Kenneth Redden walked us through the whole process from beginning to end. It took months to get our insurance to come through but Kenneth never gave up on us. Once the job was scheduled, he went over the time tables with us. The crew that did the work were super nice and finished very quickly. Kenneth walked us through the final inspection. It was so easy. I would highly recommend this company to anyone with hail or windstorm damage.

Gulf storm roofing has little to no integrity or respect for their clients. A friend trusted them to install the roof he had requested, even at a much higher rated than what other companies are offering, and instead he fell victim to their con artist ways. While the roof they installed was functioning it was not the color that was agreed upon whatsoever. Instead of correcting their mistake they simply stated that they had upheld their end of the contract simply by installing the roof. I would recommend that anyone who wants to receive what they’re paying for look elsewhere.

Scammers, don't use them. They scammed my insurance company and me for my deductable and my insurance coverage, they don't stand behind their work and don't have experience like they claim they do. Stay away. They are lying in their response to this review. They told me the color sample (1 inch by 1 inch) in the brochure was as dark as my neighbor's roof directly across the street (the owner of this company, his project manager, my wife and I were standing in my driveway pointing at that house all having this conversation), I trusted their opinion because they are the experts correct? If they knew what they were doing they should have said "no". Any roofing contractor with any credibility would have said that shingle in the brochure I just handed you will be much ligher based on variation, etc. They claimed the brand of shingle was one they used very often and they said they were excellent quality, etc. Apparently that was a lie. $18,250 later I have an almost white looking very light grey roof, my neighbor's is slate black. The owner admitted that there was only one color lighter after the installation. He will deny that comment now I'm sure. They offered to replace the roof at their suposed raw cost of $9,700 only if I split that cost with them. So they apparently made a 90% profit intially, gave me terrible advice, and then tried to charge me even more ($4,750) to fix their recommended color mistake. The house with the dark colored roof I wanted (and I said multiple times that I wanted a dark roof) was directly across the street, seriously, maybe 75 feet away...don't use them. I asked for my deductable amount back to apply towards another roof with a different company, they refused, this tells me the "split" replacement cost is a lie too. Also, they damaged my radiant barrier during the install, lied to my face that they repaired it. Scammers.Service: Roof installation

This company was contracted by a family member. Chris seemed very knowledgeable and honest. A color was chosen that was supposed to match the dark shingles on a neighbor's house. However, the company installed a light gray, which is not even in the color range agreed upon. Chris looked at it and agreed it is the wrong color. However, the company will not honor the error and replace with correct color. This has totally ruined the curb appeal of the house, which has the best appeal on the block. $18,000 later this family member is stuck with the wrong color and if corrected, will be out of pocket for this homeowner. Very bad business. Do not, repeat, not, recommend this company. They do not stand behind their word.

You know it saddens me when a hard working family wants a good job done, and they put their trust in a company to deliver the work promised, and paid for. But instead they get something different, and to add insult to injury the company won’t fix their mistake. Unfortunately this is one of those companies. Beware of who you hire. They put the wrong color roof and never fixed it. I guess profit to them is better than a happy and satisfied customer.

The guys at gulf storm were a huge help from the get go, all of the way to the end! They were patient and helped me battle the insurance company. They were very thorough in helping me pick out what I wanted and what would work best from the type of shingle, to how to manage the gutters. The crew did a Favreau job and they were very fast and management was there to inspect it every step of the way. The cleanup was very thorough and they followed up well after the fact. STAY AWAY!!! This company did a whole roof with entirely the wrong shingles (not even close to the example shingles discussed/agreed upon) and offered no amends whatsoever. Do yourself a favor and take just a minute to shop online for a more reputable company with a better priced product.
