were cut, and why the workmanship was so horrendous.What really pushed me over the edge is that they lied to me and the project manager (who FINALLY came out to the house after I contacted the sales professional and told him how unhappy I was) about painting our ceilings. It was clear to me that the ceilings in our 20+ foot vaulted living room were not painted, but they insisted that they painted them "when I was not home." When we had the sales professional come out to look at all of the things that had gone awry, he then brought the crew lead back to our house to then try to defend his actions and deny that he had lied about the ceilings. It was one of the most uncomfortable and unprofessional experiences I have had with a service company.We ultimately came to the sales professional after that uncomfortable meeting and finding MORE things in the house that had been done so poorly, that we said we wanted to cut ties completely and take a reasonable amount off of our invoice. They obliged, and I am glad we did not have to fight them on that.I write this long dialogue so that another consumer does not feed into the seductive sales proposal and then quickly have a bait and switch like we did.

When I told my insurance how this company operated, they told me to avoid unethical companies like this because they’re taking advantage of the insurance companies and the customers. When I asked for a quote, the team lead/sales guy said they don’t give quotes and accused me of insurance fraud if I wanted a quote. Really irritating to have an accusation like that and companies that use these scare tactics to try to drum up business.

We needed a new roof for months but couldn’t find someone like Arete to accommodate our budget. I wish we found them several months ago when we were aggressively looking. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH ROBERT! No Independent Contractor or Small Business Do Any type of work or sign any contract with them. They are CROOKS AND WILL NOT PAY YOU FOR YOUR WORK!DO NOT DO ANYTHING WITH THIS CROOK! I am a small business owner and independent contractor. I SIGNED a Contract with this SCAM ARTIST TO SUBCONTRACT MY RESIDENTIAL PAINTING. HE SENT ME A WORK ORDER FOR A ROOFING JOB AND CALLED IT A PAINTING JOB.. HE UNDERBID THE JOB, APPROVED THE WORK I DID, now he is withholding my pay which is in the contract. He underbid the job, not a professional estimator. He made a deal with the homeowner to do a bunch of free work and neglected to tell me. If I would have known he was going to try and get over on me without paying me for the work that I did I never would have signed up and accepted the contract. I only wish I was able to read his Google reviews before becoming a subcontractor. He has done this many times before to lots of homeowners and other small business owners and independent contractors like myself, I SEE! DO NOT trust him or his so-called project manager Armondo Jaime they will lie and not pay you for your work. I have reached out to Phil several times. I have reached out to feel several times. He left me a voicemail stating that he was leaving the country tomorrow and he was too busy to deal with me. He referred me to Armondo who referred me back to him. I am glad I have everything in writing including full support from the homeowner who is ready to tell the truth in court.

After obtaining three estimates for the exterior painting of my home in Sugar Land, TX, I chose ARETE Pro Painting. Estimate was clear and concise. ARETE's paint team (lead by Nahun) arrived and evaluated the situation. Nahun and his team began the pre painting prep (spray washing of the areas to be painted. Nahun would periodically show me the progress of the painting as it was being completed. I was very impressed by Nahun's wood working knowledge and painting skills.
