Kahled came to estimate my re-roofing task, the main house, enclosed breeze way to garage, utility room, and a spa building. After inspecting and photographing the condition (which was worse than I knew, I hadn't been in the attic in years). He have me a thorough explanation of how a new roof would be built, with examples of all the materials and techniques to be used. I agreed to his proposal, the next day material was delivered, and work began. Kahled, as the project manager, keep me informed at all times about the delivery, when work would be performed, etc. I loved the open communications, never felt like anything was being kept back. The job was completed on time, and did not exceed what was expected. No surprises, execpt the decking being worse than I knew as Kahled pointed out in the beginning.

My wife made an inspection appointment. Timmy had a Super professional team from start to end. The installer this company had on my roof was a very experienced master craftsman. We had significant work done, ridge vents and mid roof vents (smart vents for intake) which they completed in a day and a half. Recommend to anyone.

*Update: this evening Journey Builders came out and rectified the safety issues regarding the electrical components. I’m not sure if it was this review that prompted them to resolve the matter, but I am truly appreciative of the integrity displayed by Journey Builders contractors in resolving the matter.I did include updated photos along with photos of the siding that is bulging. Hopefully, the outcome will be as positive as today's was. Note, the siding isn’t a month old so, it's a bit concerning. Nonetheless, I am hopeful that going forward, matters will be promptly resolved.I was hoping that it would not get to this point but at last here I am writing a review that I have been stalling on. Please note that I sent 4 emails, and two phone calls, and responded to text messages regarding this issue to no avail.I used Journey Builders to install my new roof and was ecstatic with the reasonable cost and work they did on my roof. Was everything perfect? No, but I wasn't expecting perfection from humans. I disregarded the cut-up dryer exhaust, the numerous cigarette butts left in the yard, and the water bottles are strewn about. I figured that I had already used them to replace my roof why not use their service to replace the siding and paint? Well, that was my mistake.I disregarded the disrespectful tone and manner in which the contractor addressed me when he called himself “checking me” via text over an additional paint selection I made to paint the trim on my home (yes, I wish I was kidding but sadly I am not).Where I draw the line is unfinished work and safety. In the photos included the contractors left electrical components loose and exposed. I repeatedly attempted to get the matter resolved and at first, I received correspondence back claiming it would be completed. As of today, nothing has been resolved. To make matters worse we already have siding that is bulging. I was informed that it wasn't nailed down properly.

I had a leak in my roof causing interior damage to a wall in our front bedroom.Journey builders came out to evaluate the damage and provide me with 3 different quotations for repair of the roof.I hired Journey Builders to install an entire new roof on my home. They completed my roof on a weekend without issue.The entire Team that supported me from Journey Builders was excellent and knowledgeable about roofing.I appreciate the customer focus provided to me from sales to final clean up.Thanks again for a job well done.

Journey came out and gave me a quote on roof damage caused by a racoon. He created a small hole to escape my attic.Journey was quick getting to me. The quote was $2,250.00. The repair guy was there the next day and was done in 2 hours. The quality of work was good and fast. Probably $150.00 in material. I think it was a bit to expensive when I saw what it took to fix it.

Wow…these guys started off with a bang…each thing I wanted was noted and I immediately had an estimate! The estimate included a new roof and new air conditioning units…they started on the roof …oh, there was the usual “you really need to pay more because it’s worse than we thought “but we worked through that ‘misunderstanding’…and suddenly the air conditioning units were delivered…unfortunately not the units we agreed on! One more ‘misunderstanding’! Things went downhill from there! We are now a month past the promised finish date and we’re without air conditioning because they removed the existing ones when the roof was done. I have a distinct feeling they want me to cancel the contract so they don’t have to provide the specific units…by offeringOthers with a lower rating. I have carefully adhered to the payment schedule but since I am uncomfortable about them getting the a/c units I asked for the details on model #’s and dates…telling them the next payment would be made while they actually had the units we agreed on…and I made sure to get a cashiers check for advance payment of which I sent a photo copy to the sales rep….he now refuses to pick up the check saying he wants only payment for the roof work….needless to say, it doesn’t instill confidence that they will live up to the rest of our agreement. The sales rep’s eager beaver approach has vanished…not a word on the a/c units…not even an alternative plan….to satisfy our contract….Sorry to say that’s a poor way to conduct business…I hope to have someone from Journey Builders come forward and help solve this mess…if so, perhaps I can amend ther low rating.

Their work is not the issue their work ethic is took longer than stated. Left drive way full of nails and screws. And tor up fence .had to call corporate to get any one to even address the issues. Really frustrated with the whole situation. I have an area on my roof I needed repaired and I have a deadline for it. They sent someone out to take a look at the issue in a very timely manner. I got a quote for repairing the one spot as well as a quote for an overall roof maintenance (which I confirmed via text with the representative). We decided just to fix the one spot and I reached out on the same number and never heard back. So I reached out to the office and was told they couldn't just repair the one spot but that they'd have a supervisor contact me to solve the issue/miscommunication either that evening or the next morning. I never received that follow up call. Super confusing when they have all these 5 star reviews.
